I would have found it pretty ironic if Mather had been doing it to make money...Since that would involve a complicated set of mechanics that would, ultimately, cause him to tear his brain in two....Or so he claims. While it is tempting to say 'Safe Spot? That sounds like a complicated set of mechanics', its fairly intuitive...unless he is looking at a guide...in which case he is a hypocrit.

A more indepth manned mission to the Moon takes place and, just after they land, begin conducting tests/ect... the Earth is suddenly exploded/imploded/ceased existing. The game would develop from there. Anyone have an opinion on that?

To me...knowing other people's birthdays is some steps down the road to being a stalker. On the other hand, I knew it was Retech's Birthday today because Skype told me. So, while it is certainly an earmark of an unhealthy interest in the personalities of those who happen to read the same board...there are justifiable reasons as to why a person might know that; which don't relate to them being a stalker (if they are or not is another matter). On a mildly unrelated note: Mather's post count in the Backroom is 1,923 Mine is 1,329 Eath's is 1,319 And Nex' is 1,282 For the Fireplace: I am 20 (48ish %) ahead of Nef. I have 44, he has 24. Iey has 21 and Earth has 19. For Crossroads: I have 105 Earth has 73 Nex has 53 And Mather makes a showing with 47 So we can learn 3 things from this: 1) Mather is more generally off-topic than anyone else. 2) I have more ideas related to games than anyone else. 3) Earth is a much more prolific poster than I had otherwise assumed.

I like the Batarians and Vorcha, Elcor I am sort of 'eh' about and the Volus are quite humerous, but wouldn't want to meet. Quarians...meh. Love the Geth (Well, more accurately, love Legion, who became all Geth) Krogan....nah, respect them, but not like them. Salarians...Probably in the same league as the Volus. Tali is silly. Only respectable part of her is 'Emergency Induction Port'. Mordin is awesome, probably 3rd of the list of best characters. Grunt...no. Shepard...I liked my Shepard, not sure about all Shepards. Anderson was ok...sort of drifted between good and ok. Garrus was almost always awesome though. =P
