I think you are over-reacting. He got only 1 free month, because he let his membership run out. As I understand, whats this month is up he will have to pay membership like everyone else. And as I understand it, we're talking about a potential of hundreds of thousands of players getting screwed a month of free membership they were supposed to receive. But didn't...because they decided to just pay for months in advanced.

Better be staking high, otherwise the constant need to charge the staff wouldn't be worth it.

wait, if you let your membership run out it removes you from the hiscores? No, my memberships expired and i'm just using the free march month before re-subbing and i'm still on the OS highscores... Maybe it'l change after the free month though... I dunno what free month means but if you have access to p2p content under the free month then I'm sure that would include hiscores... Which shows nothing if F2P players remain on the highscores. Anyone who voted on the poll gets 'free' access to OSR no matter their P2P status until the end of march. My membership expired but I cant still play OSR, just not EOC. My character is still on the EOC highscores also... Wait...WHAT?! So, you technically have NO MEMBERSHIP. You aren't able to use Member EoC worlds, but you're able to use OS servers? How? That "free month" was only given out under the assumption that they would be charging more to use the OS servers. So instead of added the OS additional fee of like...6 dollars or something, you don't have to pay that fee. But as I understood it, you still needed to be a member to access the servers. Now...since they decided to extend this "No additional Fee" thing for 6 months, I assumed this was no longer a thing... If it still is...and you have no membership, but still using the servers, isn't that extremely unfair to everyone ELSE who voted, but decided to just pay for more than 1 month of membership?

Sometimes they do. To answer why I don't want to use the tele, it's because I don't have a lot of money, and I'd prefer to just get the faster XP from East Lighting.

So pretty simple...where's the best place to make lines of fires? Back when I was getting 99 fm in like...2009 or something, I lit fires at the GE, east-lighting 13 logs, and normal lighting the rest, so that my line of fires started and ended at the bank. Now, obviously the GE isn't there, and the next best place I knew to do this was the Ogre Resort with the Mud Baths, which also doesn't exist. So where's the best place to light fires in the OS servers with minimal Run-to-bank distance?

By looking in your Combat Options tab. Hovering your mouse over the options tells you what weapon style it's using and what it trains.

Both the Longsword and the Scimitar have 3 Slash Attack options 1 for ATK xp - Accurate 1 for STR xp - Agressive 1 for DEF xp - Defensive And they both have a stab option which trains on controlled.

Trying to MAKE them rare wouldn't help as much as you would think. Make them a Rare TT item, and guess what EVERYONE is going to be doing for awhile..... People will try to hoard them this time around, which will inevitably lower it's value because people will get the set for themselves, save it thinking it'll be worth a lot, then come to find that everyone else had the same idea, and already has them, so don't need to buy them. The only way you can FORCE them to be rare, is have a physical limited supply, like...1,000 total thrown into clues, and once they're gotten, they're gone. Which I personally don't agree with doing either.

Discontinued Rares wouldn't really work this time around. When they ORIGINALLY dropped, no one stopped to think about them, they were in general stores, left on the ground, people had hundreds for no reason. Part of what made them Rare was that they were assumed to be worthless in the first place, therefore not kept. Time clearly has disproved this, and they became the most valuable items in the game. If they were added NOW, everyone would know they were going to be valuable, and they'd try to hoard them, everyone would go get them because they believe it'll be worth a lot. .....Except this time they wouldn't be because everyone kept them under this assumption. To give you a literal answer to your Thread Title. NO, they are not a necessity, not in any way, whatsoever.

The problem with GWD, especially if you're going to compare it with DKS, is that it heavily favored a single class of combat, so much so that if you weren't using these new items, you weren't being efficient in the game anymore. With DKs, there was something for everyone And while they (the rings) were the BEST to have, you weren't put at a major disadvantage if you didn't buy it because they weren't THAT good.

You'd actually want GP to LOOSE worth for something like this. And I'm not Too worried about it, since in the long run, knowing me, I'll actually USE the stuff I get from the kingdom. Probably sell the good seeds I get though.

I'm pretty sure a Salve(e) + Neit helm is better than Black Mask + Fury isn't it? Though there's not many Undeads you'll killing for slayer, the most notable one is Aberrant Spectres, which you can't use the mask for anyways.

Black mask does NOT boost Range or Magic, that's why they added the Hexcrest and Focus sight years later Farsser is just a few atk points better than Mystic, and has a fair amount more defense (for a mage item anyways) The gloves from Family Crest don't do anything for BLAST spells, so Dragon Gloves would be better

So put max workers on maples, and the rest on Coal (do you even have extra workers from Only Throne to Misc?)

I plan to do Throne to Miscilania soon, and I would like to know what's the best to put the workers on at the moment. I was assuming Coal and Maple Trees, but is this wrong?

You assume I'm asking for an Imediate update, I am not. I'm speaking for the game as a whole, and for the future it will have. What good does it do to wait until it's a problem, when we can discuss a fix for the problem before it happens? In what way would it offset the economy? (inb4 you mention the armor and swords, both of which I talked about earlier and how I didn't support them being included anyways)
