  1. Least favourite would me mime or gravedigger, takes annoyingly long Maze and classroom rock for the reward (more money/xp respectively)
  2. B, I find pures a waste of time (not to mention I'm not big on the pking)
  3. No RS music for me, Sun Microsystems does a terrible job at making a good Java implementation for Linux (in my opinion). There's some bug with it completely taking over the soundcard, not allowing anything else to be played so I tend to not give it any sound at all. (if this is a problem actually caused by JaGeX, then my apologies, Sun!) Not that I liked RS music much when I used to listen to it :x
  4. http://b.wardje.eu/post/494058758 and http://b.wardje.eu/post/495049186 :P Down with the iPad! Building further on the flawed design of the iPhone and its App Store gives me shivers. "For creative people, this device is nothing." as well as Tinkerer's Sunset are interesting things to read up on :)
  5. Depends on how you use it really. Coming from dial-up you'll probably feel like you're in heaven with having 5 gigs, but once that settles you'll notice more would be waaaay handier. Either way, it's moving up from dial-up, so I'd say: do it!
  6. Saying that firemaking trains slow sounds... silly :P Get someone to train with you, makes it more fun ^_^
  7. That's not too shabby, for something so simple :o
  8. Personally, I think its your choice if you want to respond or not. If Pmod did report you, they probably not going to tell that they did in the first place. Overall, the evidence is submit to Jagex to determine anyways. If you don't break any rules, you have nothing to worry about despite what anyone said. So yeah, ignore list is your best friend at avoid making confrontation I beg to differ, I still have been muted in the past for "spamming" in Clan Wars Fights "tt on person, tt on person, ...". This happened after Jagex Mods stated that such type of "spam" couldn't get you muted.
  9. If only! A few months ago we got overtaken by two clans (admitted, these are clans that also focus on P2P) Skill: Ranged ------------- 1. Reign of Terror - 96.92 2. RuneScape Dinasty - 96.38 3. The Titans - 96.22 4. Violent Resolution - 95.43 5. Future Titans - 94.97 6. Corruption - 94.65 7. Northern Gods - 94.35 8. Red Dragon Knights - 94.31 9. Divine Forces - 93.83 10. Exodus ML - 93.81 11. Echo of Silence - 93.72 12. The Rising - 93.42 13. Collision - 92.96 14. Chivalry Legions - 92.82 15. Crimson Raiders - 92.35 16. The Neggas Clan - 92.08 17. THE Clan - 91.79 18. The Runescape Warhungers Federation - 91.61 19. The Call of Legends - 91.15 20. Lithuanian Forces - 90.95 21. Wilderland Luso Brazilian Clan - 90.83 22. Solace - 90.78 23. The Moon Clan - 88.64 (I know, this list doesn't contain all clans that might be relevant, but I just add a few here and there over time to my script and been a while since last update)
  10. 120 F2P Combat, 132 P2P, my summon is 94 :P Being in a F2P clan (The Titans), I have little interest in P2P cmb lvl and find F2P cmb lvl-ups to be more important
  11. Howdy! I present to you, my 6th combat level in 3 years *drum roll* 120 Combat Pretty proud of it myself, never been a big fan of combat. Got 95 Attack, Strength and Defence as well as the combat level in one blow (the goblin stood no chance) (Note that I changed my display name to Wardi by now)
  12. We were drawn against NG in the 50v50 Tip.it Tourny and agreed on the following rules: TT vs NG Middle Bounds No corrupt No sniping 50v50 Fog and Rings allowed Melee binds and Range only. --------------------------------- TT starting: 50 (cut from 72) NG Starting: 50 (cut from 52) The fight started quite messy with NG rushing us a bit unexpected. We quickly got together and our first man tanked well. Benj was second pile and managed to outtank a few people. This maybe worked in our favour, because Brad was on fire (we peed him out, don't worry) and transitioned all over the map. TT ending: 31 NG ending: 0. Goodfight NG and Goodjob everyone! EDIT: Blatant advertising to my own topic
  13. and an anagram of the first letters is i go crap it all makes sense now! Put spoiler tags! Quickly!
