There's almost no difference. The Chaotic Longsword is actually worse because it doesn't even have a special attack. I'd rather just buy a Vesta Longsword. Everyone is acting like this weapon is the end-all be-all weapon on RuneScape - saying it's like a one handed Godsword. With a Rune Defender, yeah, it's like a one handed godsword, that's slightly faster and has no special. You can also eat twice between hits. Or, you could just get a Vesta Longsword which is also a "one handed Godsword." Or, you could just, I don't know... get a Godsword? Really, the Chaotic Longsword is not as amazing as it's hyped up to be. You know why it's so good for Godwars? Because Godswords are... see where I'm going with this? Chaotic Rapier Comparable to: Nothing, but closest is Abyssal Whip Best attack: 94 stab attack Speed: Abyssal Whip Notes: See how close these two AREN'T with eachother? They are the same speed but the Chaotic Rapier has 12 more accuracy than the Abyssal Whip and 19 more strength. Last time I checked, strength was the most desired thing amongst the majority of players. People go for 300 Mobilising Armies rank just for 4 more strength. Did everyone suddenly forget how good the Abyssal Whip was and still is? It is THE weapon for almost everything, including a lot of boss monsters. So no one sees how the Chaotic Rapier - which has 12 more accuracy and 19 more strength - is the best weapon in the game now? I'm pretty confused here. Here's some more little facts: -The Rune Defenders highest attack stat is stab attack at 20 -The Ardougne Cloak 3 gives +6 stab attack -The Chaotic Kiteshield gives +2 stab attack and has the highest slash defense for a shield in the game (anti-CLS) -Dragon boots give less stab defense than slash, and considering almost everyone uses Dragon Boots... -Every used shield such as Dragonfire shield have less stab defense than slash Now, it can also be argued that almost all used armor such as Bandos or Runite have more stab defense than slash, but how significant is that difference between the difference in maximum stab attack with Chaotic Rapier? And really, an Ardougne Cloak 3 and Rune Defender aren't hard to get a hold of at all... so they can definately be counted in the equation for situations. Results Chaotic Rapier is like an Abyssal Whip on steroids Chaotic Longsword is like a Vesta Longsword on anti-depressants

+30 slash defense (and stab and crush, I don't know why we ignore them since they are both very viable options nowadays) is very significant. I actually can't believe I forgot about the Steel Titan and Iron Titans effects. So that makes Chaotic Kiteshield have even more blocking power. :shock:

All from 1 Steel Titans time limit. I'm 100% sure it's possible to get 200k Tokkul in the hour a Steel Titan lasts if you have overloads and go to an empty world. I did this in W99, extremes and 7% packet loss. Any of you have any idea how [bleep]ing annoying 7% packet loss is? Makes me want to [bleep]ing kill a [bleep]ing mother [bleep]er. But apparently it's 150$ more for phone internet and we currently have cable. Anyways, ownage right?

This is what we'll probably see from the serious people. They're not going to die in this, or at least be near invincible. Not sure whether people will use Zuriels the entire time and switch between SoL but we'll see. Personally I think 50% speed reduction is much better especially considering it works against range as well and not just melee.

How is this remotely fair? Zuriels staff and robes and a divine/elysian will win. These are the damn price manipulators too. So JaGeX is going to end up giving roughly 60$ for a price manipulator to stay in the game. Nice damn logic fail. They NEVER think. If any of you think anyone can win this, they can't. Not a chance in hell. Whoever can afford all of the amazing gear and thousands of miasmic barrages is going to win. I witnessed a game about a week ago and ONE person in tank mage gear such as veracs/ahrims was able to stop the entire defending part of the team inside their own base. That's like 30+ people he can tank by himself. This was with soul split and blood barrage and only casting miasmic barrage once. Considering that there's even better gear out there? And I'm willing to bet these people won't do it alone - they will do it with a friend or multiple friends. Now JaGeX is giving prizes to price manipulators how [bleep]ing awesome. :thumbdown:

And taking away usefull content. What is the definition of usefull content? Content that gets used lol. In a few weeks, if all the rewards are like that, I'm sure this update won't be used.

Yeah, like making it so EVERYTHING has a delay to eat. Imo nothing should have a delay to eat, or at least an extremely small one. One of the big reasons I like Castle Wars bandaids.

I've already gotten 2 off warriors in Al-Kharid. Ardy cloak 3, silence gloves and 85 thieving help. Also, note that abandoning a case will cause you to lose your summons. EDIT: Just scored the Drunk Dwarf's summons xD Why are they always adding useless content like this?

It's not the free exp I don't like, it's the fact that it's one of the most "kiddy" updates of the entire game. The game already isn't "cool" so to speak, but if I was seen by anyone hunting talking penguins that's just 100x less cool.

This update ruined my goal completely. I got 95 prayer, extremes, 99 summoning and was going for chaotic maul to wreak havoc on players in castle wars. Now you can use overloads and armor that takes literally years (5 years for best armor?) to get and has best offensive bonus over any armor in the game. Now I can I have to set a goal to wreak havoc defensively. Gonna go for chaotic kiteshield and rapier now and camp enemy catapult with a tinderbox. Woulda preffered maximum damage.

Pots suck, takes 20min to get 1 super set.

Would I be a troll to say that I WOULD call that an improvement? Ya dude the old outfit was crap, ugly as hell and an outfit that goes into the category of a noob player.

They are in shock from how terrible the body bodys stats are.

2 years ago when using them to get steel dragons for construction I'm positive you could make as many as you wanted.

you get some defence and smithing exp too R0FL! Such an awesome quest with an awesome reward/sarcasm. I'd rather use a bronze platebody LOL.

19 is a lot. :ohnoes: But for regular hunting and stuff I'd still use SoL. At DKS I'd bring Chaotic Staff only in case crashers, but I'd still use SoL.

Can I trade santa and onyx and cash for a red mask?
