No, because it attacks with magic. Steel titan attacks with melee and range, and because you are maining magic, is the best familar to attack a tormented demon, as it can switch its prayers to both pro range and melee :)

So how has the shadow realm mechanic been changed?

I don't see why they wanted to remove araxxor from the challenge when it was part of the soul reaper requirement

Does anyone else think there are far too many teleports to Prif? Right now we have 10 teles... 1. loadstone 2. clan vex 3. poh portal 4. fero ring 5, 6, 7, 8, teleport crystal to each 4 clans 9. max cape to max guild 10. spirit tree Assuming with batch two, there are going to be at least four more teles....

I was going to bring up MOBAs yesterday but it would have been out of place at the time :-P . Dawngate has basically the same control scheme but is infinitely less clunky. Maybe it's just me, but that bit of polish makes a huge difference; you don't really feel like you're losing clicks because you hit the inner corner of the hotkey instead of the center, and when you click to move you end up exactly where you intended to go. Ye, the issues with EOC is that a hotkey based system works very poorly in a .6s tic based engine, especially without custom lag tolerance. Even with good internet on my gaming PC there were times where I'd click away on Araxxor, and the game would finish a cast before moving, or run back into melee to cast another ability even when canceled, or the like. EoC is way better, as far as adding complexity, but it really lacks in smoothness and integration for high end bossing. The difference between RS combat and a game like LoL/WoW is insane. How responsive the engine is aside, there is simply so much more depth in combat in other games. But RS shouldn't focus on depth in combat. It'll never have it with this engine. That takes away a large part of the skill aspect, but makes gear correspondingly more important. Which is better for RS IMO. As someone who has dabbled in DOTA and other similar combat games... This is so true. If anything, the 600ms tick system makes everything feel clunky until you yourself start to run on a 600ms tick system :(

I think you might just be crazy.I see no difference between both modes... If anything, you are playing on separate worlds, it may be a ping issue No it's runescape server, net code, game engine problem. My internet and computer can play any other game with no problems. Play legacy/eoc on the same world, rather than playing on separate worlds.

Tried my hand at it, and 30 seconds per wave is very tough. Mostly boils down to skill... I don't like that. If it were 20 waves in 15 minutes, sure, or if it had a set rotation of spawns, and not LOL THREE TDS IN A ROW....

It's more fun for me. The choices are pressing buttons or clicking a mouse. They're both pretty mindless but eoc feels more smooth I click my buttons
