  2. im not fond on old music...ocean colour scene count? hahah
  3. probably Fightstar for the fact that everyone i've asked has said ergh its that fathead with the fat eyebrows from busted, but their music is actually pretty good. they're not amazing, but they're definately underrated imo.

  5. not in england it's not, hahah...we took reading tests in year 7 (aged 12) and i got 15 years 9 months, top grade we could get... 3/4 of the year didn't even reach that by the end of year 11 (leaving year) i went to a good school, and it was full of neds.

yeah its just shorthand. woopidoo2 is talking about hardcore dance... i love it, it's awesome music. it's hard and intense, makes me wanna go mental... in 1993 there was an event called Tunnel of Terror. it was a huge tunnel, about 8ft wide both sides but insanely long, filled with speakers in the walls and strobes. music poured out for hours and hours...it's all about the intensity. It's got a load of sub genres and its called Gabba pretty much everywhere but holland (mostly US/UK whereas the dutch stick to hardcore.) some sub genres: terrorcore, darkcore, speedcore. notable artists: Rotterdam Terror Corps, Masters of Ceremonies, Paul Elstak, Ophidian, Neophyte, Evil Activities.... 7. Our roads are small. :) id take a mini over an SUV anyday!
  8. actually, i think... ask one guy if he's standing by the green ask the other guy if he's standing by the red. pretty sure that'd work... failing that, ask them where the green pole leads to and see which is lieing?
  9. id just risk it, 50/50 shot i guess.
  10. err, my gcse's (the main ones) A* Eng Lit B Eng Lang CC Science C Maths C Statistics B Music D R.E D Food Technology E French B History really don't care about failing my below c's, hated all those subjects anyway. i'm hitting merits/distinctions per assignment in music technology now :)

  14. yeah, best bet is to try and get a good condition second hand one as matt said. other than that, the larger GAME stores are good for retro systems and games if there's one where you live.

  17. how old are you exactely? you can talk to social services and the authorities if she's breaking the law. seems if she's commited theft and isn't looking after you properly, you should phone someone who can do something...then again, I suppose it's a case of weather you want to tell them cause your mom could go to prison for it, lol...
  18. Futurama replied to Youaretheman's topic in Off-Topic
hahah was talking to this about my mom not long ago actually and she started saying "they should be bloody locked up, theyre sick in the head" so i said. well not really, criminals should be locked up who batter old women and hold up shops with shotguns. all they've done is make a film, noone's forcing you to watch it. "...bloody filth" she replied. hahah.
  19. mmmm bop.
  20. I wouldnt mind but they've had two albums and theyre acting like Queen or something. the singer, sorry but he looks like a bell end. id be embarrased to be in that band with him. props to ginger afro man though. heavily overrated song. havn't heard the album, don't want to - musically theyre not bad, but the singer has such a crap voice.
  21. guess it depends really. id just go for the general sound of the voice... George Pettit from Alexisonfire is a personal favourite of mine, like his voice, the way it compliments the music, specially on their Crisis album. Howard Jones from Killswitch engage has an awesome voice too, especially when they play live. shame he pretty much blew his voice out though, barely any screaming on their new album...

i doubt it'll be as bad as everyone is making out, some moments in saw 2 (the arm trap thingy near the end, and the pit of needles) were a bit cringe worthy but otherwise i didnt really turn an eye, nor to anything in hostel. itll be a good movie no doubt, 1 and 2 were amazing, but is it really that gory? i've heard they had ambulances at the cinemas in town on release night because people were throwing up and passing out...then again gore never really bothered me in movies.
  23. zelda minish cap and mario bros 2 werw awesome.
  24. usually, the musicians i do. once there was a guy in bromsgrove who had come back from the army and found out his family had moved. he was pan handling to get transport to go and live with them and survive til he could...i gave him a pastie from greggs and some cash :) but some people just sit there, not speaking a word of english and selling the big issue...no sympathy, sorry

hey peeps :] basically i'm studying music tech and we've formed a band and are writing some tracks to perform at the end of the college year. however, im doing the studio mixing/computer work basically, and playing the piano for 1 or 2 tracks - for the rest, I need to find ways to perform live with the band. We have 2 guitarists, a bassist and a drummer and me. We play a kinda metal/southern rock style. What im talking about is hardware effects and stuff. I can: Use most hardware synthesizers and digital effects Scream & Backing Sing Play piano and keyboards Play percussion (but we already have a drummer, im thinking maybe some extra percussion in tracks) Im very musically versatile as you can see - but I just basically need ideas. I want it to be musically interesting - went to see The Automatic yesterday and their guy was screaming, playing a Roland, playing a cowbell whilst running up and down stage, etc...something liek that. Im also thinking costumes and stuff - im thinking of spraying my hair over with blue and glitter, not in a crap way, just so it looks awesome on stage. im also thinking of what to wear, etc...dont wanna look like a poser, just something awesome looking. ideas? :)
