Nope fraid not. The map has not yet been coloured since I took yesterday off. To summerise events: Russia has invaded and taken over Georgia and Mongolia. Hex was steamrolled due to not giving me any figures for three days and then, only after I had said he was steamrolled, gave them too me...which is really beyond the pale. Only one island was invaded by Hex...Though I think the other islands might get angry with you if you annex it... I screwed up the pricing system on nuclear weapons when I was discussing it with Hex, so he had 30, 50 kilotonne bombs, which were more than enough to destroy Japan's infrastructure, since I had no air defences from Mather, despite asking for all defences. The invasion of Venzuala is on hold till I recieve word from the persons doing it. Australia has invaded and taken control of the rest of Guinea. Argentina has invaded various South American countries and taken them over Anything I have forgotten please tell me, I will update the map momentarally.

Oh, Hex failed to send any sort of statistics so Hextopia is steamrolled by allied nations. If the allied nations want to divide the territory up between themselves then do so and I will update the map.

No No to the Plastic idea as well, I am just saying no, I don't care if someone invents it tommrow, its a no. I am taking the rest of the day off since I have had a crap day and any calculations are likely to feature a disproportionate amount of damage. There is a chance I will be on much later and update, but don't hold your breath...it really has been that bad a day... 4 hours sleep, lecture I am not getting any credit for, 5 and a half hours standing in the rain trying to view a house, then, after we have been shown round the house, we are told it has been taken by a friend of the landlord... Having recovered feeling in my legs and hands by showering I am now going to sleep/read/cook/play on the computer, hopefully better so I can work some stuff out later.

Exactly. Just because people say they can do stuff doesn't mean they actually can. You should stop taking what people say as gospel truth and instead take it with a pinch of salt. That doesn't mean 'Oh well, that is going to kill me so I will ignore it' because I don't work like that, it just means if someone says 'I am going to use new magic plastic' then the likelyhood is that they won't be using magic plastic, since I won't allow it. If anyone is in any doubt over what I will and will not allow then they can pm me and I will say. Specifically, the rules state that Hex can have any sized army he wants, but that he will only be able to use a percentage of that army because it costs 90,000 per solider to deploy.

Anywho, I am going to bed, Hex if I don't get those defences by tommrow then the attacks will be unopposed.

But all those countries are either close allies or have at least friendly relations. Japan has friendly relations with China? I think he meant with each other...

Hex getting booted because people agree that he is screwing up the game...Thats why there is a vote....So people can decide if he is just playing the game or if he is ruining the game...

True, but there is quite a wide line between competition and overpowered. If people think you have done something which is not in the spirit of the game...IE not giving someone a fighting chance... then it sort of makes the game a bore to play.

Basically...Its like the super weapon rule...if someone creates an uber weapon that no one can defend against the game isn't fun....its just one person being a jerk....

Look, when it comes down to it...it is my decision. I believe Hegemony is about people enjoying themselves... So its not because Hex breaks rules, but because Hex makes the game unenjoyable for some people. In the same way that me playing and modding makes the game unenjoyable for some people. I keep within the rules and play in the same manner as everyone else, but because of my status people lose enjoyment, so I don't play. If most people don't get enjoyment out of Hex playing then I am not really doing my job to let him keep playing. Hex is one person, his enjoyment should not take precedent over the majority...

If you can host the music you should be able to post it...its just code otherwise... You could try reposting it....

I don't mind means 'It doesn't really effect me'...its the way of people removing themselves from the arguement, but still voting...Like people who vote for the Lib Dems :eek: Anywho, yeah, people who don't play don't count. Even so, its a 2/3rds majority to remove Hex. And a 2/3rds majority to stop me adding stuff when I think it would be a good idea. ...As things stand, I will leave it running until the 3rd and then do what needs to be done.
