your mage too low :) you can do barrows but it will be costly. as for amount, i use around 75 magic darts every run. for you, i'll say take 150 to be on safe side. maybe for first run take 200. get best mage bonus u can and good luck, cuz u will need it.

my best cmb stats are mage and range, but i'm still melee based. and i don't train cmb to get next lvl. i get lvl's by accident (doing barrows, quests, fighting monster for some drops)

Lagrange Interpolation is basicly n-th degree polynomial function that represents curve going thru all the data points, in the smothest posible way (so that curve has a derivative at any given point). it's used for estimating something based on previuos, known data. i wouldn't do only 4th degree polynomial for experience, it has way too big error for corect estimations. more about Lagrange is on google, who's intresting

This isn't true... lvl 55 65 75 and 85 mages all hit 18s with slayer dart. I have indeed recently started hitting 19s with slayer dart but I never hear of anyone potted 99 mage hitting 20 with slayer dart :shame: here is your picture. u didn't search good enough :) and i have my mage in 70's and i NEVER hit more than 17 with slayer dart, and i got last 3 lvl's in barrows using that spell. Formula is correct for determening max hit of magic dartd

i would say it should be at least 70+ to get in. and minigame like bigmoneyak described :) of course shops, banks, slayer master, or ability to ask any master (except burthrope) for assigment. i would be happy
