Checksum error!! WTF!
You have a lossy internet connection. Data is always sent in an error correcting code form. If bits get goofed during transmission then they can sometimes be fixed if there aren't too many that are goofed. If there are too many that are goofed then the packet must be resent. Try a different world or get another ISP.

Time for a prayer update
Who determines if it's wrong? It's a market based economy. There are worth whatever the buyer and seller agree on. There is no reason that price should track the exp given. How much is less clicking worth to a player? People were willing to pay more because, until recently, Dragon bones were the best that you could do. So, people were willing to pay more for the faster exp and less clicking.

Runescape Timeline
Sorry, but it did happen, . . . . . on RSC. http://forum.tip.it/viewtopic.php?t=101442 I was amazed when I read about it. I thought, "Sheesh, that must be almost all of the RSC players!" The RSC news is a little bit harder to keep up with...

Runescape Clock
You would still have to do a time zone conversion, but it would make it a little easier.

Should Range effect HP?
According to the poll that Jagex conducted on 01 March 2005, 63.1% of those players that had a preference for PvP vs PvM preferred player vs monster. 13% preferred PvP (3055) 13% preferred PvP with some PvM (3126) 25% had no preference (5891) 26% preferred PvM with some PvP (5932) 20% preferred PvM (4676) So, that's 10608 out of the 16789 that had a preference. Interesting poll...

Should Range effect HP?
Just to throw in a different perspective on class balance... Other MMORPGs (EQ, WOW, etc) require teamwork among the 3 classes instead of competition/PKing between the classes. So a Ranger or Mage could have very high Range or Magic ability and low hitpoints because they never are expected to engage the monster 1 on 1. They let the "tank" melee the monster while they shoot/nuke from afar. Course, if the tank ever dies... then the Ranger and Mage die quickly as well. Since Runescape is not built on class team cooperation, but rather on class competition in PKing (and endless skill grinding), the Rangers and Mages need hit points to survive.

combat skills unbalanced
My understanding of the present combat is: Attack: the higher your attack stat then the greater the chance that you will hit your enemy. Strength: the higher your strength stat then the higher the damage can be when you do hit your enemy. Defense: the higher your defense stat then the harder it is for your enemy to hit you. Hitpoints: only determines how much damage you can take before you die. So Attack and Defense determine how often you hit or get hit. Strength determines an upper limit on how high you can hit. Hitpoints determines your longevity.

I think Galaxyg should be on the list. Also, in case anyone cares; #70, 72, and 92 are F2P...
