  1. I think it's getting a little out of hand now o.O *Me is scaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa -goes on forever and ever and ever and ever and ever ..... :ohnoes: Well basically for me Runescape is getting to an end PvM wise. It's getting a bit hopeless now =C
  2. That is up to this person and not really something we can pinpoint in the calculator. You have to include it somehow. An individual wont know the answer to that question either and you don't want someone to get stuck at the user interface so I suggest only getting them to put in their average hours/day which is something they do know. From their hours per day you can estimate the number of days they'll be playing for. That is something optional that only should be considered to put into the calculator once the global outline has been finished.

  4. For now I would say: Screw hit/miss chances. At low level till about 60 this won't be any of concern. Hit/Miss chances starts to really pop in when you need to be there for hours on end.
  5. Please rephrase the whole thing, you are kinda hard to understand if you write like that. And besides, this should be in this subforum: http://forum.tip.it/forum/23-runescape-suggestions/
  6. Well I think I already pinpointed which quests should definitely help in the beginning. Also Hedge, you are forgetting 1 thing: WGS reward may cut-off 10 hours in agility. But if all the quests and WGS itself takes longer then those 10 hours + w/e cut-off in time remaining with the exp rewards, then it makes one slower to get maxed right? Then it is no longer efficient?
  7. I argue that FR and LG are better than RBY. Any self-respecting Pokemon player who isn't a nostalgiafag would agree. For some aspect I disagree... One of them is Speedrunning. Try and do a 2h-2.5h speedrun on FR/LG?
  8. This is quite old and has been mentioned before.

  10. Not really as Sliske could also be just a follower of Zaros and that means Sliske has an emissary as Zaros =O
  11. One doesn't have to consider them if neglecting them has a small effect. Getting caught up on small details just leads to a burn out trying to account for everything and neglecting bigger parts of such a project. True, there are some quests I listed that isn't needed....
  12. I'm perfectly fine with you using my post for that :) It'd be nice if you would source or quote me for the parts that are my ideas, but I'm not going to force you to. The RSOF might not be the place I would personally choose to put something like that (considering the level of negativity and ignorance that seems to generally flood any intelligent discussion over there) but it's definitely not going to hurt anything. Jmods do seem to check fan-sites just as much as they do the RSOF--perhaps it would be a more effctive idea to do something (not entirely sure what) on our end of the discussion, where the best ideas can filter to the top instead of being drowned in the mass of EoC suggestions on the RSOF (that seem to mostly amount to "remove it and change things back to the way they were"). If they do visit fansites, I wonder why they never post or something like the Gowers did years back.
  13. The point for the calculator is to include all the efficient things on the way to be maxed as soon as possible. Then one has to consider quests as they often unlock things that makes the road to maxing either a lot faster or a lot more convenient. The quest list I posted certainly adds the either of these aspects some even both. For example: Dwarf Cannon quest. This allows one to use the Cannon which, once addressed, would help massively for slayer and saves way more time then the time it takes to complete the quest. Quests are overall meant to support the player overall. Certainly balance must be sought for the trade off point.
  14. With permissions of Q and Binary Mage, I would like to start with a preliminary outline to post on the RSOF that incorporates both of your posts. Of course I cannot post this out of name of TIF without permission from the admins, but it would be a good start to already make a decent constructive feedback.
  15. That post should be added to the thread we should be posting @ rsof...
  16. On another note, I still think tank armour is not tanky enough =/
  17. We should just post something that this has been feedback put forward from the Tip.It Community. Gives it much more weight!
  18. I completely agree! With your permission I would like to post this on the RS forums No wait, we should even make a global message from tip it!
  19. Here is a list of quests that I would think would definitely be helpful to start off the game. Not in order, just posting to see if anyone as any ideas or suggestions. Will try to change the list later after ideas/suggestions to be more optimal.
  20. D bones also have been dropping. Tried to sell bout 3k of them for 3k each while their mid price was high 2700 ish. This was bout a week ago. Now it's around 2400-2500 ish.
  21. Yeah I agree, also I would leave the combat stuff for last due to the rapid changes past few months et all.. Besides, Runecrafting for instance can be done at almost any time really. Prayer should be done as soon as you got access to a gilded altar of your own as this is faster. A tokkul-zo isn't required, but could help a tid bit. It will save only an hour at most over Ring of Duelling tho. One should start dungeoneering once he/she got 80s combat and then go straight for chaotics. Just Staff and Maul. Agility could be done at any time too as the courses barely require any quests and it will help with shortcuts and whatnot.. For the rest the first aim would be doing to quests till the point that it unlocks transport abilities. That means FTP2 till a certain point + The Grand Tree + Love Story for tablets. Also Heroes would be helpful to recharge glories but that can be fixed by asking someone with a Geyser Titan. Any other general ideas to kick off with leveling? EDIT: I am now skimming through quest lists to see what quests would be good to start with. Will post a list off the basic quests that will come in handy for sure!
  22. Just sold a offhand drygore rapier for bout 36.5m (3.5m profit for me so no complaints ;D!)
  23. Just join the side of Guthix!
  24. I'm thinking; Good job with the rebalance of blocks, add ovls and prayers to that and it should be good for bossing Accuracy; The massive drop on the style you're strong agaisnt is what worries me, maybe with ovls/prayers you can get at least get 85%? You might have read it wrong; top is the accuracy and bottom is the armour. Your accuracy against the style you are strong to actually increased. I think he means the Block Chance % and is what I also meant earlier =/
