Did you use Cheats? There was a rumour which I believe is true that if you use like 1000 cheats or something the disc automatically destroys it's data I bought 2 and both had same problems 3 of my friend had same problem and 1 friend of a friend had same problem. Note - I think only if you save if you made cheats I think you can play with cheat but without saving
