  1. I know, hence why there are no mind control super bombs or anything. And the loyalty gun is not as all powerful as it seems.
  2. Sufficing to say that no one believes you Ico... My job doesn't require me to believe you so...
  3. Does it really matter if he is or isn't...Now that someone has posted it, someone else will try to research it somewhen....Same way Dusty decided to steal the P-Jets in Sere's Hegemony, didn't matter that I had got rid of them... Not overly sure why people are so bothered. Mather has massive, expensive ships that can't fly, with 1,000 missiles. Ico has a psionic weapon.
  4. Mather: Recharge time between salvos being dependent on the number of reactors you have, which are currently 0, thus can only fire once. As far as I am aware they are self guided missiles...and are charged with energy to pack an extra punch. Also, they effect shields in much the same way as any other weapon, meaning they will damage your shields...since they are physical, they can't be phase tuned, leaving you with magnetic shields. City ships are in the region of 300,000 resources and 400,000 cash. The free ones you have on the planet, don't have engines, generators or indeed shields(Obviously adding them is possible), so are currently cities, not city ships. Rocco: Turbo Lasers(as shown in every Star Wars film and game) have the accuracy of a blind man with a spear...however they pack a hell of a bunch. Quad Lasers, though, are much weaker, but are much more accurate, and since there are 4 times as many, they are 4 times as likely to hit(on top of that). NPCs have a random chance of occuring in any system you survey(from a single ship to their homeworld) Hyperdrives do 1 sector per year(3 months), Matter Gates go all over the galaxy. Other drives go faster or slower. Yes. 100% reduction in cost.(His people want to build ships) True, only nex has an advantage there. True. Ico: There are other limits on your tech...that you know about. However, loyalty effects are permenant(They add a rule like 'Obey person X for the rest of your life' to a persons brain, so one gun can turn billions. So wording will be important... And, like everything else, researching antis, is possible. Edel: Overpowered weapons are fine...Its not like they will be overpowered for very long before someone takes them down. Ross: Sending me the stats and posting the picture here is fine. Rocco: Pictures should be shown here, stats are secret until you battle/or blueprint steal the enemy. Grim: Sorry >.< Hyperdrive missiles would cost 50 resources and 20 cash Hmmmm, this could be interesting... Anywho, techs are techs...they are not defensive, they are not offensive, they are just techs. For all anyone knows Ico is using the loyalty guns to make animals want to be eaten, thus preventing the evil vegetarians from protesting so much...Or he could be working towards a huge loyalty beam that controls star systems. Oh and Tin Foil Hats...would be interesting.
  5. It did happen...quite a lot of the time...And since it was Prussian less than 100 years ago, and had been Prussian/German for a long time before then, its not exactly like it is something they would never, ever, part with. Holy Roman Empire issues a proclaimation that the HRE is German, and cannot tolerate non-German Races holding any part of it. (Though are quite happy for them to live outside of it)
  6. An offer, by Prussia(with the backing of the HRE, since Swedish Pomeraina is part of the HRE), is made to buy the province of Swedish Pomerania from Sweden. It was our province less than a life time ago, and we wish it to become ours once again.
  7. And pick a planet. Spites are not urgent, but are fun and give you pointers for blueprints(for ships) Developments...pretty much, design cities that reflect your play style, you can use additional colours just post what they are. You have 10 of them on your planet. Two we currently have completed.
  8. Ok... Checklist: Rocco: Techs, Planet, 10 Developments, Blueprints Grim: Planet, Techs, Blueprints Ico: Planet, 6 Developments Paul: Planet, 1 Developments Mather: Planet, Techs Edel: Planet, Techs Retech: Planet, Techs Dungeonal: Planet Nex: Planet Also:
  9. http://forum.tip.it/index.php?showtopic=272561&view=findpost&p=4454054 http://forum.tip.it/index.php?showtopic=272561&view=findpost&p=4455937 Turns out Ico didn't include Gibraltar in the peace deal that Trol accepted.
  10. You only have 6 developments, but you have 10 spaces
  11. When people finish designing stuff, and I get tech lists of the people who haven't given me tech lists.
  12. My motive was to free a HRE country from foreign influence, as per the roleplaying imperative...hence why I didn't invade it, didn't claim it and haven't got anything from it. Everything was done through the HRE and at the end of it, they are still an independant country, just without Britian controlling them.
  13. Prussia vaguely supports the Russian deal, on condition that other areas may be granted similar status in the future. *Cough*Troll*cough*
  14. You sent it to an area where the rebels were and your soliders went 'Hmmm....probably not worth dying for..."Greetings people of Free France, have some food, from the Queen of Russia"'
  15. Ico! I stated 3 pages ago that I was sending transports, then Doom says it is stupid, I justify it and she berates me in my justification. The ability to not carry on arguments that do nothing is not trolling. These are French Nobles though...
  16. Then why are you making a big deal out of it?
  17. Neither of those counteract the problem I would have faced, but yeah, it would be easier. Anywho, if making your army stronger makes no difference, then not making your army stronger also makes no difference. QED.
  18. Doom: By that logic, if I gave all my troops mech suits, it should be fine...I started with an army, I ended with an army, no reason for anyone to do anything. And conscripting a massive army is gonna have side effects...I know, I have tried.
  19. In the words Robert McNamara 'Everything we did was a carefully calculated, but we never looked at all the things we did, and that is how we went from 100 nuclear weapons to 50,000.' Meaning, things add up.
  20. Not dying because Russia betrayed them(or seemed to) will probably make them happy... And, if they are like all the other French people in this game, they are gonna stand in front of your cannons and get shot. On the off chance I can remove them without them getting killed by your 'My army gets stronger with each battle' then I should take that chance. Worst case scenario, my captains are total idiots and sit there while Napoleon shoots the cannons at my boats, and natural selection takes its course. Best case scenario, I get 19,000 extra soliders...
  21. I am quite happy too, I have gained two non-killing each other allies, got Portugual to sign a non-aggression pact so a patented 'Rocco stabs you in the back' will cause problems in your country...all from giving away 2 techs.
  22. Is there a rule against lying about your budget, or can I claim that I have 190 million?
