  1. Updates =P http://users.aber.ac.uk/lug9/delta_v/techblueprints.html Please feel free to comment or ask questions Please be aware that sprites are not designed individual and are chosen from a bank of sprites. If you wish to change your sprite please PM me. If you wish to add or ammend to the blueprint database please PM me...its considerably easier to keep track of  Strength Indices will be filled in during game play and will be ranked against a successful ship class. Example: Succesful Ship Class is 1,000. Other ships are ranked against that ship in a few catagories(Surivability, cost effectiveness, firepower, speed and so on and so forth(or less)) against that, being either better, worse or the same.
  2. I...see Actually I am in a fairly jolly mood and was just saying that there are ways to become a mod, no matter who you are and what you start out as.(Re: Someone saying they didn't think they could be a mod since they didn't get on with an admin) Varrock Library was an abandoned forum, it cannot really be denied(at least of two years ago). Being a mod without mod powers, to me, means talking to other users and coming to compromises, which seems to be what you describe...I am not really sure how else you could be a mod without powers. I ended fairly well with the Admin, I thought, and am the same person I always was.
  3. Becoming a moderator is/was fairly ease...you find an abandoned forum, act like a noob for 6 months, reform, spend 18 months modding without any of the powers, building up a considerable reputation for someone who spends an exceedingly large amount of time checking posts, giving feedback and generally being helpful.... Then apply for modship, give story above. 2 years and job done, then another 2 years for the admin to realise you have a different style from the traditional moderator, and you retire to a quiet corner of the forum. As the saying goes, From nothing, comes nothing, what have you lost? Nothing.
  4. We keep trying no mod games...Then Mather, me or...well...anyone...comes on and announces some brilliant scheme to become ultimately powerful and the game implodes or becomes a huge rage argument.
  5. Will do, and none. I am not overfond of it, but old design was at capacity. Fixed Religion and Tech buttons, will update next time I do an update. Can, tell me your sector and planet and I will highlight the planet. If you control the sector I will change the colour of the sector dividers.
  6. Although, if I had the time machine required to go back and state that I was sending a spy into the young guard to Dusty, back then....I can't help thinking I would just have dashed Napoleon against a rock when he was a baby... Save everyone a lot of bother. And the tedium of explaining that the post was merely a comment, it was not actually a threat/invitation or other thing which required defensive action to be taken to prevent people from labouring under the assumption that Napoleon was in imminate danger... Indeed I doubt that anyone thought that he was, given that his assassination is probably the most unlikely thing to happen in this game...given its name...and given his position in the game. Indeed, it would be like a train being derailed with a pointed stick. Though, in the non-scifi version: I could just train a vet, go to the stable, plant a bomb in his horse and have him blow up while riding around.... Or if we just rolled over and surrendered...then revealed the room was full of dynamite and blew him up then. That...or create the hydrogen balloon, name it Redoubtable, put a marksman in it, and let history shoot the Great Man in the backbone.
  7. Which is why a spy at the beginning would have been good to have....Thus it is now a good time to reveal them...
  8. Now would have been a good time to reveal an Old Guard Spy...
  9. Behaviour has a 'u' in, if you are not American. But yeah, games should have no outside influences...only exception is when you are getting the stuffing kicked out of you, at which point anything goes.
  10. Knee jerk reaction. Admin do something and people instinctively don't like it. Two reasons: 1) Historically bad things happen when ANYONE does ANYTHING 2) Hegemony has bred a culture of 'This seems reasonable....BUT IF THEY THEN DID THIS THEN WE ARE ALL DOOOOOOOOMED!!!!!!!
  11. No. [Re: Would I use it] But I have nothing against it as long as we are still allowed to create seperate channels if we ever need them(Playing more than one game at a time could get confusing  )
  12. Its why all games need Area of Attack weapons.
  13. Yeah...I could ally with the charred out remains of their armies and watch them keel over. And thanks Retech...Glad to see that you are far more willing to be a.... for the lulz than I was in the battle to defend myself... Edit: I am thinking of having an 'I Told You So' button added to my keyboard.
  14. Have to wait and see
  15. The last few nations of sanity before this game collapses(Here's hoping it doesn't). But realistically, Napoleon is defeated by Russia...Now that Russia doesn't exist, the game odds are stacked in France's favour...
  16. Despite certain theories, not everyone is created equally...some people are good at discovering stuff...other people arn't. Putting white coats, goggles and such on people who arn't terribly good, doesn't help much.
  17. Yay... Prussia announces the Last Coalition.
  18. They allow you to conduct research in them...Its fairly important to have them...but a million labs won't help too much if you only have 100 scientists.
  19. Realistically...you don't need a huge number of them...There are only so many geniuses at any one time.
  20. Prussia secretly reveals a love child between King Frederick and Catherine, IN [Wherever the captial city is now] who has assassinated Catherine the Great by pushing her off a bridge with an exceedingly long pole. The New Kingdom of P-Russia has agreed to the Swedish demands and has ordered a breakout from China, bringing the army home to deal with the rebels.
