^ I think they're fine except for the lard one... the donut one might be in the wrong also. Any picture with language or explicit content can't be posted.. and by tip it's rules, I think that qualifies as language. Who am I though.. im no mod so im probably best not to ask. Just use discression though, if what was posted is questionable, best not to post it at all.
  2. I can proudly say that I have never written "lyk dis". Even the younger stevester of my past, browsing xanga journals, would despise it. WhAtS aLsO pReTtY bAd Is WhEn PeOpLe WrItE lIkE tHiS. Ehh I hate that ^. To me its even worse than the "lyk dis" writting because at least in that I can occationally get a laugh out of it. Im okay with the more common used abbreviations (lol, brb, g2g, imo, ftw, ect..) , but anything else is pretty much a big thumbs down. If anyone is having problems with a particularly nasty dose of leet speak.. you can always use this translator: http://home.no.net/hellshl/main/translate.html Anyone who actually uses that ^ , to encourage more leet speak style chat should be auto-banned.

The rise of the Mongolian Empire? Naa that wouldn't be for me. Too much movement and I wouldn't be able to stand in today's terms, their war crimes. Such as after sacking a city, decapitating every resident then making a mountain using their skulls. Or after a leader of a certain city wouldn't let Genghis Khan use his trade route, genghis after capturing him took molten silver and poured it into the leader's eye's and throught, making him swallow his "greed" If it were up to me, I would go back to WW2 in the Netherlands. My family back then were big in the Dutch resistance... (letting allied paratroopers land on our corn fields, using our house as a jewish safe house, disrupting nazi supply routes by blowing up their train tracks, ect.) not being a part of that is almost bittersweet. I could only wish to fight for the freedom of my country along side my family, yet not having to go through such war is nice. In the end though, WW2 is my choice. I doubt that helps you though heh.. if your into art, maybe being in paris art circles during the rise of impressionism? What are you really into?

  7. That's what historians do. They don't sit there memorising dates. They make valued judgements based upon the facts that they know. While I am not a fan of dates myself, (no pun intended) on the various AP tests for the various history's, dates is what most of the questions are made up as. Your right, history is all about judging the past, but when one opinion in the end is deemed as "right" and another "wrong", what kind of society is that? On most issues, history cannot come to a general concensus as to what is the right answer, so why now is the SAT allowed to do it?
  8. It was your 'life of a noob post'... it was supposedly a diary of your first days on rs, even though you said later that you made it months after playing rs and you made it up. On top of all that, it was littered with censor evasions and the whole story was written as such: Though mind you, what I quoted was your second post, you edited your first post.
  9. I personally don't like them, not because they're a pain (though they are), but rather I don't think that they accurately reflect what I know. My beef is with the sat 2 subject tests especially. How they feel that they can encompass a whole subject while still not being biased against certain ciriculum's is beyond me. You can call me a "history buff", as it is what I am greatest at and like the most about school. I am capitain of my schools scholar's bowl team (jepardy style trivia) and have been asked to give lectures on various points in history in the past. In ninth grade, on my world history final, out of 300 questions, I got only 3 wrong - that was without studying for the final for even 10 minutes previously. Such success was repeated in my U.S. History course in my junior year. Now my school is no slouch, as a private school it has a very hard ciriculum, and at the same time this ciriculum is okay'd by the UC's and the various people that run college board. So when I decided to take the U.S. history sat 2, I figured that I was probably going to do fairly well on it. I open my test and read some questions, and every single question is stinkin' opinion or 'eliminate the answer that doesn't fit'. Not a single question was point blank like name the *** of the ***. Still though, I felt that I might still be able to get a decent score. Later, I get the results of my test back. What do I get? A 570. Average. When I looked at that score I could only dream of how that could possibly "reflect what I know". Throw your stupid fill in the bubble tests away... give me an untimed essay and I can show you what I really know. Curse that stupid test *rant over* heh.
  10. ^ Is on his period

  15. I thought I was the only one  .
  16. You wrote that after shadow clearly wrote the above first, whether you ment it or not, it bashes his character. I don't see shadow starting anything in his post, it was you who indirectly refered to his. Anyways, I smell a hijacked thread.
  17. Mr. "king" of lost city, isn't that what you did with your old thread in general stating that you have finally come back? :? I still play it occationally, but I play a lot less than I used to. I just log on then and now to pick some cabs, ect. I just don't find it very appealing anymore.
  18. *wonders what a "stone" is* This year i've: -Moved -(Finally) Got my own room -Had my eye's opened -Grown (both ways I guess) My goals for next year is: -To grow closer to family -To learn more (learning for the sake of learning) -Go to college (i've already been accepted but.. yah) -Be more appreciative -Find more time to read -Go on the computer less
  19. Time for you to learn another thing before the year is over. Im no lover of Bush but blaiming him for the lack of help after katrina is just stupid. It was Louisiana's tardo governor who felt that filing her FEMA paper's days late was perfectly fine. (If you didn't know, its through these papers that one can apply for federal aid... we have a paper trail in the government this way federal money (hopefully) isn't spent on lame things). Without these papers, louisiana couldn't get any federal aid, but the governor must have felt that that wasn't very important. Because she was going so slow, FEMA pretty much said *screw it* and sent in aid even without the necessary requirements, they felt that people shouldn't die because of one tardo that won't do her job. Now, Bush (and various other people) are now overhauling FEMA and the way it operates so that recieving federal aid is easy for even the idiots placed in office. Like I said, im no lover of Bush, but if Katrina is anyone's fault, it's that stupid governor of Louisiana.
  20. Just a suggestion... maybe you can create a new thread and sticky it with the sole purpose of the thread being to report and inform of rippers? I know that I personally have found various rippers too, on runehq and various sites alike. This topic doesn't seem like it was made to report all rippers...

  22. Before I begin, forgive me if by editing your image like that, your offended (some people are :| ). While an excellent sig so far, this portion is the only one that just doesn't seem right to me. The fact that you can see neither of his feet really kind of throws me off a bit. In my picture, the archer appears to be sitting on the meleer's right leg... yet when we zoom out, we realise that he isn't. And as for his left leg, it is obviously under the 1/2 man's body. Since it is under his body, one would think that the right side of his body would be slightly raised, yet we see him laying relatively flat. Sure, in the shadows we can see that his body is off the ground, but it's the lack of tilt that makes it a bit unconvincing. Idk the above is just something that stood out to me, but I must say, great sig overall.
  23. Your wall needs some work.. as of now your eye doesn't know whether to treat it as a wall or treat it as more ground (and possibly maybe even ground thats lower than the ground in your foreground). Coins are pretty good... your treasure chest's perspective is a bit screwy though :| .
  24. There seems to be quite a few 'older' players posting here how there going about rs solo... just a suggestion but hows it sound if one of you made a clan just for older players? Im only 17 so it probably wouldn't be of much use to me, but it sounds like some of you might like one. Idk make it so that the only way you can join your clan's forums if your actually interested in joining the clan.. that way you can weed out youngin's looking to cause trouble. And instead of setting requirements by stats, you could do it by age.. say 25 or 30. If you start to have problems with people lying about their age to get in, you could always have one trust worthy person check the records of members. Just an idea.. but it might be a cool way for you guys (and gals) to find older age friends.
  25. NOW I REMEMBER! He was the guy I was trying to say! I wonder why Daverick came into my head... Lol my post first started with me quoting you... heh I was about to correct you and then I just thought naaa. Heh glad to see i helped
