  1. âââ¬Ãâthis is the stupidest and most unconstructive and unthoughtful thread ever, you are a complete idiot and really have no mind to think before you say anything , so i recoment you dont make a bigger idiot of yourself by talking more. I will not explain anything to you since you have not said anything contructive to me urself. Idiot.âââ¬Ã
  2. âââ¬Ãâdo't come here to talk bout bmw's and chevys, we all know how much a car is, and if you didn't noticed, this is not the real life, here a burger king phat could be 350m dollars and a bar of gold 200 dollars.âââ¬Ã
  3. âââ¬ÃâI'm not saying everyone plays for the rares (we're going from one extreme to another here), but you're totally denying the importance of rares by saying the total value of the rares market is insignificant and by saying you don't believe that rares are the sole reason some people play this game and that not many people will be pissed of when you remove them.âââ¬Ã
  4. âââ¬ÃâAnd by the way, i sound fearful? The rares market apparently looks like it's down? Well it's currently on the rise again Masks are up 1.5m from what they were yesterday. Does not seem much of a decline to me.âââ¬Ã
  5. âââ¬ÃâOwned by Duke.âââ¬Ã
  6. I said: Also, I refuse to believe that rares are the only reason that people play this game. Duke Freedom said: Denying to accept something that is a fact does not make it untrue. I know that you are a big merchanter, so it may be impossible for you to believe that every new account is not someone just playing their fingers to the bone to buy your wares. But it is true. You, my friend, are so deep into denial that you canâââ‰â¢t even see reality from where you are standing. For goodness sake, people donâââ‰â¢t even know that rares exist when they start playing, so how in the green earth can it be the only reason? That just makes no sense at all. As I said earlier, there are many reasons to play this game. If you think that a large percentage, even a significant percentage, are only playing so they can earn enough 230 million to buy a rare, you are smoking something that should be illegal. Sure, ask someone if they would like a phat. They would say âââ¬Ãâyes.âââ¬Ã
  7. âââ¬ÃâSpeak to anyone wask them if they'd rather own a phat or a whip i wonder what their answer will be.âââ¬Ã
  8. âââ¬Ãâyour an idiotâââ¬Ã
  9. 1) Jagex likes rares because it keeps people coming back, staying in game. My answer: Then, why doesnâââ‰â¢t Jagex create more of them; not of the same, but of different kinds? Since so many rares are so high priced as to make them unachievable to all but a few players, why not create some more âââ¬Ãânot quite so rare raresâââ¬Ã
  10. First of all, I have been playing for less than a year and a half, so I was not here for the original drops, nor have I earned enough money to buy any. But, it is time for the rares to go. They serve no purpose other than to make trouble, see recent construction bug massacre, and to provide forums for ostentatious displays of wealth. None of that is constructive to any real purpose of the game. By their careful attempts to avoid the creation of any more rares, it is clear that Jagex does not believe that the rare markets contribute to the game. So, let us do everyone a favor, and get rid of them. Now, at this point, emotionally immature people will be complaining, âââ¬Ãâyou are just jealous because you donâââ‰â¢t have one,âââ¬Ã
  11. Really, phats are just a big pain in the rear. The game would be much improved if they were gone. I have an idea. Why don't we all vote on it?
  12. Why is it so hard to understand that a roll back would harm every other player in the game? Is that fair? Sure, I want them to undo everything I have done for the last two days just so someone can get some silly phat back. There is something about this game that must destroy one's ability to think.
  13. What I find funny is that his behavior is the "dream of all pkers." Their dream is to kill people who can't fight back? What kind of trash is that dream made of? I don't know which was more dismaying, the killing rampage itself, or the support of other ethically people challenged afterwards. This will go down as one of the greatest acts of shame and cowardice in Runescape history. He should be banned forever. I always said that the pkers were not the sharpest knives in the drawers, but I was not aware of their sewer ethics before now.
  14. I can't believe how many complaints have been made about the posts being made about how expensive construction is. It got old after about the third complaint, but on thread after thread, they keep coming.
  15. It will be a huge money maker when they add pirate ships. You can sail the seas, plundering merchant ships. Argggggggg
  16. You wonder if your monkfish are that valuable to pkers. You forget that your average pker is not very smart, for sure not the sharpest knife in the drawer. So, those thoughts can't find their way into their dull little minds. If the pkers had anything at all going for them, well, they wouldn't be pkers now would they?
  17. I am going into your house and steal your stuff. Nail down the furniture and hide the silverware, here I come. Your bronze armour, that you believe to be so secure, is no longer safe. Tomorrow, yes tomorrow, it will be in my hands ... muhahahaha
  18. We just must face the simple awful fact that the pkers are not the sharpest knives in the drawer. If they had any sense or accomplishment, they would earn stuff honestly instead of trying to steal if from others when they have a huge, unfair advantage. If you are killing green dragons, you are equipped to, well, kill green dragons, not fighting other people. So, the pker, equipped for killing others attacks those equipped to fight a specific monster. Fair? No. Containing the qualities of an honest upright mind? No. Pkers? We must pity them. The only moment they can shine (in their eyes) is to act only when they have an unfair, decided advantage. Calling them a noob is to insult noobs everywhere.
  19. Cool story, but as far as I am concerned, telling a newbie, "You need to learn to use the map," is not rude, but just plain ole good advice. They DO need to learn how to use the map, and no day is better than this one to start. But, it is hard to help people in this game. My experience has often been being asked to help a lot more after helping a little. Or, if my help does not come quickly enough, being called noob. I am a high level and get more than my share of attention. I try to be polite. But, we are all entitled to boundaries. For me, the worst thing to do is ask, "plz." I will do it or I will not do it. So, a pathetic "plz" will not change my mind, unless I was inclined to do what you want. And then, just one "Plz" and you have lost me for good.
