You are a very lucky person. My life situation was very odd, and because of that, my personality in real life suffered. I was a loner, I was anorexic, I never stood up for myself. Having the internet as a mask allowed me to express the person I wanted to be back then. Slowly, as I worked my way up in Tipit, I made my RL self better. Making friends with people on the boards helped me to speak to people, and express what I was thinking. Moderating the boards helped me have a voice over other people. Working on the crew put me into a group environment with tasks to do with other people. I had to coordinate my efforts with what other people did. Managing the crew gave me a position where I had to make decisions. I had to have other people work, and deal with any problems that came up. I'm a completely different person than I would have been if I didn't have tipit. I was always the same person, but misplaced was a stronger, more capable version.

Exactly what I was thinking, except put much more eloquently than I ever could have.

Before I even get started, I know I have to have a disclaimer to beat away a few of the noobs from this post. DISCLAIMER: I am not talking about account/password sharing on Runescape. All right, that's out of the way. Suppose you meet this special someone, and you two hit it off and start dating. Do you ever give them your passwords to things online, or do you keep it to yourself? Why? I want to admit it. Being misplacedme is a very nice way for me to be the person I use to wish to be. Hiding behind the screen, I could be bolder than my real life counterpart, or lead a small group of people on a single task. To give away my password to someone was to give away my identity. To allow them to be me. If they wanted to, they could completely change who everyone thought I was. Naturally, I never thought I would give away my password. So, what about you? Would you ever give up your identity that way?

Noone's mentioned this comic yet, so I would like to throw out that asofterworld is really good. It's not a humor comic, but it's really good. It's supposedly updated Mondays, Wensdays, and Fridays, but it's easier to just come in on Saturday and see if there are updates because their not very punctual. A comic that doesn't get updated anymore, but had a great idea behind it was whispered apologies. A random artist would send in their picture, and a writer would add the words to it. I thought it was great, but all the people who did it are too busy now :( I also read penny arcade and ctrlaltdel whenever their updated, and white ninja when I get bored.

Lets see, 18... If I remember right, I had been at work for 7 hour so far, and had another 10 hour to go untill I was able to leave. I doubt I was doing much, most likely telling other people what to do. 21 happened just a couple of months ago. I woke up at 6:00 that morning, and cleaned theaters. I think I found a pyramid of popcorn tubs that day.

This week, we have two Times articles in our packed issue. The first, "Clans - A personal view from a Tipit-er " is by a Panel writer, Ts_stormrage. The next, "A Letter to Jagex" is by one of our own forum mods, turtlefemm. Hope you enjoy them.

I doubt that it was done to spite you. While I was trying to get 99 thieving, I only checked the last sarcophagus that I could. The others would slow my thieving, and had a smaller chance of giving the sceptar. Plus, the scarabs from the chest hurt more than the mummy.

MPM replied to MPM's topic in Tip.Iters Events, Groups, and Teams
Counter is fixed now. I don't know how that happened :| And yes, that is my half shield collection from the shield of arrav. -
Nope, I saw a guard advertising a 968m drop party in Falador, W2. Went there, and there was nothing at all in the box.
-
Definately not a bug. Dragon boots high alch for only 12k, the other rune items alch for a lot more.

10m+ gp drop party! Possibly weekly.

Eeps, thanks Mirror :) I'm only dropping 10m or so of the items, not the cash. That bank picture is just so you can get a general idea of what's possible this time. -
EDIT: Party over, havn't had time for more yet.
-
I had the bright idea of moving this before releasing it... Smart huh :P

Wow, we're up to letter 11 now :| Well, check out this weeks group of letters, and enjoy. Letters to the editor #11 This weeks issue has 3 letters, rather than the standard 2. To please the few that have been saying that the articles and letters have been too short recently.

Game is over, sorry to those still hunting. I had to do work :( [hide]Well, it appears that I am misplaced, but at least I won't go thirsty. Come find me on world 87 for a prize! Clanchat Misplacedme will be open if you want.[/hide]

The website lied to me. First submission, I was told that it wasn't saved and I didn't check. Silly meh.

Supposing you are actually able to hold a drop party without hundreds of strangers showing up, what items would you love to see in it? Break it down by f2p and p2p if possible ;)

This post is, of course, inspired by Trapicals amazing fundraiser the other week. Now, the main section of winter holidays is over, and a lot of people have a little money laying around in their pockets. There are millions of people in the world that don't have the advantages that you and I have, and even the littlest bit would help them out. I have a short list of groups that can always use a little more help. If you don't have money you can donate, sometimes time is just as valuable. Malaria Foundation International: The best way to explain the problem of malaria is to link to [Malaria] International Youth Foundation: Children are the future of the world, and many do not have the opportunities that we(the online community) do. This foundation helps influence the lives of children and encourages them to become outstanding citizens of their country and role models to others. Project Hope: Project hope is a long standing foundation that provides medical help to developing countries. They provide medical supplies, and well as teach the citizens habits that will prevent sickness. Freerice If it's impossible for you to donate time or money, this site will give 20 grains of rice for every vocabulary word you answer correctly. There are hundreds of other groups that provide help or services for anything you can imagine. If the three above do not appear to support something you care about, look around. You will find one. And to show that I'm not just blowing steam, and encouraging you to do something I wouldn't do myself: Minors: Please obtain a parent's permission before using their credit cards.

I agree, this sounds like a minigame where the winner gets to have control over more general things in the game. However... How exactly do you control the market prices, if the market prices are the amounts people are willing to buy/sell?
