If you can make more than 3m gp per hour, making wines is more efficient than cooking rocktails with decorated cooking urns.

Then we now know Magic is not going to work against the QBD. That leaves melee and range. Personally I hope range with dragonbane bolts will be the most effective.

I don't regret quitting for one bit. I'm having a lot of fun playing a warlock on WoW (play it with me!). The community in general is also a lot nicer.

I maged Nex for fun. I hit her four times in total in one overload dose. 4% accuracy. Had 157 mage attack bonus with leeches, using polypore. I have been playing around with Monster Examine for a while, and I discovered Nomad has 300 Magic levels, Zenevivia 250, aberrant spectres 90, infernal mages 70, Tok-Xil 90 and TzTok-Jad 640. Nex can't be leeched sadly, otherwise I could find out her Magic/Strength level. I can try Magic on Kree'arra again, with a range def that's equal to what I had in my pernix set up. Edit: I just went to Zilyana and she has 300 Magic levels, which seems a bit low considering I splashed quite a bit on her.

I think you're right, Aiel. I just had a look at my recorded kills with mage and range and I was constantly getting hit by his mage attacks in ganodermic armor, but not so often in pernix armor. Interesting.

Yes, yes and yes. Leeches make mage about as accurate as range on Kree'arra. The difference between Augury and Leech Magic/Defence is very big.

So I just compared range to mage against Kree'arra. I get 26 kills p/h with polypore and 22 with CCB + bakriminel bolts. Surprising outcome. I wore Nex gear for both set ups, but I switched the virtus top for a ganodermic top when I tried mage.

You got 5 K'ril kills. I got 8. Went to Graardor after you left. Got one kill in before a crasher entered the room. After 5 minutes, a second crasher joined in and after a while a third crasher joined in on the fun as well. Lol. I just left - Graardor is pretty bad gp/hr anyway, especially with all the crashers nowadays. He was ridiculously easy to kill with torva, divine, claws and dreadnips.

Let the update sink in for a day and then decide whether if you're going to continue playing or not.

Same here, haha. I have never thought an update worth quitting over until today. I might do the same if it isn't changed in some way. Everything that they're posting makes it worse. I don't think they will change it. In fact, I think this is only the beginning. We will see a lot more updates like this in the future. I have cancelled my subscription because the game feels like a dieing game to me and Jagex seems to be trying their very best to milk every penny out of their player base. I don't support their recent actions, so I have cancelled my subscription. I don't like seeing this game dieing.

I have preodered the game two days ago :) I was too late for the fourth closed beta, but I will be eligible to enter the others. Born for PvM got 160k RC exp from 75 spins. He calculated that it's better to find a real life job, work for two hours and spend the money you earned on SOF spins and get your RC exp, instead of RCing for 3 hours.

RuneScape seems to be slowely turning into those MMO's with a cash shop.
