Hey Adam :) Right now, the site is being created with a layout that is directly copied from PHPBB's prosilver templates. I know I don't use all of their stylesheet, but I havn't narrowed down what I'm using yet, so I can't suggest making a colour scheme yet :\ Feel free to toss me anything you think of though. Once I get some of my messy stuff cleaned up, we can work and get a couple of stylesheets ready so they aren't stuck with just one set of colours.

Hey there. I'm currently working on a mechscape tip site (entirely unrelated to tip.it). What tools do you think this site is going to need, both common and uncommon. This is definatly going to have the same stuff tip.it has, but there can always be room to add on. 1: Monster/item/npc/shop/quest database all linked together. If an item is added to the database, a monster can instantly have that item added to it from a quick menu. 2: Guides in book style. You can load the whole guide and get the basic walkthrough, or you can load the current section and get details and story. 3: Database managed calculators that may possibly give cost/profit totals. 4: Site+Community merged. It will have the same style member/crew structure as tip.it, but community members will have easy way to suggest changes, and notes on all changes(however little) will be posted somewhere. Thanks to anyone who provides a little input/sugguestion. If it seems like it would be entirely off the wall to implement, still suggest it. It's just luck, there's no line of sight when it comes to thieving. Personally, I prefer staring my knight in the face while I deftly reach my hands into it's metal pockets and take the money out.

Having a couple extra slots won't change the game or economy in any way. Rsc had 30 slots, if I remember right. 5 of these slots were used up with armour, so you really had only 25. After rs2 was released, the only item that had a big change in price was the rune 2 hander and the rune plate. 2 hander dropped, plate increased. At that time, rune ore was THE money maker. 3 extra slots would bring a rune miner an extra 60-100k if they knew what they were doing, and even those didn't decrease the price.

I'll try to find something on this, and add it in as an Edit. But I know there's truth in it. (Perhaps not in the amount, though. Firstly... your resume should be typed and not hand written. Seconded. Your employer will wonder if you're even able to use a computer correctly if you can't even type a resume. Don't worry, most of the group will grow out of it by the time their 16. Speaking from experience, don't even bother. Unless you have a unique drop shipper, then you won't make any money. Every drop shipper that you find will be saturated to the point that you will only make something around a 10 cent profit ever item you sell. Not only that, but drop shippers are very unreliable, and if a customer has a problem with an item, it takes double time to get everything resolved. You sound like you have no idea what your doing, and that's more than enough reason to keep away from it. If you sell something, know as much about it as possible, don't go onto a forum and ask what's sold the most. Btw, on that note, check out ebay trends... It shows the most search for items in each section. My personal thought on the drop shipping opportunities you get is that they are nothing but get rich quickly ventures. Sure, you may land the big one, but you would have to be super lucky to do that. Also, don't bother with trying to import stuff as well. I imported flash drives into the US for resale. I made a total of $100 profit off of 50.... You have to have a lot of startup to actually get wholesaling worth your while.

If you''e listening to a political debate, and one of the the candidates is speaking Jive, while the other is speaking proper English, who would you be rooting for? The person who speaks properly. To some extent, this includes spelling. Everyone has a few words that they just can't help, but to misspell. But when you go as far as to have a spelling mistake every three words, even when most browsers have a spell check function in it, you're going too far.

30,000 isn't that bad, if you go by my method of counting words(numchars/5) then I write about 20k words a day. So... How exactly are you going to calculate the number of words? Different versions of word will give a different count, and I know that my copy of open office never matches the number of words in microsoft office.

This all comes back to the question "Is it nature or nurture that determines who you are." I believe it's both. You are born with a pre-determined disposition. That's why you have some quiet, happy babies and other loud, upset babies. While you're growing up, your parents transfer their moral beliefs on you. You take some of them, and discard others depending on what your disposition is. If you have bad parents who don't teach you right from wrong, then yes, you may get some of the wrong standards from movies and games, but it is easily prevented by parenting. The reason movies and video games are called the root of violence is because parents wont step up and take responsibility for their children.

When you're young, it's going to be very hard to find work that you will like whole lot. You don't have work experience, so you can't show that you are a good worker. You don't have life experience, because you haven't had the opportunity. And, your young, and you will probably will be more interested in having fun and being with your friends. (All generalized based on what I've seen when hiring young people) When looking for a new job, only pick fast food as a last resort. Not only is it terrible food, but you have to deal with managers that don't know what their doing because they've only worked there for a few months, and got hired because they stuck around and other crew people who aren't the good workers. Head to your downtown area. Get a job as a waiter, or a secretary, or whatever is available at the time. And definatly talk to your boss and tell them that your quitting. It shows that you have enough character to speak directly to them instead of through a phone or a letter.

I heard this said way back in rsc, back when all there was to burn was regular logs. Not much has changed since then.