  20. I think at least one will be a noob prayer. It will either render all noobs mute ÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Ãâ ÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ãâ¦Ã¢â¬ÅFree stuff plea..ÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬ÃâÃ
  21. As said in the Bible, ÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ãâ¦Ã¢â¬ÅThe noobs will always be with you.ÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬ÃâÃ
  22. For best enjoyment doing Royal Trouble, play it as the opposite sex from when you did Throne of Miscellania. Jagex has anticipated this happening, and has the royal family trying to understand and deal with this surprising change in condition. The prince and princess seek to come to terms with the switch in sex of his/her fianc̮̩̉̉e, and future brother-in-law/sister-in-law. Same sex marriage?
  23. If your character has changed its sex since playing "Throne" you get some interesting conversations.
  24. The green dragon and clue pkers are the lowest form of runescape life. And they know it. Having that low of self respect canÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢t be kept hidden from oneself for very long. Someday, some of them will mature. Many wonÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢t. More is the pity.
  25. If we are going to win at Pest Control with any frequency, we must play smart. I have played about 600 games, and have the following tips. Some of them may seem elementary, but every game I see people ignoring these ideas. A) For instance, people who are apparently attacking random monsters instead of either defending the knight or killing the portals are adding nothing to the effort. Sometimes I see people attacking monsters that have locked onto another player. I guess their intent is to get experience while not being attacked themselves. Of course, sometimes you are required to do something that does not necessarily look productive. While defending the outside of the South gate, I have had to kill rangers that were well away from the gate. If they lock onto you, every time you finish one kill you go running toward the ranger attacking you. Even clicking back towards the gate doesnÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢t always work. So, sometimes it is best to just take the time to kill the pesky ranger before getting back to more important work. So, be careful of judging the role of others without knowing their full story. B) There is no substitute for high levels. I donÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢t mean 80ÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢s and 90ÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢s. To win consistently, players above 100 are needed. I believe that Jagex does not intend to make this easy. If teams full of 50ÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢s, 60ÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢s and 70ÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢s could consistently win, Jagex would make it harder. And making it harder is very, very easy for them to do. Because the rewards of winning are actually rather generous, I believe that Jagex will make it into a game that well require teams of mostly higher level players to win. And even those teams of higher levels will have to play smart and disciplined. C) One person needs to establish himself outside both the East and West gates. They need to: 1) Keep the gates closed. 2) Take supplies to repair the gates if destroyed. 3) As long as the gates are intact, attack only ravagers. Ignore the rest of the monsters; they can do no harm. 4) If the gates come down, be very selective in what monsters you kill. If the monsters are in a line with a ranger at the front, locked onto the knight, attack only that ranger. If there is a shifter at the front of the line, and you or someone else is blocking the line from moving, it may be best to just let the shifter be. Killing it may bring a ranger to the front. If other players are available they can go back in the line and kill rangers; you never know when the line breaks down. If a ranger moves to the front of the line, if possible, attack him before he attacks the knight. That way he will be shooting at you instead of the knight. D) To bring the portals down as quickly as possible, do the following: 1) The single most important thing to do is get good position ÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Ãâ meaning the left or right spots on the inside of the portal. Since the spinners spawn in the middle, inside spot, you will then be in position to kill them. If you are in the middle inside spot, and the spinners are under you, and the inside is all clogged up, you canÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢t move left or right to attack the spinner. Everyone should attempt first of all to get a left or right inside position. The presence of someone else in those positions should not discourage you. That person may die, at which point any spinner locked onto him will begin to heal the portal. Or, five or six spinners may spawn in a very short period of time. The positions to the side and outside (towards the water) of the portals should be considered defaults only if you canÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢t get in on the inside. Even the middle inside has benefits; a spinner may have moved to the left or right inside positions and is under the players stationed there. If the inside is clogged, they canÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢t move to get to it. 2) If no players are able to station themselves on the inside, and spinners appear, donÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢t just continue to attack the portal from the outside or sides. Unless you have overwhelming superiority in firepower, the spinners will heal faster than you can do damage. If possible, fight in from the sides, getting you to the left or right inside spots more quickly. Of course, sometimes it is easier to get in from the back; but that has problems. 3) If the inside is clogged, and spinners are present with no one to kill them, avoid the back unless you are in position to fight in. If you are in the third or fourth spaces back from the inside of the portal, your presence is helping to clog up the inside, especially if one of those very annoying brawlers is locked onto you. The brawlers clog up the lanes, keeping shifter, torchers, defilers and others monsters ÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Ãâ even spinners - next to the portal. So, move away. The brawler and others locked onto you will follow, allowing other monsters to leave the area. You may not be able to fight into the inside, but clearing the area may allow someone else to do so. 4) Attack portals when you have energy. Being able to run makes a huge difference. Not only do you get from portal to portal faster, but it is much easier to maneuver around monsters locked onto you if you can run. The brawlers and shifters like nothing more than to get in your way, keeping you from moving to the next portal. Trying to walk around them is very difficult. When I am out of energy, I go inside to protect the knight, or outside the South gate, to renew my energy. Then, back to the portals. E) At least four people need to position themselves outside the South gate, and do the following: 1) Keep the gate from being opened for unwise reasons. All of these are unwise reasons: a) Someone inside the compound opens the gate to let monsters in because: ÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ãâ¦Ã¢â¬ÅWe need something to do.ÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬ÃâÃ
