When we go abroad to places like greece, turkey, canary islands etc, we have to buy bottled water because the water there has different minerals in and makes you unwell if you drink from the tap. However, its about ÃÆââ¬Å¡Ãâã0.30 a litre so it's not a big loss at all. water prices over here are a joke..

My friend pays ÃÆââ¬Å¡Ãâã0.90 for a bottle of volvic mineral water saying its better for you than cola. I dont get why he doesnt buy a can of fruit juice for ÃÆââ¬Å¡Ãâã0.60...

Remember i'm on a budget here man, you've posted some pretty expensive stuff, especially ÃÆââ¬Å¡Ãâã40 for a power supply... I'm not all that big on a good gfx card, i just need something to run the games I play, i'm not a big gamer...my main interest is to run audio applications, so that's why I genuinely need a good cpu/ram setup...

It would be easy for me to quit, but my friends always drag me outside to stand with them whilst they smoke. so it's either sit on my own or go outside - and usually end up nicking hand drags off people.

I want to upgrade my computer. Either that or build a new one. Currently running: AMD Athlon 2400+ 512mb Crucial RAM Onboard VGA Graphics 80gb SATA HD Asus A7SC motherboard My needs are mostly just a better processer, more ram (1gb or 2gb), pci slot for my soundcard, usb's, decent cooling system, card reader. that's about it as i'm fine with my current hard drive and not sure if i need to upgrade my mobo and just bought a new monitor. the problem is my current mobo seems incapable of running a professional sound card as it's a barebones system, and I need seperate stereo outs, non of that minijack crap... if anyone can recommend me budget parts, that would be great, and tell me what I can carry on using from my current set up :) I would like to go for, specs wise (using EBuyer for this): AMD Sempron 64bit 3400+ (2.0ghz) 1gb Crucial RAM (2x 512 or 1x 1gb?) Im not exactely a non-conformist but im 17 doing 3 days a week at college and spending the rest hanging out and writing music. it will benefit me one day. :) im often late to class, lazy, arguementative etc...thats a personal thing tho, not exactely a non conformist :) would never really be like yeahhh screw the system wooo!

as it turns out my motherboard is what's causing my problems and i can't replace it because i'm using a barebones system. I need a soundcard, PREFERABLY WITH: STEREO in's and outs, using female phono connectors. the red and white things. 48khz and preferably 24bit sound quality PCI compatible. not usb unless the latency is low. http://www.maudio.co.uk/products/en_gb/ ... -main.html this is the card I bought, just can't use this one!
