  1. Yeah, just post times that when you look back at them, you really wonder if your brain wasnt asleep and your IQ -10. Don't make anything up, just be honest :) . And no flaming, no matter how [developmentally delayed]ed what someone said is. :evil: . I'll start out.. A couple weeks ago coming home from school, I was walking down the street to my house, from the bus. I had my hands in my pocket as I usually do, and I started feeling around for my key in my pocket. I couldn't find it in the right pocket, so I looked in my left, not there. I started getting scared that I lost it, and I was gonna end up locked out. I looked in my backpack not there, and then here's where it gets really bad- the key was in my hand the whole time. :oops: I'd just been holding it for so long that I couldn't notice i was still holding it. (know what I mean?). :oops: I don't know if any of you can honestly beat that :P

  5. I love Civ 3, but one thing I must admit that I hate, is when you are in the modern age, and every civ has a zillion units. It takes you 10 minutes to do your turn, then you have to wait another 20 minutes for all the computers to make their moves(exagerating, but it's still a long time). I don't know how you people play whole weekends, a game for me takes at the most 4 hours.
  6. anyone who wants to seriously lift, and is not just reading this thread from boredom should not take seriously 95% of waht is said. Muscle turning into fat? creatine dangerous and making you look fat? give me a break :roll: . bulk up like crazy from using creatine, if only it was that easy :roll: I'm not saying I'm a fitness expert a look at me will support this claim,. But I will also admit that I have more knowledge about the subject than most people here. I've got the knowledge, I'm just lazy. If anyone wants advice, i suggest going on http://www.bodybuilding.com , it is by far the best website for anything related to fitness and health. There are also other good websites out there, but bb.com is good to start with. If you want you can also pm me or send me a message on AIM, cuz I'm not gonna take an hour out of my time to write something which will end up getting flamed by noobs, and not being read by people who are actually looking for information.   7. the risk isn't worth the loss.. I am 6' 6" 190 lbs, you just have to eat more and healthier, you will eventually fill out wtf? creatine isn't dangerous? Find me where you read that it's dangerous.
  8. A couple months ago I was kicking around a ball with my sister barefoot, and then I kicked as hard as I could, but the thing is I didn't hit the ball, I hit the ground. A big chunk of dirt/grass flew out I collapsed on the ground, but got back up (ashamed to show I'm hurt). Then my big toe was int he worst pain ever, I could barely walk for a couple days. It still hurts if i put pressure on it :( . I think I broke it :x . It's not the only time I think I broke something but never told anyone. A couple years ago I had friends taht were in a (real) punk band, I went to one of their shows and after them another band went and we was in a pit. One of my friends was very fat, probably weighed at least 300. Well we ran into each other, but my 200 pound self fell (with him on top of me), and I fell on my left arm. I was hurting so bad, My left arm feels kind of weird ever since and my wrist is like really weak, its embarassing.
  9. Have you ever blinked quickly or closed your eyes really hard and open them again while in a dark room? Sometimes you start seeing purple and green shapes and colors, and they seem to move around like water or something. Kind of hard to explain... it's kind of weird and fun to do :) . Try pressing the skin on the sides of ur eyes into your eyes making your eyes close, then keep doing it. Its really crazy and fun :D Im not sure I'm talking about the same thing as you, but when I was little I would press on my eyes alot and I would see black and white eyes inside my eyelids.. kind of weird and cool, used to scare me lol

  12. Well, yes as you said, if your diet is good, which it more than likely isn't. But if you're serious about lifting, supplements will help you alot. Of course you have to take them right, follow the direction. If you just do whatever you want yes it will just lead to a fart or to "expensive urine". Who says hes doing it for girls? Most just want to have more muscle to look and feel good (which you willl eventually). Although girls might like a skinny guy just fine, it is a proven fact that most girls are more attracted to a muscular guy.

