I would fully agree if this was asking for a major update, however this would not take long at all, assuming they based it on other __-x functions already in the game. Also, it would provide a benefit to members as well, even if it is a much smaller one. There are situations where P2Pers would use this. But I agree with others that not every update has to benefit P2P. We've had several updates that have been beneficial only to F2P in the past and after the initial rantings, nobody cared. And this one would likely come as an "In other news" post in a major members update, much like most F2P updates, probably because fewer people will rant about it if they hide it within the news post.
  2. To be honest, I think I would say it WAS worth it. I don't know yet, obviously, but with all of the people I've met and my social skills/confidence rising exponentially, I wouldn't take that time back for anything. This is just my view of it, of course.

I, too, would assume they eventually remove the servers. But that still doesn't take into consideration the fact that most people wouldn't go straight into paying for a browser-based game. But if they didn't they would lose because the ads wouldn't show and therefore wouldn't pay. Short-term, P2P boycott would have a greater impact, I agree. But long-term is the only thing that truly matters. In that sense, they are about equal. But I would really like to see some solid reasoning NOT to implement this idea. As long as it doesn't change anything but the number of clicks, it is not really a benefit, after all. Especially if it slows the experience. Make it a right-click-only option and it wouldn't have an effect on a normal player who doesn't want to use it.
  4. Try balancing both? When you start getting bored of one, go to the other for a while? I don't know how long it would work, though.

I agree it would have a nice impact in suggestions, and I would definitely show my support for it there, as well. It isn't a necessity, but rather a convenience. About the boycott, again, it depends on whether or not people still sign up for the free game afterward as to whether or not Jagex would take action. Let's look at it from both angles, making a few assumptions about humans in general: Obviously unless the F2P worlds were closed off, people would still join, but assuming they don't for a moment. All of a sudden, there are only a small fraction of the current population still playing. They have large quantities of servers making no money, costing them lots, slowly their current members get bored and retire their accounts. All in all, the game dies a slow and painful death. Now, let us say new people DO join. They start getting people back, but they lost millions. How many more people out there would be interested in a browser-based game that has that many empty servers?
  6. If Jagex implemented everything in this thread to F2P, I would consider them fools. Any person with half a brain would say the same. Obviously, only the popular suggestions, getting agreement from high percentages should get ANY consideration. And even then, very few would make it. I am quite content in F2P, and agree it doesn't need much, just a tweak to the combat triangle.

Since you brought up spelling... It's CUSTOMER. I'm not entirely sure what a "costumer" is, to be honest. Furthermore, where you said Kindergarden, it is spelled Kindergarten and Consummer only has one M. But on a more relevant topic, this was properly placed in the Rants forum because it was just venting in-game frustrations. It is not a true suggestion, the bury-x idea was to follow the ranting rules. But it truly is a good idea. It could be RE-posted in the suggestions board, but it was originally intended to be just a rant. That all depends on how you mean it. Are new F2Pers allowed to come in to the game still? Or are we saying nobody ever joins F2P again?
  8. 8/10- a lot but not everywhere I look.

    I concur.
  10. I agree on the tennis and boxing parts, but the bowling one isn't true, at least for me. I do better when I don't swing my Wiimote as hard.
  11. I'm really looking forward to buying this, although I won't just yet. I'm gonna wait until "birthday season" is over in September.
  12. I didn't really like it when I saw it. I guess it just wasn't my kind of film? Ratatouille- I don't know why, but I kinda like it. I really don't know why, though... 7/10 RATATOUILLE IS CUTE, THE RATS ARE CUTE. My favourite part was when the evil old man ate the ratatouille and you find out [hide=SPOILER!]that he was a child[/hide] Yeah, I didn't make it all the way through this time, since I had been up for close to 20 hours, watching it in the dark. But that part was a real eye-opener. Over the Hedge- Hammy is easily my favourite part of this movie, as he was likely intended to be. Some of what he says still makes me laugh. 8/10 for the movie, 10/10 for Hammy

My day off... And all I've done so far is listen to my mom and sister bicker. When my mom leaves for work, I'll be walking to the corner store for something to drink. Other than that, videogames and movies will most likely take up my entire day.
  14. 2/10- very rarely do I see you
  15. Need for Speed 1, 2 and Hot Pursuit were all very solid games. I have very fond memories of playing NFS2 with my younger brother on our PC. :P Yeah, the idea behind the games is a solid one, but how did they make this many?

  17. I actually kinda liked both when they first came out, but I've seen them too much and the jokes have lost some of their appeal for me.

I got up and went to a meeting with my union. We decided we want more money and better training. Then I went to my sister's Sweet 16 and then got my hair cut. It was a pretty boring day.
  19. It is clearly not dead. Mario's popularity is still amazingly high. I will, however, agree that they should return to making 2D games. And not remakes, just new ones. If they do not wish to return to 2D, then I say they should give up. Oh, and jumping on heads is STILL the coolest way to KO an enemy  Hehe, I still reckon they should do remakes to improve the quality of the original games, but keep them 2D. And I can't argue with jumping on your enemies heads  I personally don't think they should be so popular. Too many games :? I guess remakes would be alright, as long as they ONLY re-did the graphics. I just don't want to see them add features that weren't there in the original. I try not to, so I usually enjoy the newer ones. But I do prefer the old ones.

Apple juice is one of the few juices I can drink.
  21. Some games make more sense in 2D. And those ones are the ones I think should have remained 2D. Mario was at its best in 2D, although I admit there were good 3D ones. Same with Sonic. I think, at minimum, they should continue making 2D games, even if they make 3D games, too.
  22. I used to have that problem which is why I set it to friends. I just never really looked back.
  23. You still aren't understanding me right. I bolded more than I intended to. My friends do not work harder than me, they just work more efficiently. The only part I was saying doesn't work out is: I do not think of playing games as work at all. I do play for fun, which is why I do stuff like I mentioned in my last post. They play for fun as well, but they enjoy the grinding more than me.
  24. Or half pissed? :D Is this like the glass half full/empty thing?
  25. Meet the Robinsons- I still enjoy it thoroughly, after watching it at least a dozen times... 7.5/10
