External Disk drive, will it work?
I would, USB drives basically have crap read speeds so it'll be worth spending the extra bit of cash to get a new one fitted if you don't know how yourself :)

Is Racist Prejudism Always Unjust?
Well, they do have the reputation for it. Most of the areas populated by asians and blacks around here are really rough, and many when I drive past them have signs up saying "robbers are active in this area," so they're obviously high crime areas. I hate to be branded a racist but it's true, a lot of the minority areas here are heavy on the crime front, and that's why racial profiling exists. A lot of immigrants, legal or otherwise, rely on benefits, and because it's not enough for them, they simply steal what they want.

Donating blood?
I think im an a+, so no worries ;)

Is Racist Prejudism Always Unjust?
The thing is, it's not all muslims that are giving them a bad reputation, it's a select group and they're all bearing the grunt for it. It takes a lifetime to build a reputation and a few seconds to destroy it...

Donating blood?
yeah, tensing up just before the needle hits causes you a lot more pain, so its best not to look so you dont tense/flinch and end up in a lot more pain. Besides, its over by the time you feel it if you don't look :)

Is Racist Prejudism Always Unjust?
Everything's racist these days. On Sunday I went into Birmingham City Centre to shop and an asian woman wearing one of those religious headscarf things was caught stealing from a sports shop. She tried to deny it and said they were racist, but it's not racist, it's arresting a fricken criminal for stealing. Whilst the police search male 20 year old muslims on the london underground, I bet they search a lot of 20 year old whites, blacks and chinese too. Say in your lifetime you'd been bitten badly 3 times by dogs, but never touched by a cat. You wouldn't worry about stroking the cat, but the dog you'd probably be afraid of. That's why they search people in their 20s and teens, cause they're the ones who commit crimes most.

Donating blood?
Nice one, thats a really respectable thing to do :) I've considered giving blood before but can't for 2 reasons - not only am I absolutely terrified of injections/needles, but I have some genetic disorder or something that causes me to faint. Which kinda sucks, cos I would've liked to have helped out.

How can we rid the world of terrorism?
Please define us a terrorist. Is it an iraqian who rises his gun towars people who are trying to take over their land or is it an american who tries to take over their land? I'd define terrorist as one of the extremists who has contributed in killing some 33k people in the middle east killing innocent civilians with car bombs, the twin towers bombers, london bus suicide bombers, etc. I can't say much about foreign counties because i havn't been there so quite simply I don't know what goes on there. The UK is constantly under terrorist threat and it pisses me off big time when their reasons for doing it are killing people not of their religion. I'm not a racist person, one of my best mates is a sikh and religious, and i've heard the same old thing from every one of them i've met, extremists ruin it for everyone. He told me once that martyrdom came about - and im reciting this from memory because it was a while back - because when troops were invading from another country, some kid strapped explosives to himself, jumped on a tank, and essentially held back the invasion, at least for a while. He said that most religious types believe that they'll get into heaven if they kill innocent civilians with suicide bombs; he went on to tell me that both murder AND suicide are forbidden by that religion so it's a lost cause. The kid who jumped on a tank with explosives died for his faith, saving lives and becoming a hero. The difference was he died fighting for his religion, so it wasn't seen as suicide (even though some might argue it technically was.) But from what I gather from my mate, people are just getting desperate...

Anyone listen to Linkin Park?
They're not bad. Shame the music spawned so many what are now known as emo kids. Used to just be depressing cretins with band hoodys on before... :P Their Reanimation album is awesome.

All Killer, No Filler
Yeah they do, hah... "The band's name is a sort-of homage to Alexis Fire, who claimed to be the world's only lactating contortionist stripper"

Yawn, A Sleeping Thread
Used to be the same as you with sleep... I can never sleep anymore if there's something on my mind, cos when I try, it winds me up big time. Usually just tire myself out by 11pm, get in bed and close my eyes. I usually flicker my eyes a lot as to maknd it seeme them heavy :P Although... When I was 13/14 or so I had really bad sleep patterns and not by choice either, they were insane: bed at 7pm, wake up at 5am, bed at 2am, wake up at midday, etc. So needless to say i've 'found a lot of ways of making myself sleepy. :) - Horlicks/Warm cream/milk. Nackers me out a treat. - Physical exercise ~1hour before bed. It'll give you enough time to wind down after and because it's late at night you don't seem to recover from tiring yourself out. - Think about tomorrow. Plan out what you're gonna do, when your gonna do it, etc...but don't worry about things! :) - Soothing music before bedtime, no music ~20mins before sleep. I recommend Explosions In The Sky :) - Go to bed at a sensible time and wake up at a sensible time! Try and get ~9 hours sleep a night and you'll wake up fine :)

Should AUS and NZ remove the Union Jack from their flag?
Australia isnt full of british convicts you know :shame: most of now have migrant blood from coun Australia has much more British Migrants than other areas such as Asia and Greece. Although it is hard to believe, knowing how many of them we have over here , it is true. i didnt say anything about convicts, i said a lot of people who migrated there were originally British - convicts or otherwise ;) - and thats why the flag's on there

Runescape ruining the world
I think someone just wasted money on a domain and time by writing that. Ironic that they're telling people to get a life but they had time to do that. Seems they also develop apps for runescape....mmm

Should AUS and NZ remove the Union Jack from their flag?
As a brit, I think it should stay, because from what I gather Aus is basically people originating from Britain, and its important to stick to your roots. Not long ago they tried to add black stripes into the UK flag because of how multicultural it is, its an absolute joke. So yeah, I think aus should stick to its roots, god knows i'd prefer to live there than here!...at least, as long as you stop calling us Poms ;)

Planning my 18th birthday party (help me!)
Ding dong, i'm almost 18 (march 10th) I've been to a couple of 18th parties and to be honest they were a bit crap. The DJ played terrible music, the bar was expensive, it was in a rough area, loads of chavs walking in etc etc. So i'm looking for ideas for a good 18th. My plan so far is... Hire the social club 10 mins down the road - cheap bar, nice surroundings, place to set up. Hire a PA system and burn CD's of music i like for the night, and change them after each one. = Good music all night, no abba megamixes or anything. Invite only. (+1 for everyone) Buffet. Loads of chicken drummers, sausage rolls, mini pizza etc. But dont waste money on anything nasty. I'm pretty sure this will result in a good night out. I don't want an 18th where I just go to some 80s club up town and end up drowning in my own vomit after an hour because I won't enjoy it, I want an 18th i'll remember and cherish and mostly just want it to be loads of fun for me and all my mates! So. any ideas? :)
