  1. you can make a rather nice dart from a proboscis , so they arent useless. my most useless item: King Lathas' Amulet. It does nothing, is not involved in the quests and carries no bonuses.
  2. Im the most famous person i know that plays Runescape. In fact im a Legend!
  3. I would like to see players forced into MORE of both types of situations. it is a MMPorpg after all! By the way, not all cooperative groups are mutually beneficial - in many clans only 10% of the members are there for the community, the other 91% are there for the benefits without wanting to give anything in return! This was seen until of late with the pest control clans. I guess runescape reflects human society after all!
  4. I agree wholeheartedly! good luck in your quest.
  5. points 500 reward : 22 tuna potatoes. very dissapointed :(
  6. Why would anyone use a 3rd party client to play runescape? answer: it does something novel or useful. this falls in to two categories: a) game features not provided by jagex that offer no advantage e.g. group chat, current world displayed B) game features not provided by jagex that offer advantage ingame e.g. logging into full words, macro key clickers B) is against the rules. i suggest jagex take note and build the features from a) into their own game (this is free research for them after all) those who use 3rd party clients for reason B) will be exposed anyway. as always, ANY software downloaded from the internet should be scanned for keyloggers viruses spyware etc. this includes 3rd party clients. if anyone is silly enough to use one without doing so, they are going to suffer! 99% of account theft is done by someone that knows the player anyway, i think that the problem of theft through clients is overestimated. PS. if anyone wants to do group chat, why use a client when you can use a chat program separate from runescape? my 2cents worth :D
  7. Start point: Ardougne Zoo To start: Speak to Charlie the zookeeper Quest length: Short Members only: Yes Minimum requirements: Level 27 Hunter Other requirements: None
  8. ferrets high alch for 24gp. rabbits foot + ball of wool = lucky rabbit foot necklace.
  9. i perched myself at the dark wizards and killed lots of them - they drop runes which means you can stay there a bit longer. there used to be a nice spot behind the ladder you could hide!
  10. if you are reading the tip.it quest guide, it is a little confused at the beginning. you need the key from the elemental workshop I quest to get back in. there is no new key :)
  11. wild pie ups your slayer by 5, has two halves which each also heal 11 hp it costs 6k to 10k each from players and needs a high cooking level to make. whether using the pie to get round a quest requirement will work or no, i have no idea.
  12. I don't mind people asking for quest items, or for arrows to get them back on their feet again ( a reasonable shortcut ) and i have been known to help players to help themselves. Some players just don't want to help themselves however, and will wander around aimlessly for days trying to get free stuff which they dont use, just sell to buy a ridiculously expensive and unuseful item. I think many players end up like this because they dont really know how to play the game, get stuck and become disheartened when they realise the time it will take. This results in the begging. I don't waste resources on a trick teleport etc., i just add them to the ignore list after a while :D caleban.
  13. i wouldnt worry. tipit has far more info than rs will ever put up on their site, plus its player based here which is a goldmine! i think (as otheres above) its an attempt to reduce the amount of queries to customer support! TIPIT FOREVER!
  14. my take on the recent bans was that the majority of them were involved in making money in REAL LIFE viaa cheating macroing scamming in rs this really is a bad thing and im glad jagex took this stance. bear in mind, banning members does cost jagex money, they lose their membership fees, so they arent going to do it lightly.