  16. That's rubbish, without the proper amount of protein, it doesn't matter if you lift the whole building with your pinky finger, you wont gain any muscle mass. What do you think muscle consists of? Don't want to sound rude, but what you eat makes all the difference in the world. But if you want to follow that school of thought, you could always opt in for creatine. You will get temporary fluid-based mass without really having to think about what you eat. The downside is, as I said, creatine wont make you any stronger that you previously were (though you might look more intimidating :) ) I've read from various sources that creatine helps improve strength. I really can't explain why because it's a bunch of scientific junk and I didn't reallly bother to really look hard at it. If I'm not feeling lazy I might go dig some out somewhere. But I agree with what you said about eating. D_u_e_s, you don't make gains in the gym, you make them at home. You need proper rest and nutrition. If you aren't getting enough of both, your weight training will only hurt your muscles instead of helping them.

  19. Well post away.. could be anything as long as it actually happened to you. From seeing someone in your house that isn't there, to hearing someone that isn't there. Just anything paranormal or bizarre or what not :) Can't post mine right now because I have to pretend to go to bed :wink: How many high school seniors in the world have a bedtime... and those that do how many is off the comp at 8:30 and lights off at 10:00 :roll: :x
  20. I remember one nightmare I had.. wasn't really that scary or anything but I'llt ell you what's special about it later. Well it was when I lived in france (about 6 years old or somefing) and there was a room next to the kitchen, and on the other side was the main area of the house. Well I was sitting in the kitched and I saw one of the really thick green bedsheets we had go through the kitchen (it was upright as if someone was under it, but no one was it sas just the blanekt) from the room, to the main part of the house. I was like what the h... looking at it hovering upright through the kitchen just a couple inches off of the floor . Next thing that happened was I heard a scream and glass shattering. And then in my mom's room, at the very end of the house there was the blanket, standing up, with the mirror and lights that were on the floor- shatterd in pieces. Well what makes me remember it and what's weird about it is that my sister had the same exact dream. We didn't know about it until one time we was talking about nightmares and I brought it up. and she was like :shock: I was like, What? And she said she had the same one.. kind of weird if I can think of any other ones.. I'll post them.. kind of in a rush right now
  21. Unless you lift really, really, no seriously really heavy, it ain't gonna stop your growth. Its just a myth.. more people are becoming aware that it isnt true. Also don't just work out your chest and arms.. work out your legs too, no need to look like a lightbulb :roll: . If you can do it one hour a day, do a different body part or muscle every day so they can all get some rest and your whole body won't be crippled in one day. As for supplements and protein and stuff, I strongly reccomend it but it isn't necessary. It just makes your weight training more effective/easier/ faster results and stuff. But hey why not live a healthy lifestyle and do it :) Someone suggested http://www.bodybuilding.com . It seriously is the best website you can go to for anything about fitness, weight training, weight loss.. basically any goal you want to achieve for your body. And the community on teh forums is very good and helpful.
  22. I'm not a smoker, and don'tt hink I'll ever be, but I'm pretty sure it isn't that easy to quit smoking. Cigaretteres are mentally and physically addicting so.. well I don't know what to say I'm not some expert on the subject and I won't give any advice if I don't know what I'm talking about.

  24. There's been some really good advice here, except for icedrop, wdf O_O. To the people who are saying you can eat anything you want... in theory yes, if you eat it in moderation- but why not start having a healthy lifestyle rather than stuffing your arteries with hydrogenated and saturated fats and all the chemicals and additives found in unnatural processed foods. And to the person saying protein supplements are a waste, I think you need to do some research first before jumping to conclusions, especially if its just something you heard. And it doesn't have to be expensive protein supplements, if money is an issue, you can always add milk powder to milk (preferably both skim). Although not as effective, it is still better than havint 80% of your calories coming from unhealthy fats, carbs, and the few protein from hamburgers and deep fried garbage. Again, there's some good advice here for what to do, but that shouldn't stop you from taking a couple minutes a day to do some more research. There's a difference between starving yourself and getting fit. You need to tell yourself that you are doing this to become healthy, not to lose those couple pounds. Or else once you reach your desired weight you will more than likely start eating like you did before... that is why diets fail. Diet changes are bad, lifestyle changes are the way to go.
