I'm not a big fan of GPA's. They're used to turn people into numbers and tools to make the administration look good. Unfortunately, no matter how much that sucks, they're still important. Getting into college and possibly getting some scholarship money is kinda important. That said, I've got a pretty good GPA. I'm just not a big fan of the system. But try hard, it could help you out.
  3. I'd eat the moon. And... I guess I'd choose to be the top scientist in my field...
  4. Well yeah, you can't show infinity, but it can be understood mathematically. Okay, so I'm gonna not be lazy and show you what I'm talking about when infinity doesn't really mean infinity. Lets find an nth term here... Let n approach infinity... n! / (n+1)! = (infinity)! / (infinity+1)! Which equals infinity / infinity. Looks like infinity / infinity, which is undefined, right? Not quite. (n+1)! = (n+1) (n!) So... n! / [(n+1)! * (n)! ] = 1 / (n+1)! As n appraches infinity, the term equals 1 / (infinity) which equals 0. So, that's what I mean. Saying that those two infinite series are equal just means you're failing to simplify.
  5. Infinity isn't a theory, it's a mathmatical concept. Its also a theory... its impossibel to reach infinity of anything. Yeah, but it works in math using calculus. So mathematically, it's alright. Math is something humans created, so in nature, its not real. :P Yeah well, this is a mathematical question dealing with theoretical stuff. Which is lame, but still legal
  6. well equal is kind of weird, there are and infinite amount of both prime and regular, so its really a case of if infinity=infinity or not. which it does and doesnt. Infinity doesn't always equal infinity if it's not simplified. I'd dig up some calculus problems where infinity seeeeems to equal infinity but it doesnt, but I'm lazy. So just trust me on that one.

  9. Ehh, it just means that you're failing to simpify. Like in calculus, you often get an answer that seems to be 0/0 or infinity / infinity when it really isn't. So, you have to figure out how to simplify. Basically, it means your logic and equation is broken. Cause obviously since every number isn't prime, the amount of prime numbers can't equal the amount of numbers.

Oh man, someone inspired me to add on. I'd have to remember to buy like, 100,000 glowsticks and some strobelights and some techno or something before getting massively high and eating at the chinese buffet. That would be intense.

I'd go do... something illegal :anxious: ... And then go to a chinese buffet. All with friends, of course. Maybe see a movie, play some guitar really loud. It'd be fun.
  12. xcjunhyxe ,sgtvfbfc That was supposed to be 'Dude, w-t-f.' Uh, I got a few letters right.
  13. Which is LAME. It'll really depend as far as schooling goes. I'm not in Virginia, but like at my school, the math and sciences that each senior take are often very different. Like next year I'll be in Calc 3/Differential Equations, most seniors will be in Calculus BC, some'll be in precalc, some in algebra 2, some in remedial algebra... You get the idea. And I'm not taking science next year, basically because I don't feel like it. I've already got 4 years worth of science credit. I will have to be taking government, which seems to be common for senior year. If you get cable or satellite TV or something, you should have enough hockey  Anyways, welcome to the states. I don't think you'll have too difficult of a time adjusting, from what I hear the US and Canada are really pretty similar.

  15. Well adam, I dunno it could go either way. Of course its not like you have to have free time to cry, or just break out into crying if theres nothing else to do, but on the other hand, I know I get depressed a lot easier when I have the time to think about stuff too much. When I'm kept busy, I don't usually get depressed.
  16. DI was and is still way good, but I dunno if I'd say they're the best ever. I think BDK was, comparatively, stronger when it was in it's prime. But DI definitely has the longevity factor... I've always had a lot of respect for RSD, but haven't known them too well.
  17. Rofl, THC. That's cool  Umm... I don't have any problem with THC running after me... Yeah, I think you're right. Back forever ago, before i got involved with ZF, I made a clan called the Mystic Crusaders. I had actually used the name Mystic Crusader back in this other game I played, but Raimus of the Mystic Knights and some guy from the Crusaders clan decided I purposefully stole their name (Hadn't actually heard of either at that point, to be honest.) Anyways, I decided that it was more amusing to ridicule Raimus at that time than to make any well thought out political move, so, it was... interesting. Anyways, alls well that ends well, and I learned a lot from that. Especially not to put people in leadership positions in your clan just because theyre friends of yours... Yeah, bad plan. But that's a side story.
  18. Well, he probably won't. He'll just go chill on a hidden resort in Cuba with the rest of the world's immortals, like Mick Jagger. Honestly, if Mick Jagger was going to die, it would've happened already. He took so much drugs he just broke the system. Nice name btw. What do you think of '10,000 days'?
  19. Yeah bro, I led ZF back in the day, I'm pretty sure I'm talking about the right one  KTHXPWNED. I dunno, since I don't play anymore I just felt like I had to throw in a little obnoxious internet jargon for no reason. Naw, we weren't ever number 1, DI was at that point. I thiiink I was still leading them around late rsc, and that wasn't even ZF's prime, it was under gersh before it collapsed, I wanna say about a year into rs2, but I might be getting my times off. And then I had some issues with the parents and home life and had to quit and only was around occaisionally, but ZF wasn't number 1. Either way, good times.
  20. You go ahead and do that. And to everyone else, you're invited to my house for Dawn of the Dead and beef jerky. Dawn of the Dead was pretty cool... Except when I went to see it, it had already been in theaters for a couple of weeks so the only people there were us and some middle aged guy. It was kinda weird.
  21. Nice tie for Aussies, it's cool to see them advance. Hmm, I think I'm cheering for... Italy and Ukraine.
  22. I've got a couple of baseball bats... Never was any good at baseball though. Congrats on sparing it's life. I'll remember the badmiton racket thing if I'm ever in that situation.
  23. Internet sarcasm is hard to catch sometimes, especially when theres some people on forums that actually say something like that seriously  Except then, usually the grammar is worse. It's not like I was angered or anything, just thought it was stupid. Oh wait, forgot his first post. Yeah, my bad, you're a normal person.
  24. Yeah, thanks for being a jerk and supporting the stereotype. 'Cause we all know that holding your emotions inside is good for you and all... When one of my high school friends died this last year, I cried. Does that make me a sissy? I don't think so. However, Ernest Hemmingway is pretty manly. He bashed through an airplane door once... with his skull.
  25. Yeah. I don't have any cool examples like richpoe (good story btw), but I follow my instinct more than my head. Especially in tough decisions, I go with my gut instinct. Usually that works out for the better.
