Runescape Featured in PC Gamer

I was walking through my local grocery store when I saw this. Didn't get to read the article, and I am not paying $10 for a magazine, but the jist of it was that RS3 is going to be huge for the company.

Here is a link to a short little article about it.

This is quite old and has been mentioned before.

Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, 'Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous?' Actually, who are you not to be?~ Marianne Williamson

That's a rather lame reason... No offense, but you are entitled to do what you want.

Why is it lame? the magazine is still on sale so it's not like me posting a scan is the only way people can get to read it. The magazine is edited and published by Future publishing in Bath and as it's a business local to me I want to support them.

I don't have a scanner so I would have to photograph each page individually and crop. Don't know if I can be bothered at all now due to the hostility.

I think Mercifull has a fair point, whilst the magazine is still in active print and on sale to post scans of the articles online is kinda akin to pirating the content and potentially detracting from the magazines sales.

Once it's out of print and only being sold sporadically through back-orders it's less intrusive to their business to share the content freely.

I was trying to elude to that reasoning, but I guess I wasn't throwing that out there strong enough. Respect for the business is all good and well for me.

Oh I'm very sorry your saying 'that's a lame reason' entirely threw me off the idea that you agreed with the idea that respecting the business by not scanning it whilst still on sale because I was under the impression a 'lame reason' was a negative comment and indicated disagreement.

You could say I invented my own context to how he voiced his choice (not that it was the way he actually intended to convey the message). When he said "I could..." I took it as he could, but decided to withhold for selfish reasons. Meh... A derp moment.
