The wrinkles in the robe or whatever the person is wearing needs to be more more thin. The left arm is too skiny where it comes out. Also the vial is a little too skiny and the lines are not smooth. Anther thing that might be wrong is the sack thingy is missing a strap(maybe since i have seen those one strapers). Other then that it is cool.

ok now all the lines i redid by hand. After following the advice it kinda looks werid did i do something wrong? new: old: now all the lines should be going the same way except for those that are angles a bit to make farther objects look smaller here is two more versions but with the fireplace more shallow Edit: found a line that i did wrong after i posted it. Here is it fixed, pretend its fixed in the other versions.

Well im going to try and make a new pixel sig based on the idea of making it more 3d since i noticed everyone elses sig looked 2d ish. I will be saving it every 5 minites i work on it in hope of making a animationthat has all of them from the start to finish. I dont have that much free time so dont expect me to make huge progress each day. This is based off a very unoriginal idea, fireplace chest with stuff in it and maybe a KBD head trophy somewhere. I know that idea has been used maybe a hundred times but couldnt think of anything else. there will be text somewhere on it that will say my name(one of my 3 screen names) - master of runescape. First: worked on making a basic 3d looking place Second: worked on making fireplace Third: finished fireplace and started a chest Fourth: added trophy thing, finished chest Fifth: divided brick section from rest and made ceiling taller Sixth: Seven: made fireplace popout eight: made sword nine: started head trophy thing ten: finished head trophy thing eleven: made lines on floor twelve: made kq head thirteen: made more lines fourteen: edited sword a bit fifthteen: colored sixteen: recolored sword and added gold line to trophy thing seventeen: got rid of some of black lines on floor eightteen: finished getting rid of black lines on floor and did chest nineteen: recolored and got rid of black lines on wall plus recolored floor, dont like color though twentyA: redid anatomy of fireplace and chest twentyB: redid floor this time drawing by hand and it war worth it i think also redid chest again... 21: colored 22: redid fireplace color,worked on lines/ details , shaded sword a bit when was board

I like it, pretty origional(i think) but not much you did besides make fake text I still like it tho besides the poorly faken texbox. Ill suggest this tutorial if you havent read it already tutorial ps: use a $ next time

I love the new changes only thing I dont like atm is the middle of the tree, seems kind of flat and the fish(for now hopefully) in general. Im interested in what you will make next so far its fantastic.

That could be why you seem like you dont listen, everyone assumed you used photoshop. Any way, it's ok but maybe it needs to be more "sharp". I like the font you used but i think it would look better if it stood out more. Also dont think there is really a way of creating photoshop quality sigs with paint shop. If you want to download photoshop i think they have a trial of photoshop cs2(i think) on the adobe website. Im thinking of trying it out for myself once i finish some other work i need to do.

I have never made a photoshop sig but ill try and give some constructive criticism anyway: the background looks cool but it a little too repitive and the text doesnt blend it in well but i will give it a 4/10 just keep at it and try new things every new sig you make so you will keep learning new skills. here is the wrong way to shade a tree: sry terley but i dont think it would be applied to a tree too well... only a slim chance to be proven wrong.

The shading on the tree vs. the ent looks like the light source is coming from inbetween them so that may be wrong if you arnt doing a fireball or something. The tree shading is a little flat, looks like you only have a light side and a dark when it is susposed to be a cylinder and my eyes would like a litle more contrast in them because it is kind of hard to get the round shape idea when my eyes look at them. To sum it al up: I like your shading but i think you should use at least 3 diffrent colors instead of 2 with a third drawn over Both so you cant reall see it and you should have the lightest and darkest side differ more. Also make sure the light souce is common among objects if it is not on the page. edit: i made a example but excuse me for it sucking its mostly because i suck at art and i filled in the color with the line tool and then air brushed it along the bounds of diff colors, becuase of that i messed up the lines of your roots. Also i made the tree's width more gradual since it only gets smaller at the roots and the rest of the way up it is straight. I made the lightest color in the tree lighter but kept the dark because i thought the tree was too dark comparedto the rest of your pic. ps: i think your right tree root is too [bleep]y and usally ents have a main tree stem with leaves and such with 2 limbs coming out that sort of look like hand. Anther option is just making it look like a runescape ent witch i think is dumb(tree with evil look).

0.5/10 you could do things like 1.) fix the lines on the guy like the legs, chest, and face 2.) straighten up the tree trunk 3.) tree leaves color should be darker 4.) stray brown lines extend both ways from the tree trunk 5.) if you want to shade grass then dont use black lines, nothing has black line borders in real life. 6.) birds arnt really a good idea since the serve no purpase and and just black lines. 7.) you shouldnt just scribble all over the place to make hair, draw it in and then shade it but you should first get your line work down before you start worrying about shading 8. eyes and mouth are not black and mouth is usally curvy and eyes are not round. 9.) hands and feet shouldnt be straight black just keep trying and i bet you can imporve by one point if not more each attempt

I followed all the suggestions and i think it imporoved a lot. The only thing I dont like is how the size is so small. Any more tips or things you guys think is off?

made the edges of the leaves darker and the leaves darker overall but i still think it sucks. Edit: didnt see how i needed the whole thing to be dark

My_Eggs: At the very bottom of the player gallery #2 on the runescape website it says that you can email it, [email protected]. I think i might get the trial version and if i find it worth it ill buy photoshop. I looked at some photoshop tutorials and it seems you can do a lot more.

paint shop does have layers but there are only a few filters. ps why didnt you rate my kitty :(

Just wondering, is photo shop much diffrent from paint shop(what i have)? I know most of the tools in paint shop and i cant see any way to make some pics such as Wolf San's in the runescape player gallery Since i saw it i have been stunned at how you would make something like that even though he most likely is a professional grafic designer. With paint shop i have made a few things, they all suck. Is photo shop much better then paint shop? Here is some of my pics but i can't ever get anything to look realishlyed. Here is my pic again after i tried to do some of the suggestions, looks a little messed up because i shaded a raster layer so my background looked darker and that was the best i could do to fix it. Thanks.

Can someone help me on how to make my pics better, here is one i did of a dog bone on a lily pad in the water but if i do more detailed things they always come out bad, can anyone help me?
