  1. 4k or 5k morale mission I assume. In which case your low morale was the cause of the failure.
  2. You should be able to get almost every voyage to at least 80% success, else you are misconfiguring something.
  3. It is the removal of f2p accounts. The reason there is so many is because Jagex periodically removes them all at once rather than as soon as someone loses p2p. This has happened several times before. edit: It's possible that some bots were banned. These would have been gold farming bots rather than the personal bots.
  4. There is almost always a day or so of bot downtime after an update. This is normal and has been happening the past 3 years at least, probably since injection bots began Lots of scripts will have been outdated by the changes so If everything else remains constant, expect the bots to be back to normal levels within a few weeks.
  5. Agreed. I legitimately don't understand why people don't like it. Is it because combat is no longer ridiculously easy and requiring no skill? Lol. Honestly, I hate combat in RuneScape for YEARS. For the longest time, I had high skill levels and really low combat. I just found it so mind numbingly boring to stand there, click once, and wait to kill your opponent. At least now combat is more varied and actually engaging. Except skilling isn't anymore interesting. It's far more repetitive so I really don't understand the point you are trying to make. Anyway, the exp rates for combat are far too high. Monsters need more lifepoints. My point is that combat is how significantly more engaging than how it was before. That point still stands, regardless of how you feel about skilling. How I feel about skilling has nothing to do with it. I don't disagree that combat is more engaging now. But you can't say you liked skilling because it wasn't click and wait. Skilling is much more clicking and waiting than combat ever was.

  7. Rs wiki is wrong or you are reading the "stacks: no" wrong as that means if it stacks like coins/runes/arrows. I have two longbow sights and they stack. Tome of frost, zealots, arcane blast, twisted neck all should stack. Law staff and nature staff will not. As an aside both of these items are worthless (fire staff for alching and air staff for whatever you need law runes for)
  8. If by easiest you mean "the least amount of brainpower involved" then I suppose. Certainly not a good method though. A much better method is to superheat gold ore with goldsmithing gauntlets until 88 smithing, then use adamant bars to make adamant platebodies until 99 smithing, with a scroll of efficiency. This will of course lose money but the time you saved on the way to 99 smithing can be used to make money which will exceed whatever you could make with cannonballs. Cannonballs are something like 15k xp/hr and less than 200k gp/hr. Both of these are terrible. If you insist on doing cannonballs, complete morytania 2. The legs will let you craft cannonballs twice as fast at the Port Phasmatys furnace.
  9. Not sure that's a sign of laziness, just a sign of low summoning level :) I'm so lazy that I would rather repeat a floor then be forced to do a c1 run. As it stand right now I have 120m dg exp, I'd probably be that much closer to 200m if I didn't detest c1-ing so much.
  10. Vyre tasks aren't very good slayer experience but they're pretty short so I won't skip unless I have a lot of points. When on task, I notice the weapon's max hit can vary quite a bit. Sometimes a 600 is a max hit and an 800 won't be. Wiki doesn't seem to know the exact mechanics of the weapon either so I'm hoping someone here would.
  11. You absolutely need all three combat styles. The fight kiln monsters are extremely weak to their opposite; however, they also have a 50% damage reduction the other two combat types.
  12. I hope you read this and don't think I'm attacking you. I'm not. I'm trying to offer genuine advice. You are not very good at dungeoneering. This isn't some subjective thing about "silly code of dungoneering" as the person above said. Purely objectively the best dungeoneer is someone who can maximize experience per unit time. Now I understand there are people who don't care about fast floor times and that's fine. But if you're dungeoneering on World 114, the expectation is that you try to to get the most experience in the least amount of time. If you don't like rushing floors, find people with a similar mindset and play with them. You have a lot of wasted actions. You are doing things that aren't helping the floor go by faster while your teammates are. I would be frustrated if I was trying to complete a floor while you were off doing whatever you were doing. Now I've only seen this short clip of you dungeoneering and you were pretty understandably excited about your drop, so maybe you play differently normally. All of this being said, you deserve your hex. Whoever gets it deserves it. It's that simple. Enjoy your hex.
