  1. there's a noticable difference between the two, mostly that - sorry to stereotype btw - post hardcore has more emo and punk influences (often more melodic and emotional) whereas metalcore is usually less melodic, harder, and with er, metal influences. hahah. anyway, Alexisonfire are one of my favourite bands, not sure if funeral for a friend fit that genre but i love them aswell :]
  2. Out of all those i've heard played, Jackson were the best.

Meh, got bored of these after scary movie 2...novelty kind of wore off on the next two. it's blatantly just gonna be full of immature, bland, predictable jokes.
  4. hahah. yea couldnt watch it too many times :s i just liked it cos it was incredibly cheesey. :]
  5. Well, I broke my smoking one about 20 hours after I made it. crap. What resolutions have you broke so far?
  6. Im gonna skip to the point, so take your flaming elsewhere ;) Anyone watched it? I thought it was great :D
  7. I really enjoyed Tom Hanks in Forrest Gump and Bruce Campbell in Evil Dead Trilogy :)

looked god damn amazing when i saw the trailer at the cinemas, as matt said due to the rotoscoping. didnt actually realise it had come out though, and when i went to see it it was too late! gonna watch it on dvd for sure :)
  9. thay broke up? i didnt know. why? They havn't broke up, they're just having a break from writing/touring. Answers.com: July 8, while playing Lonely Day, Malakian improvised the lyrics to, "Such a lonely day, with the band/I love these guys right here."[1] Tankian quickly followed that by stating "everybody should mind their own business!" During their performance in Houston, Malakian also took a moment to say, "There's been a lot of rumors about us breaking up. Well don't f**king listen to them. Us four right here, we will always be System of a Down!"
  10. RATM are an amazin band, got a bunch of their albums, their message is more important than the music really. And yeah as said, I wouldn't call RHCP metal in any way. Wonder what Primus would be classed as? but yeah, its good, definately different so maybe it's better if it's not so popular. we saw a local band called Interflare (nearly wrote incubus by accident then) and they were kinda funk with indie and hiphop sorta influences, amazing stuff.
  11. When I saw Breed 77 there was some hardcore kid with a bring me the horizon hoody on and a bandana around his jaw. it's hard to look hardcore when his idea of moshing was running into the middle and actaully physically phag-slapping people. & by Emo-Moshing knives669 means Hardcore Dancing. which yep, is insanely stupid imo, especially cause the majority of kids i've seen doing it would probably be dropped in a punch if someone hit them :P the wall of death is fun. but only once every so often, hahah. the same old moshing crap is just boring and if you've paid ̢̮â¬Å¡Ãâã12 to watch a band i'd rather watch the band... once, some girl was hardcore dancing infront of me and hit me in the balls. so i tripped that (female dog) over and kicked her in the head. die emo die!
  12. Jimmy Eat World - Work :) Just was listening to it a lot around the time we first met, played it to her and it just kinda became our song :]
  13. wheeyyy! skanking :) it's a full body workout
  14. Yeah well I mean, a physical one :)
  15. spot on, hahah. guarunteed there would be almost no immaturity if there was a smack-in-the-face option on forums :P
  16. We always have a ham and a turkey, like most people. Every xmas eve we go to a party up the road from us to tide us over til xmas day so we're not waiting about for it. Xmas day we open our presents and have the entire family round ( :| ) then just generally get wasted and eat ourselves stupid. We always make chocolate truffles too, I sorted that one out yesterday :) Other than that we don't really have anything else.
  17. I eat meat. Not really eggs, think they're pretty disgusting on account of it being an unborn chicken foetus :/ Fair play to vegetarians and vegans, up to them if they don't want to eat meat/dairy etc. just not my choice :)
  18. 28 weeks later, definately. Resident Evil 3, Day of the Dead, maybe sin city 2 if it's not crap. Also, is that Rambo movie a joke? :/ Also, anyone notice that every movie on that list is a sequel? ;/
  19. Does moshing really make for a good gig/concert? I've been to a tonne of metal gigs and sometimes I get right into the whole moshing thing, but sometimes it just gets on my nerves... I'm torn on it. It can be annoying as hell but sometimes it's good fun..but i've noticed, sometimes it's a lot more fun to just dance around like a pillock. What're your views? :)
  20. 6ft here...

there's something out there no doubt. i just doubt we'll ever be able to find and/or communicate with it. i think we'll find amoebas and crap before we find any intelligent lifeforms.