  14. K, since you want some feedback, I took the time to read it more thoroughly and formulate my remarks/ideas on what is said about the memberlists. This has basically led me to register a new forum account for the sole purpose of having it publicly available to fellow officials. So my question in this case would be: - By add and delete users you mean add and delete "managers" or add and delete people from the member's list. If it's the latter, then my registering an account idea was justified, as well as it sounding a rather odd choice on your side. What exactly can these managers do then? Change ranks? Change lay out? It sounds rather unclear. In my eyes, a manager should be able to: a. add members b. delete members c. update the list d. change clanranks (leader, member, pk leader, w/e...) e. Not be allowed to fiddle with lay out and the likes. ----- What exactly is sheet specific stat tracking? Will global tracking keep the xp per member or only keep track of the averages? Will it be left to the user which intervals of the tracking he wants to check or only predetermined ranges? ----- Am curious how you plan on implementing that efficiently when (going by current pics) you allow text as the input there. Wrong wording would put many clans out, not to mention when a DB becomes huge you'll end up with a very CPU-intensive searches for just one user. Don't get me wrong, it seems like a nice idea in se, I just wonder how you'll implement that efficiently without heavily restricting what can be picked as requirements. ----- http://img32.imageshack.us/img32/6757/clansmockup.png The stats part seems placed rather low, especially if a list gets bigger and you have to end up scrolling a few pages down just to quickly check an average or the amount of members ----- The whole "apply from tip.it site" idea seems to me as a waste of expensive developer time. Only clans where you basically get auto accepted would, in my eyes, use this system since most, if not all, self-respecting clans tend to have some sort of process you need to go through and most likely will need a forum account of some sorts for. So basically only useful for big useless lists the likes of "Belgian players", etc.. ----- Is there any estimate on when this will be released? Personally I was planning on writing up a quick clan tracker for my clan but if this comes out soon (and fulfills my desires), then I won't bother. ----- Along the same lines of the previous question: are you looking for testers? I tend to see myself as someone with some experience on the matter :P Cheers, Ward The Titans Root Admin, IRC founder and scripting junkie
  15. The Titans' IRC channel is #TheTitans, not #the_titans. Also, you forgot to mention two of the clans we fought, the complete list is: Corruption, Shining Paladins, Triforce, Violent Resolution, Shadow Elves, Divine Forces, Damage Incorporated. Though they are smaller clans they certainly deserve a mention for giving it a try =D> For a complete history (as this one only cover the first year or so), I'd like to refer to this topic on our boards: http://thetitans.ipbfree.com/index.php?showtopic=2575 Cheers, Ward
  16. I'm with Paw Claw, there was so much opportunity for this subject :-k Could have been better, seems more like some sort of encouragement atm tbh -.-
  17. True, but also think that even if you use ordinary letters, A-Z, the number of combinations is 26^15. Thats......a lot. Over one and a half trillion billion combinations. Yet, 26^15 (36^15( = 221.073.919.720.733.357.899.776, about 221 sextillion) when numbers are included) is nothing compared to the normal amount of possibilities which is about: 36^5 + 36^6 + 36^7 + 36^8 + 36^9 + 36^10 + ... + 36^18 + 36^19 + 36^20 --> 36^15 divided by isn't alot, believe me \ -- On topic: Just be ad-rem, say something dumb, something out of the blue or simply come up with a genius come-back :
  18. Kiara_Kat, Don't mean to seem rude or anything with this, but could I ask you to please copy the article on Wall Street Journal's Site to this thread? :ohnoes: Not everyone has a Wall Street Journal account, and sadly, upon attempting to follow the link you provided to all of us, I was kicked out to a login screen! :boohoo: ~Mr. Devnull Was thinking about the same thing, but that also isn't legal I think :-$
  19. Duke still got it \ Although his Rares paragraph didn't seem to have a good ending :-k In my eyes #-o
