The whole cooperative effort behind pest control is interesting. It provides the best outlet for game-based anti social behavior yet. Sure, in pking you can kill someone and take his stuff. It gets pretty anti social when all the person is doing is using the abyss, or working a clue. That is low-life pking. But, with pest control, the immature brats can spoil it for 24 other people all at once. They have plenty of opportunities. They can kill the south shifter, they can run around opening gates. Lots of opportunities here for someone to express his or her general hate and distaste for the rest of us; denying other players tens of thousands of experience points at a shake. I like the idea of having events where we work together for a common goal. That has been missing from the game. What we see is that some of the other players we have been trying to avoid are not only boorish, but they themselves are little monsters in the making. I can imagine some of the comments, either made or thought, by people reading this. ÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ãâ¦Ã¢â¬ÅWho are you to try to tell the rest of us what to do?ÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬ÃâÃ

So see if I get this right. People are complaining now because they are going to need to be a little smarter to fight clan wars or PK? Tragic, indeed. Tragic. Runescape should be orientated to the dimmer ones among us.

The change I would like to see is a requirement that each player hold 10k gp in his inventory to play the game. Every time he/she opens the South gate, 1k would be deducted and divided among all the other players. Open the gate if you will; but pay for it.

The answer to inflation is very simple: have mods sell rares. Just create rares for them to sell in the game. Rare prices go down, and money is drained from the game. I like the idea so much I am asking Jagex to do just that.

From playing pest control, I can see that a lot of our young players have a minimum wage future ahead of them. If they canÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢t simply leave the South gate alone; opening it just to have something to do, or opening it to sabotage the game for everyone else, they will not be worth any more than minimum wage in the workforce. Assuming, of course, they can hold a job at all.

I would like to make a point that I donÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢t believe has been made. It is important that people who are not actively trying to kill the portals or spinners get away from the portal area. I am a level 119 and have played about 500 games so I know this from experience. If you are fighting a monster near the portal, you are clogging up the area. I try to get an inside position on the portal (the side that the monster spawn from) in order to kill spinners. I am willing to take the damage from all the monsters on the inside of the portal to do this, but I have to be able to get there to do it. If you are fighting monsters, you are holding that monster there, plus you and it may be blocking other monsters that want to leave the area, from leaving. If there are too many monsters on the inside of the portals, not only canÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢t people who want to kill spinners get to them, but if those people are in a good inside position and a spinner spawns underneath them, they canÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢t move to one side to kill it. Now, you may ask why anyone who is not trying to kill the portal or the spinners stays in the area to fight monsters. I have no idea. They may think that they are helping, but, in fact, they are hindering. If you just want to kill monsters, go to the outside of the South gate. Not only will you be of help, but you will not be hindering those who are trying to take down the portals.

Of course the things you want to do will make it harder for those working on Slayer. Prayer pots cost more. Food costs more. And only ten minutes of re-prayer on metal dragons or Aberrant Spectors just does not cut it at all. Why should anyone trying to level up Slayer support this?

For the clue about the shadow and middle of a circle, how about a circular house on stilts. It would cast a circular shadow on the ground below it. The are several of these in Shilo village in the area of the Slayer Master ( also under his hut). But, I am sure in other places as well.

"Covered In Shadows, the centre of the circle is where you will find the answer" How about in Mort'ton, where you rebuild the temple?

It will be a dragon shovel. It will dig faster.
