24 March 2014 - Fate of the Gods
Fate of the GodsZaros returns in RuneScape's latest Grandmaster quest, with lore galore, otherworldly excursions, fierce combat, rewards to earn, and secrets to uncover. Speak to Azzanadra, south of the Eagles' Peak lodestone, and you'll embark on a cross-world odyssey to Freneskae - birthplace of the Mahjarrat. There, you'll uncover the entire history of Zaros - one of RuneScape's most powerful and enigmatic entities - from his birth right up until the present day. You'll find answers to some of the biggest questions in RuneScape's history, battle powerful foes and explore a perilous, alien landscape. Also, the decisions you make during the quest will directly affect Zaros's fate. Will you help him to return, or seek to hinder him? Fate of the Gods is a real treat for seasoned lore fans. Skill requirements are high, and there's a bundle of recommended quests, which will grant you additional rewards as well as giving further context to the quest's events. It's fully voice-acted too, so be sure to turn up your speakers or plug in your headphones when you play. Your reward will be swathes of XP in Magic, Divination, Slayer, Agility and Summoning, plus permanent access to Freneskae, where you'll find high-level combat and extra content after the quest is complete. There are additional XP lamps, a new teleport and two new cosmetic overrides to earn for completing the recommended quests and finding everything hidden in Freneskae. The Empty Lord returns. What should I be doing?
I would also advice you to train your Dungeoneering. The skill itself involves a lot of PvM. The way I see it, it helps you understanding how to kill monsters as fast and efficiently as possible as you would want fast floors for faster training. It will help you understanding the use of abilities and the like. What is helpful is that the gear provided in the Dungeons are free and only limit by your levels. As you aren't maxed combat yet, this isn't a problem as someone could easily smith you the required gear. This will allow you to eventually purchase Chaotic weaponry and once you obtain 85 Dungeoneering, you can enter the lair where the Frost Dragons reside. An excellent source of money with the bones they drop. Also their secondary drops are pretty valuable enough as they stack. However as you do not have a Yak yet, these are limited as most of the times the bones will be worth more then the stacked drops. There are a few exceptions though: Rune Longsword: Worth more then 1 Dragon Bone, isn't noted however!Rune Arrows: If you are not ranging, these can go in your quiver slot.Water Talisman: Noted and are dropped per 2. As a result are worth more than 1 Dragon Bone.Grimy Dwarf/Lanta: If you get 2 of these as drop, they are worth more than 1 Dragon Bone, if inventory is running full and only got 1 of these, drop them.Adamant Bars: Are dropped uncommonly, but almost always worth it to pick up.Spirits: This is personal choice, they are a rare drop but are the equivalent of 10/20/30 charms at an activation rate of 10/20/30 percentages.Effigy: Speaks for itself.Visage: Idem ditto. It is preferred to have Super Anti-fire potions by the time you reach this, but can be a very steady source of income to increase your overall wealth. It is also my favourite source of income. You might as well go for the options above this post. But all in all, you need to remember it is a long road to get to maxed PvM stats and patience is required to reach this :). May the odds be ever in your favour!

Pictures of those TIFers -- 2.0
Gotta snipe a few people first, and get your name recognized.. then they will be out for revenge. Doesn't really work, I have sniped quite a bunch of people, never get sniped back. Might be because I am an odd-worlder.

Even with 1 activation/minute, it is still 51600 exp/h without bonus or 103200 including bonus.

Third: Do not be a self-righteousness God. We all know what happend to Lucien :) Fourth and last thing: These calculators cannot be at copyright. It never has been registered, nor have you posted anything before about copyright! And besides, you cannot copyright something where many people have worked together to create it!

200M in all Skills
oh god disgusting lol. Wait where is this poll. But I think favorite year probably has a lot to do with what times you had the most time to enjoy the game most. A lot of people are nostalgic about 2005-2007 which was ok but still didn't have the best game play ever and had some bad elements too as well as good but a lot of people had a childlike attachment to the game there and there was more socialization around it - not as much shame to tell your friends about runescape then. 2008-2009 saw a lot of positive gameplay updates to skills and the ge and tradelimit update the Ge was overall positive but made people not have to rely on others as much and the tradelimit made lots of pkers and merchants quit the community was super split and upset about this update, also at this time many people were growing out of runescape and started playing Wow/other games/ just moving on. 2010 saw dungeoneering, kuradels and icestrykes and for me 2010-2011 was the funnest in RS. Effigies came and were the first instance of free exp. While a lot of hardcore people hated effigies it gave maxed players and people close to maxing hope for more exp gains and probably started a lot of peoples wants for more exp past 99 besides the top of the highscore list. Dungeoneering gave more people reason to max and with its level 120 made people join in groups longer to train the skill - if this skill only went to 99 most would probably not get the chance to really enjoy it It created real high level enjoyable content that wasn't just bosses. Then came Sof and the nerfing of effigies- here we set the precedent that rs was pay 2 win and it was really rediculous they made updates and promotions to sof and Solomon store slowly and people against it slowly quit as well. Eoc came and some people really liked it but a lot of people didn't like it at all and the people that didn't like it quit. Then they added 2007 scape and it showed that alot of people still had the addiction/attachment to runescape but didn't like the direction it was going at all. But yeah I think overall people just grew up- had less time time to play throughout the years and rs went through distinct generations and people that start now didn't see the good and the bad. Peoples favorite year of scape will be the one they had the most enjoyment - probably from the time they knew the game enough to like it but not enough that they didnt have anything to do. I vote 2010 -pre sof 2011. [/hide] I would say mid or late 2008 is the most ideal time period. 2009 came with energy nerf, LRC, and Advanced Courses. It's restricted to very specific time periods, which is a big negative imo. Runetracker's and CrystalMathLabs's system of a sliding time window that is tracked is superior to the system Jagex just made that is also used by Runetrack and other lesser known tracking sites. It's why those other sites tend to do poorly in comparison to Runetracker and CML imo. It is what you are preferred to. I like RuneTrack because it offers a very neat overview, while RuneTracker is in my eyes very chaotic and messy.

So those who have Red memories are Zamorak sided and those who have purple are Zaros sided? Karshai is white and we know he is neutral/guthixian.

17 March 2014 Mahjarrat Memories
[is this a good format :o?] Mahjarrat Memories and Circus Today's update brings a bucketload of new RuneScape content, for lore-lovers, circus performers and interface wranglers alike. Mahjarrat Memories follows on from the Koschei's Troubles miniquest, and lets high-level lore fiends seek out the secrets of Senntisten's history. Our Ninja Team have been hard at work on the Circus D&D, making as many of your requests happen as they can. We've also brought you a big interface improvement: the ability to customise the Ribbon, so your most useful interfaces are fewer clicks away. Read on to find out more, or log in now! Mahjarrat Memories High-level miniquest, members only. Carrying on our lore-filled March, Mahjarrat Memories is a new miniquest for those who've discovered the secret history of Koschei the Deathless. During its course, you'll be given a device which can collect and store residual memories lingering in ancient places, and will be tasked with gathering those of the Mahjarrat: some you'll know well, such as Sliske, Lucien and Azzanadra, and others you'll never have met before. This miniquest will give you a deeper insight than ever before into the Second Age at the height of the Zarosian Empire, making this a real treat for lore lovers. Rewards include both regular and bonus XP in Divination; an in-game book, filled with the memories you'll gather during the quest; a cosmetic override for your head; and an amazingly cute bobblehead pet, styled after a certain megalomaniacal Mahjarrat. On top of all that, you will also receive an item that could be very useful during the Fate of the Gods quest. If you want to discuss the content of the Mahjarrat Memories, please keep spoilers limited to this thread. Mod Jack and the RuneScape Team How to start Mahjarrat Memories: Head to Thorvald's house in Rellekka and climb down the ladder. Requirements: You must have at least level 60 in Divination, and have completed Koschei's Troubles. Note that this - in turn - requires completion of the following: Ritual of the Mahjarrat.Blood Runs Deep. The Fremennik Trials.Glorious Memories. Circus Improvements D&D update, members only. Balthazar Beauregard's Big Top Bonanza (or simply the Circus) is one of RuneScape's best loved activities, and today we've released a show-stopping batch of your most-requested improvements, so it's easier to use, more rewarding and more fun than it's ever been. If you've not tried the Circus before, it's a weekly opportunity to perform at Balthazar's Big Top for hefty XP rewards in Magic, Agility and Ranged (plus Thieving and Firemaking if you've completed certain quests), as well as some cool cosmetic rewards. It's quick, fun, and everything you need's right there at the Circus - what's not to like? Here are the improvements we've introduced today: You no longer need to pick up and equip items for your performances. The Agility event has been improved, making it more rewarding for low-level players and bringing the XP rate for all players up slightly. All costume rewards will also unlock a cosmetic override. You don't need to talk to tutors to start each performance, and a large amount of non-essential dialogue has been made optional or removed entirely. The ringmaster cutscene will no longer play, if you've already seen it.A new interface will be shown during each performance, displaying your current score, which tricks that you've already performed and the current audience request.A bunch of other small fixes and tweaks - as requested by you. We really hope you enjoy the newly streamlined Circus D&D. If you have any further ideas for how to improve it, let us know on the forums! Mod Ana and the Ninja Team Customisable Ribbon Free players and members Last, but not least, you can now customise the Ribbon. That's the small interface element containing the buttons for the Hero, Powers and Adventures interfaces, among others. Not only can you rearrange the icons that were already there, but you can also switch in icons that were previously locked into drop-down menus: the Prayers interface, for example. This means that you can put together a Ribbon that accesses the interfaces you want with just one click - even emulate the old-style 'stones' interface, if you wish. To edit the Ribbon, click the new icon at its lower corner, near the padlock icon. Have fun experimenting, and let us know how you get on, over on the forums. Mod Z and the RuneScape Team In Other News Take a look at the patch notes for other updates released today. [spoiler=Patch Notes]The following fixes and tweaks have now been implemented. The lobby timer in the Sinkholes D&D has been sped up to allow players to get into games faster. Players will no longer lose a daily Sinkholes game when disconnecting from a game. Signs and portents of life will no longer activated in Player-Owned Houses. The bonfire health boost will no longer reset to the minimum bonfire boost after logging out and in again. The bank chest near the Armadyl camp, south of Falador, is back again. Holy water is now a 1-handed weapon. The 'Prospect' option has been removed from a large amount of locations it had remained on. Also after some researching:

200M in all Skills
I think there should be some trade-off implemented! Like after the promotion ends, the feathers will be only obtainable by running courses and the boots can only be discharged by running laps. That would be for the best in my opinion!

Post all RS Screenshots, Videos, and Sounds here!
Visage rate seems much steeper since I can kill 1000s of metals without one but I can get b2b visages off of qbd Yeah but I was wondering if it was at a formula based rate akin to effigies. Just other variables perhaps besides combat?
-
Post all RS Screenshots, Videos, and Sounds here!
It makes me wondering if the Visages also have a similar formula to it as effigies have to combat. I mean, have fun trying to get one from metal dragons, but higher ones drop visages more often...

10-March-2014 - One of a Kind
their defense is "kind of high" but you could probably drygore them if you are really against the idea of just using some darts or something i don't really recommend getting in biting range of a dragon copied from the steel dragon template unless you enjoy spending time healing instead of being a just out of reach [wagon] with a lot of super antifires I actually tried them first time with drygores, had no trouble with surviving, most of the time it wasn't even worth a shark in damages.

80-85 Woodcutting
Not as much for wc exp, you'll gain more fm exp than wc exp. At his level he would get about 200k-225k fm exp/h along with 1/10th in wc exp. As he is mainly looking for wc exp, this isn't the best way to go.
