Depends on what you'd call hard I guess, but there's not much soft about songs like Devil and the Deep Dark Ocean, Romanticide or Dark Chest of Wonders. True, but I still wouldn't call them hard metal. 50% soft 50% hard then lol. hard metal/hard rock is music u can build a pit on like slayer, i never pitted on nightwish #-o

Lol, not chick band :S Only the vocalist is a girl, they had two eps before origin :S only 100 copies made of them i think. But still, woohoo another fan :D They've been labelled as a chick band though lol, 9 out of 10 guys don't like Evanescence (can't even spell off by heart lol). Thank you for showing me up, I've said this before and I'll say it again... You could be Amy Lee's incarnation :D. I love Nightwish also, Nemo's awesome, so is Wish I Had An Angel. well i know a band wich is pretty offensive, its a dutch grindcore band and the lyrics are dutch. the name has a female bodypart wich an very itchy illness :-s the lyrics are very weird, its about poop, getting a iron pin out of the leg of an old lady using 2 spoons, cannibalism, and lots of things i wont say or ill get banned... :boohoo: but the band is waaay to awesome when your drunk
