  1. Dusty, can we get a recalculation of that last Russian round...Since he has basically done what Edel did...only without telling everyone he was quiting first.
  2. Sorry, removing a Frenchmen's head made him worse off? I think realism just went out the window =P Prussia rolls its eyes at the Russian responce.
  3. Hehe, I am brilliant enough to think up such a plan, and probably commited enough to carry it on for this long... But I am not devious enough to actually put it into action. And I doubt other people are commited enough once the game ends...Most people are not commited enough while the game is still running.
  4. I don't know...You betrayed Hex that one time, if we want to be technical.
  5. Well this is the thing. Allying with Spain leads to total stability, since all of the would be enemies of Spain and Byzantia are reduced to fifth rate powers. Total stability therefore leads to Stagnation or to Betrayal. Stagnation because the remaining powers have no way of ever challanging the alliance, meaning no one tries, meaning the game stagnates and dies...Since there is no mechanism for the mega-empires falling apart, as happened to the various Empires in history. Betrayal because, without any enemies to fight, the alliance has no point. So, Byzantia signs up to temporary alliance with a more powerful nation, by burning all of its bridges with any potential ally when the alliance expires. If Byzantia had betrayed us by not launching an attack and instead launching a full attack across Europe, then that would have made sense...We would have defeated/weakened your main competitor while you harvested our lands... But, end of the day, you chose to come second...
  6. Probably, Hegemony does not engender trust, and the potential for backstabbing is always high. But, in all honesty, it is not a big deal... Only reason it was such a big deal at the time, was the general lack of roleplay on your part. Byzantia stands to gain less from the betrayal than from loyalty, so it cannot be anticipated, which is akin to someone joining the red team solely to shoot the red team in the back of the head, so their friend in the blue team can win... You feel like you have been cheated out of actually playing a game, instead you have been used as a tool for fawning.
  7. Blasted calander. Yeah, so today is the reset day...unless it is at the end of the day... Ah, stuff it, I am going to bed and when I get up I expect there to be a steaming pile of Frenchmen (Which could be misconstrued) dead in Hannover, or however far they got before the Radioactive Zombie Bee Bears that Austria sent over eat them alive
  8. Yeah, but Retech was the mod, not alot I can do to stop that  Nah, its not terribly vengeful, if you were not France then I would probably have just been a bit sarcastic and told Dusty that, if we were in the same battle, to either aim specifically for your units or to not come to your rescue...After that, probably go back to how things were before.
  9. Nah, that wouldn't work. It has been 35 days since the game started (31st of July.), and 10 and 4 are both even numbers... As you know even numbers added together will always equal an even number...therefore it is not possible for it to be a reset day today(35 is not even) August has 30 days, so the last update was on the 1st(seemingly), and the next would be on the 5th.
  10. Probably just an issue about time of day.
  11. To be fair, I am attacking you out of petty vengence for the last game and the roleplay imperative. About 25-75 split. I would not be overly bothered about neighbouring another powerful country...hell, I have Austria and Russia next to me, one more country that could insta-kill me doesn't affect me much.
  12. Prussia makes a killing selling the Hydrogen to the Spainyards, then watching them look confused when Matches don't exist until 1805, and were not used popularly until 1826. Prussians 'promise' to come back when the Match has been invented.
  13. Prussia begins conducting experiments with hydrogen ballons, the goal is to visit the planet of Fallen and plant a flag...before those greedy Spainyards get there
  14. Everyone starts with basic electromagnetic shields and Light Speed Communication
  15. Anything that Humans have now, plus Hyperdrive, lasers and basic shields. If you have anything that you think it basic then tell me and I will make a ruling.
  16. Dusty Race: Check. Will redo disadvantages. Merge first two into weakness against toxins/virus/such, since population is too complicated to keep track of. Third one is fine. Adding: Varga's Promise: To get the rebels to fight, Varga promised a dozen reforms above average, amounting to 5% production penalty. All techs except asteroid mining are basics, but you can improve them if you like. Nah, you were the second race I did, I was pretty easy going, where as other people got a harsher deal. Disadvantages: Zero-Gs- Development on a low Gee world and in Space, has rendered them especially weak, even compared to other low gravity dwellers. OH THE HUMANITY!- If more than twelve ships are destroyed within a single battle (Enemies don't count) then there will be a morale penalty. You let THEM on the ship!- Alliances with races less technologically advanced create a morale penalty. Koniophobia- Manned Fighters are all but outlawed. No Ship Is Left Behind!- If a ship is not destroyed, it must be towed back or defended until repaired enough to carry on. Should hope not...Sounds like a space fleet... Please be aware that disadvantages and advantages will change over time.
  17. http://forum.tip.it/index.php?showtopic=272561&view=findpost&p=4436351 Berlin Peace Conferance, however the agreement is from the Hague Peace Conferance...so all the info has Hague stamped over it. Anywho, I consult that glowly orb the witch left: [hide][/hide] [/childishness]
  18. Prussia condemns Revolutionary France for not abiding by the Hague Convention, and for spreading unprovable (in game) lies! Also, it was clearly France...everyone else has a proper navy. :shades:
  19. Bartulus thinks for a moment while Roderick is flogged for some reason that was never fully explained. "So. You wish to found a market place on my fair Island? What, pray tell, is my incentive? Boy!" He points at one of the floggers "How would you like to be a merchant." Waits a second "Good, go with this Rogar person and see that he sets up a market place, he is forbidden to leave the Island until he has paid me.....50,000 Doubloons."
  20. That rabbit has a dorsal fin in its head....
