  1. Do any of the f2p high score sites hold f2p highscores for old school servers aswell or plan to in the future?
  2. that's totally fine bro, but we will keep supporting EOC anyway because there's a chance we might one day go back and afterall, EOC or 2007scape, we are one community and should be lookin out for eachother. Don't forget that every single voter will have paid a month of membership fee directly to EOC's budget just for a chance to play the game they enjoy.
  3. Yes please vote for this. While you may not want to play it, many others do. It can't hurt you to vote for it. Most of the EOC Players are scared that if the poll hits 500k+ then jagex would take EOC's budget and put it to 2007 which is not the case, the more votes the poll gets the more likely it is for the game to get its' own developing and support team so EOC could go on full throttle, otherwise they would just half-ass both games. They'll realize eventually, probly after the poll is closed tho lul
  4. Errr ... so you actually want a buggy game where game-breaking oversights can have massive impacts on the economy or result in the loss of all your items? [hide]Surprise, it's still around![/hide] [/hide] No, what I want is for Jagex to stop being so goddam safe with everything. Just like when you go out to drive your car to the grocery store, you're taking the chance that you'll be hit by another car and killed, but the benefits of that car trip outweigh the risks. Jagex, they are terrified of that car trip. In fact, they don't even own a car. Jagex is like the grandma who's locked herself in her own house, removed all the furniture, sanded down all sharp corners, tied herself to the only remaining chair, and calls her son every couple of days to personally deliver her some cold, bland chicken broth that he spoonfeeds her with his own hands (because she could choke on the spoon). Jagex used to take risks. And risks come with losses (glitches), I realize. Sometimes even huge, game changing glitches. But those glitches are rare. They don't happen all that often. The benefits outweigh the risks. Nowadays, they lock themselves in their office and only release updates that appeal to the lowest common demoninator, AKA children who Jagex thinks they have to protect with their children-like themes. Implementing EoC was the biggest risk they have ever taken. With it have come some huge glitches. And lo and behold, it's turned out to be possibly the best risk they've ever taken. I believe the squeal of fortune was the best risk they've taken
  5. My reason for not voting is that I don't believe EoC was a step in the wrong direction. However, dividing the game/community in two is. Obviously the existence of 07 servers will generate jagex more money in the short term. However if it ends up failing and the players on it quit (a proportion of which may have come around to eoc given time) then they'll end up losing out. Many of the people who want to play this game haven't played the main game for years and do you really think that everyone is so obsessed with runescape that if they dislike eoc they will stick around? i think this change was so drastic that it was a no brainer to a lot of people to just move to private servers or other games. That's why you see only 40,000-50,000 people online at certain time of the day. You cant keep players in a cage, eventually they'll break out and realize that there are still thousands of Non-eoc runescape servers that people are developing every day. Jagex finally realized this and they know they cant put a stop to all of them, so they would rather beat them by making a superior product. Some people are mislead and think that a few people whining on the RS official forums made this happen, but in reality it was mostly the numbers that visit private servers every day + the poll by some youtuber that started all this madness. A lot of us believe that 2006scape was made by Jagex. It was a private server that had over 200,000 registered accounts, before it was shut down. That's like 70-80k individuals. Jagex really did their homework on this. not sure if trolling about jagex making it, but they hit 100k individuals a long time before they had to close. That's not even gonna say much, that was just 1 of the thousands of servers out there
  6. If they could fix RWT they would have already. Besides they sell gold and 99s on the wheel, why do you dislike rwt? i thought that's what people that play eoc enjoy these days? Including the gambling.

  8. It sounds like an adendum. So presumably the current fee of 10$? + fee for 07bullshitscape. You want two games, you pay for two games. You want some retro garbage you pay for it. I think that's the point, we don't want the EOC game so rather pay for the one we would actually log into. Also who exactly are you to judge over the games people play? If you like Spinning the wheel for items and gambling with flowers and dice or watever, i wont judge you for that so go forward man, do what you enjoy.
  9. i dont know what you mean about the GE part, but they havent released any information how or if rares are distributed.
  10. implying there is even 300k active members.if we get 250k we will be insanely lucky imo, tho i am just guesstimating.
  11. I wonder if the people who keep bringing up the graphics argument actually realize how horrible the EOC graphics are compared to other games out right now? Besides if private servers can have tens of thousands of players and theyre all ready and willing to play a stable game and move over, it cant really die out any time soon until jagex pulls the plug on this game for good. As long as we're bringing in a profit they will keep the 2007 game up, why do you think they are even considering this, they know this is a goldmine, even if for a year or 2 only.
  12. i fear this thread might self destruct on the 21st
  13. dont know who so wreck3d is but will be interesting to see what jagex will come up with
  14. if there was a way to do it without spawning the gp and it comes from players then sure i wouldn't mind.
  15. I don't think it will KILL hybriding, maybe the''youtube hybrids'' that pk in edgeville will be affected since you can't combo huge damage in a matter of seconds if you switch armours, but if your target is teleblocked you can still work him out of food thus keeping real hybrids viable, but we don't really know much about it all yet only time will tell.
  16. looks ... different, hopefully it will be an improvement
  17. all that guy did was mine rune ores and buy phats 24/7 rofl, wonder how many sets he has left now
