Ugh, :evil: I've been working towards a santa for months now (I'm horrible with cash making and horribly unlucky with drops, I've made about 300k so far) and now i'll look like a :^o I'm probably making cash at about the same pace that the price is rising... Edit: And before the "noob, you can't make cash lololol" starts flying, i've also been spending a lot of that time catching chompies and jubblies (i've got, combined, almost 700) that i'm dropping on thanksgiving (because players love free stuff, and so many people complain about no thanksgiving update) so the whole fletching and catching thing is taking up most of my time on runescape

I'm the only one at my school who plays runescape, those who know either don't care (friends) or make fun of me for it. Unfortunately for them, they also attempt to be politically correct all the time. I don't. Therefore I'm not going to repeat some of the more personal things I tell them that make them walk away with their head low.

Correct me if i'm wrong, but I think the story was supposed to be folk tales (IE: Like the legend of horses in runescape)

Funny how many of these dreams would be crushed when the people realize: Jagex staff Moderators CANNOT trade items or money with other players under any circumstances or for any reason. Jagex staff moderators are unattackable and therefore cannot be fought or duelled. Thus: Spawning money would be worthless, as would be dropping those whips in lumbridge. Anyway, I'd use my powers to mute people spamming in catherby, and i'd go on a spree banning people in f2p who are scamming.

You have to think of the structure as school. F2p is like a mix of elementary and middle school. Elementary because it's where players learn a lot about the game (Where everything is, for example) and middle school because there are some brutal people (verbally and morally) just as I witnessed in middle school. P2p is like highschool and college. Highschool because the people there are experienced, most know what they're going to be doing when they get there (mage, ranger, melee, all 3, noncombat) and College because you've got all the high class, hot shot players who have their own hangout spots (barrows, kalphite queen, dagganoth kings, etc)

about 150k to get to 29 construction (just enough that i'm still not on the highscores) Edit: Once Tears of Guthix works for construction, i'll be leveling like mad. When I did tears for crafting fletching and farming (which were in the 30's) i'd sometimes gain 2 levels at once.

"Deserve" is such a strong word to use in this thread. What exactly qualifies you to say "I deserve X amount of money because I (Got hacked) (Am poor) (etc)"? I play runescape as most japan-based tv anime: I'm usually completely poor 99% of the time. I like getting my own resources, which usually means taking the long road of leveling up to get there (I've never used my staff of iban, despite the fact that I finished the quest well close to a year ago. I can't make death runes yet). Do I deserve free money? Of course not. I deserve what I work for (or what I get out of the lack of work). I don't mooch off of other players (I went to draynor to do tears of guthix last week, I saw a bunch of players standing next to Juna saying stuff like "Hurry up and die" to the players who were doing the minigame. So, whoever you give (whatever quantity) to, I hope you pick someone who isn't just here for some quick cash.

Ok, let's just take everyone's skills (except combat, like you said) And make them choose 5 of the following: Prayer, Cooking ,Woodcutting, Fletching, Fishing, Firemaking, Crafting, Smithing, Mining, Herblore, Agility, Thieving, Slayer, Farming, Runecrafting. If I had to choose 5 skills to keep (and drop the others) I'd quit. Don't care how many more skills Jagex came out with, I would quit. The only players that would be left in runescape would be those with pures. The skill restrictions are one of the major factors of why I chose runescape over others MMO's. If the position had been changed (Runescape being 15 dollars and others being 5) I would easily pay more for runescape.

Same here. I know that the events are random, but it is definitely not distributed evenly among players. I personally have not gotten most of the random events...ever. And i've been playing rs2 since it came out.

I highly doubt this would count as 3rd party software, since there are many highscore websites that use the same techinique to make you those flashy sigs you love so much.

That's a pointless argument. That would me like me going over to Id Software and demanding they give me Doom3 for free because I can't afford the retail version.

true man, but you are also the first person to have my veiw that carpentry and POHs are gonna be an add on to the crafting skill. thats what my moneys on, any takers? You should count your bucks then, because Jagex already announced it's going to be an entirely new skill.
