I'm confused. If you add a name to your friends list and it shows up as something like "[#45857832}", that means it is not taken, correct? If that means the name is not taken, why can't I create a new account with the name? It says the name is not available. Are these names only available for name changes?

Same problem. My main account is fine, but I have another account I suspect had valuables on it. Paid the membership for it and it is stat wiped on tutorial island. I have so many pures that I'm sure had all kinds of items back in rsc, but I don't want to keep paying $6 just to check if it's still there. Wish they'd at least temporarily allow f2p accounts to log in.

Is arcane crashing or what? It went up around 10m or something after the magic update, but hasn't done anything since. I'm seeing all kinds of low offers on rsof for arcanes, but not seeing many low sellers. If it does crash, it probably won't be by much, right? I want to buy one for some motivation to train magic, but I don't want to lose 20m on it.

What's up with all these people who get 99 capes to "show off". I don't know about you guys, but if I see any cape, be it slayer or fletching, I don't care at all. I don't think to myself "Gee, look at that slayer cape. I bet that player put a lot of time and effort into their achievement. I'm so proud of him." I just look right over it, not even giving it a thought. I'm tired of people getting 99s just for the sake of getting a cape or trimming one they already have, but if they think that it's so important I hope they enjoy spending countless hours for a silly cape most people don't care about. Yes, I'd say combat is the way to go if you're looking to get the most out of the game, but you can tell I'm a bit biased. The most important thing is that you do something you actually want to do, not boring yourself just to "show off."

I've had an offer in for a zamorakian spear for nearly an hour at max, pretty hard to get right now. At the very least it'll keep rising for a few days, but I don't think there'll be a huge crash anytime soon. Might as well buy it right now before it rises even more. Karil top is pretty similar, I was able to buy one for about 100k over mid 20 minutes ago.

This is awesome. I held onto my ags, completely expecting to lose around 30m. Now it's skyrocketing again, along with nearly everything that started to crash. It only took what, two ge updates for things to turn completely around? Almost left my ags in the ge for min overnight, good thing I took it out before I went to sleep.

I don't understand why Jagex doesn't implement a system where you cannot gain more than your enemy risks. Simple, effective, and it makes sense. None of this removal of protect item garbage is necessary.

Gf ags I just bought for 81.5m two days ago, gonna lose like 70m. Is ANYONE happy about this update? I'll be surprised if it isn't changed. But knowing Jagex it'll take a month, and by then everything will have crashed completely.

Logged on to Runescape today, and notice I can't type anything into my chat box. Also noticed that no one was talking. So I log back in and notice I have a message. It says: "Our system has temporarily switched your account over to QuickChat mode. blah blah blah" Then I had to verify my date of birth. What's the reason for this? I've been playing since 2003 and have never received a black mark. I have no current offenses. My account is in the green zone. Is this because someone reported me or something? I haven't done anything recently to warrant me being switched to QuickChat only..

Don't find rs fun to play anymore so I'm going f2p. I'll probably end coming back in a few months but I have some questions so I don't mess anything up.. I have 1m spirit shards for sale in ge, they're about half way sold. Can I still leave them in the spot they're in and collect the cash on f2p? Or will they not sell on f2p? If I put my scythe in my house will I be able to retrieve it from the guy in Draynor if I ever want it, or would I have to buy members to get it back again? Do all the items I have stored in my house stay there or do I have to remove them before going f2p? And last how many bank spaces does f2p have? Thanks

I have around 55m to spend on crafting. I'd like to go from 62-99 without having to use any more than 55m. What is a fairly fast way to 99 crafting and around how much does it cost? I'm pretty sure people make green dragonhide bodies, but do you alch them or sell them? Around how much would it cost to make green dragonhide bodies to 99? If 55m isn't enough for green dragonhide bodies, what's another method? Thanks.

Repairing a gravestone only requires 2 prayer. Blessing requires 70. It's possible there was no one there able to bless it, but they could all certainly repair it. I don't understand why no one there even repaired it..
