Guide to quitting (or cutting down) [on] runescape
I just want to add a little something to this: I agree with the person (whoever it was) that said moving from RS to WoW is a BAD idea. For one, I've seen a LOT of my friends get addicted to WoW a LOT worse than anyone I know has called me addicted to RS. They give up friends to do raids or to 'run instances', which I think is a lot worse than what I've seen RS 'addicts' do. I've never given up a chance to hang out with my buddies simply because 'I have a crafting level to get' or 'I wanna go fight the KBD.' You also have to understand that a lot of people who play RS can't play WoW, either because of parents, lack of system requirements, or just simply can't afford it. It's a $30-$50US game, and a $15US required monthly subscription, which is a far more expensive hobby than the free, browser based with optional $5US monthly RS subscription. Sorry, I'm a little biased against WoW. It took my friends away. :(

A mathematical approach to the crystal bows (UPDATED v1.2)
Nice for a first guide. I'm not much for the numbers myself, but I think I'll show this to my fiance, he loves his numbers (Maybe this'll finally get him to join heheh...and yes he plays RS). Also, your English is fairly decent as well, but for a few spelling errors/typos. But we all do that, even those of us from English-speaking countries. Other than that though, good job!

So you want to run a clan
VERY good advice. Was thinking of starting up a clan meself, and this just put things into perpective for me.

Certain topics loading particularly slowly
Not sure if this is considered 'necroposting', but it's relevant to the topic at hand. I myself have noticed that I can't get into the current Price Check topic. Well, the first page at least. I've tried multiple ways of doing it, on multiple computers. (I work at a LAN center and have access to 16 different computers). I can't open the first page of that topic AT ALL. Maybe it has something to do with the way the topic itself is set up, or something, I dunno. I've had trouble with it before. Basically, what happens is, I click on the link. It starts loading. Then less than one second later, the status bar on the bottom says 'Done', but I see a blank page. No error message of any kind (404 or otherwise). I go, click on another topic, and that one loads fine and quickly. Maybe it should be looked at? I mean, I'm not sure if it's just me or not. But if other's have a problem with it, it should definitely be looked at.

Forum Glitch, logs me out????? (rare, i know)
Sounds like it might be your browser's cookie settings. If you can actually access them, check and see what they're set to.

RS Loading Troubles?
I actually just found out from the RS forumsthat it was the NewYork servers that were having trouble. I'm in Maine, so that's the one I tend to use the most. The servers just went offline about 10 minutes ago, after I was having the loading problems.

Need Help Lock-picking Doors!!!!
The chests are the easy part. Right click on the chests and choose 'SearchChest' or Search-traps Chest' (not sure which it is.). That'll make it so you don't get hit on those. Now the door, are you talking about the second house south of the bank in the western part of east ardougne? If you are, I think you need a lockpick for that. I've personally never tried opening it with a lockpick, so I'm not completely sure on that one.

RS Loading Troubles?
Hey,I've been having some troubles loading RS. I work at a LAN center, and we have 16 comps here. I've been able to test RS on 13 of the comps. I've tested out java using a different browser-based java game, so I know it's not that. I know other people are playing right now. Not even 3 hours ago, I was playing RS on my home comps. I was just wondering if any one else was having this problem, or if it was just the comps here.

Simpsons film confirmed for 2007
I'm just surprised they didn't make this sooner. I pretty much grew up watching the Simpsons. I just don't watch TV much anymore, so I haven't seen anything new of the show.

favorite rap/hip-hop group?
Firstly, most of the radio rap is just absolutely AWEFUL! I can't stand the stuff. Then again, I try to refrain from listening to the radio as much as possible. Personally, I prefer ICP. If you got something to flame me for about it, don't make it public. I've been listening to them for years, and I must say they have a bit more intelligence and talent than some of the other rap artists around. To take something like Edgar Allen Poe's 'The Telltale Heart' and modernize into 'Ol' Evil Eye' is just pure talent and class. But, that's just my opinion.

Lesser Known Bands
Right now I can only think of one artist that is 'underground'. That is Matisyahu. Really quite interesting music.

favorite country music songs and singers
I'm not a big country fan either. I do like two songs right now though (the most sappy ones too, due to circumstances happening in my real life). I like Diamond Rio's "I believe" and Tim McGraw's "Live Like You Were Dying". My MOM, hardcore rock fan that she is, even likes these songs.

Favourite song intro's
I think I may as well just make a list...There's really no point in choosing just one. There's too much good music with great intros. Metallica - Nothing Else Matters Metallica - Enter Sandman Metallica - Fade To Black Metallica - Sad But True Red Hot Chili Peppers - Under The Bridge Sublime - Pawn Shop Sublime - Summertime (short intro, but easy groovin') Eagles - One of These Nights Eagles - Lyin' Eyes Eagles - Witchy Woman Ozzy Osbourne - Mr. Crowley Ozzy Osbourne - Bark at the Moon There is another one that I like as well. It's not an instrumental intro, like most of the aforementioned ones, in my post and in others. The song is Boogie Woogie Wu by ICP. It's actually a speken word intro, done by Alice Cooper. I'll even post the intro for you all (don't worry, no cursing or anything). "The beast lives out of the raging storm in the dead of night The ravenous, blood-sick creatures searches for it's sacrifice Through the hideous darkness, it lurches, driven by death itself Only the satisfaction of slaughter will cause it to return to The darkness from which it came"

U2 or Green Day anyone?
U2 isn't too bad. Some of their newer stuff is a little iffy, but hey. As for Green Day. I've always been a big fan of Green Day, ever since Dookie. Their new stuff is still good. AND IT"S NOT EMO! Gods, why do people have to say that? So they've matured a little, so what? Everyone grows up a bit. I mean, billy Joe is married and has a kid, for crying out loud! Now, for the political aspect. True punk has always been political. The entire American Idiot album is about the US in the aftermath of 9/11. The reason that they 'sold out', or gave their music a more 'mainstream' sound, was to have their thoughts heard by a wider audience. Unfortunately, due to the lack of intellect that the majority of the world has, it didn't do much good. It went straight over the teenyboppers' heads. Next time you listen to "Wake Me Up When September Ends", do so very closely.