  13. Ah that's true but consider that sometimes the slayer spot on the world your avatar is on is already being used. So you'll have to hop and lose the 3% bonus. If you bring avatar with you, there's no problem. From my limited use of steel titan so far, I dont think it's that effective. Maybe I'm using it wrong. I'm just spamming special move. edit: another minor point. Steel titan doesn't increase xp per task, just shortens the task. Avatar doesn't shorten the task but gives more xp per task. Since tasks where you can use a titan are above average slayer xp/hr, this is a small point in favour of the avatar.
  14. It's likely no one knows the answer to this but I'll ask anyway. Maybe someone can do some research. On slayer tasks, would the 6% avatar proximity bonus be more useful than steel titan for someone who wants to maximise xp/hr?
  15. Kill 1 boss in endurance, then check. Forfeit any boss that takes longer than 20 seconds. The chance of getting a journal page doesn't change according to how many bosses you've killed. So it's best to check every single time you kill a boss.
  16. Eh? Not sure what you mean. If you're asking why people would want to get reborn, maybe you'd get some shiny aura, a title, a super completionist cape, or some particle effects that surround you whenever you walk around. The things people do to look cool in this game...
  17. I think something like this happening is an inevitability. I don't think all skills will go to 120 though. Probably just the combat skills. Crazy idea: introduce a rebirth mechanic. Once you have everything 99/120 dg you can get yourself reborn. All your stats get reset to 1 but you'll level 1.5x faster and the requirements for all gear/weapons/overload/turmoil will be reduced by half. You now get to max again, only you'll have a huge advantage against other non-reborn people. You'd have to keep your exp to keep all the people with lots of exp in a skill happy. So you'd be level 1 attack with 200m xp in it.
  18. Hanlon's Razor. So in light of today's botany bay mass banning, I think it's pretty safe to say there's a good chance this is just a cockup on their part and NOT some sort of insidious anti-Chinese agenda. There's really no evidence to suggest the latter.
  19. The vote for the punishment disappears too quickly for me to register my vote.
  20. Unbearable lag since the update. Hopefully just a temporary thing. If not...ugh.
  21. That's unfortunate. However this does tell us something. These gold farm macro bans are IP based.
  22. Ah. Well then. In case anyone is reading this and is thinking " Obviously you gold farmed and now you are just crying wolf" you can look at his xp gains here. http://runetrack.com...er=Mister_Sonic Hugely varied amounts of experience every day and in all different skills. So obviously a legit player. A gold farmer would get similar xp gains everyday and in the same skill (hunting for example). I'm really disturbed that this system is throwing up false positives already. And when confidence in Jagex was at an all time high too...
  23. Unfortunately it's very possible geography is hurting you here. Do you live in an apartment building? Perhaps someone in the same building as you is gold farming. I would write to customer support. Once a jmod manually looks at your account's activities/trade history/daily xp gains you will be cleared, of that I'm confident.
  24. Mage trees are 8 hours each, he can't average 4 a day. I don't want you to think I'm accusing him of anything, I just want to know how it's done. Past 7 days he went from 166,124k exp to 169,130k exp, averaging 430k exp a day. 30k a day from assist 205k a day from magic trees ( 3 x 5 x 13.7k) 92k a day from palm trees (1.5 x 6 x 10.2k) 14k a day from calquat (1.12 x 12.1k ) = 341k I suppose the other 89k can be made up with the planting exp and fellstalk runs. Then there's also random and sof lamps. So all in all, it's very possible to average 430k xp farming a day (not counting doing livid farm) but it's very difficult to time everything.
  25. How is suomi getting farm up? He's been averaging 300-600k a day. Even if he's timing tree/herb runs perfectly + 30k effigy assist that shouldn't come anywhere close to 600k. He's not getting effigies anymore since he's been doing hunter, etc.
