as of today, it is not acceptable but ... This game is mmoRPG, what that means is it should be ability to play evil in game, and that does not mean thieving from farmers or killing guards. I know it does sound bad, but face it, life isn't easy, and there is plenty of scumbags and other losers is life. Kids in these days tend not to listen what smarter and more educated people say to them. It would be nice in general to use alternative methods of teaching what is good or bad. Luring is one of those evil things that should be allowed in full RPG style game, but for it to be fair we need some sort of penalty system, so that people who decide to go evil road, could be punished inside game. Of course things like autoing, item trading for real money should be punishable outside game as it is now. Things like luring could be taken care inside game. However as of today we have no method to implement that so naturaly this kind of activity should be illegal in game. My .02

getting slayer/herb/farming/smithing/mining/mage skill :)

I think this is because of recent money drain, constructions, skill capes and kingdom. for me? it doesn't make difference, for merchanters, well i don't wanna be in their shoes right now ;)

+ highest herbs and watermelons. if you use all patches you should be getting exp fast

about two years. left with lvl 40 mining and 7 coals in my inventory with 100% fatigue. Came back is was already rs2. after few months left again for about year. then came back got members and still playing as of today :)

Jagex should stop releasing better, higher hitting weapons and such. Runescape is about to reach it's cap. How hard is to get cmb lvl today? if you have few hours, jump on PC train with whip and you get exp in no time. Soon there will no skills that are somewhat hard to train. I would say jagex needs to stop releasing new content and concentrate with improving old one. And to answer your question: i hope never. PS last "big" weapon was d2h, not whip

I would hope these topics aren't the way you will do your newsletter. I would suggest concentrate less on game play and more about community, MMORPG. Compare this game with other popular online games (use Google for research). Do section of fansites, relations with Jagex. Make interview with someone famous (axe man jack? :) ) Runescape in general is very interesting "thing" that is happened to internet, so it will be great newspaper as long as you don't go to specific details about how to play or your biggest achievements (you can add this at the end, or in editors word)

And the only problem is that there is almost no good merchants left. Today market is full of kids trying to make billions without much effort. These are the people that i don't like and sad they are majority in merchanting world. Personally i don't mind sell at lower limit to merchant because in that case i can sell it fast and still have my money, problem is that if i already selling dirt cheap there is always swarm of wanna-be merchants that trying to cut price for 20% more. I hate these people and they are the ones that makes regular people (read not merchants) distrust whole player class. Well that my .02

skill and your character is worth much more than money. So i would go with skill cape anytime.

why would you like lvl 100 combat, lvl 85 slayer or 100 mil total exp? well this is a goal for some people and they enjoy that. and it is worth to meet your goal and it doesn't matter what other thinks because it is yours, not anyones else. So does it worth to have 200 mil exp and meet your sweet dream? I think yes

selling is the single thing i hate the most. in general i don't like buy/sell anything anywhere, going to market worlds like going into jungle full of predators with bathing suit. i usualy hold my stuff untill i need bank space or money. then i try to sell by posting in forums. How does merchenters survive i have no idea. They can gladly keep that 10% profit of me :)

You can't imagine how much i agree with you. We have enough content, it's not like all player are maxed out or something (I'm not talking about all 99 skills). we need serious improvement in graphics, game play, renew old minigames, make them interesting. The only addition i would like to, is new bank. Thats all. i would be happy if next 6 month jagex won't introduce any NEW content. We need quality in this game, not quantity. my .02

i would like once a month update where all lvl's could enjoy, new minigame, area, city or new items. another week they could make one update like quest, long short, doesn't matter (most likely short, because long one would need nice rewards). Other two weeks they could make "Engine" updates, the ones we don't see but are needed for runescape as a game. One of the reasons is that i barely can run along with new quest areas and everything, now i have to think before i do quest, will it benefit me enough so i can drop what I'm doing now, and for most updates i say no. as for pking, if you fight against pures then noone will have those untradable items, if you fighting against non-pures, well you already have advantage and i don't see why you complaining. wow i'm kinda high :) 1537/89 = 17.2 well i'm not combat person and i like skills much more. I think higher than 16 is more skiller, around 15 are good cmb/total balance that has majority of people in runescape.

abbys, you make around 300k in hour if u good. over lvl 50 you make 8k a trip. just do math

if cash isn't issue then: Runecrafting-> world 16 fast free airs. find post in runescape forums for more information crafting -> f2p is only cowhides. smithing -> either smelt steel bars or make pl8 from them. iron would be a little cheaper tho, but longer. mage -> cursing works pretty well. prayer -> big bones from hill giants. nothing else

lvl 55 cmb with 578 total lvl's. Highest being 69 (mining), lowest: 22 crafting. And i'm not counting memebr skills. it was about 2 years ago, now i'm 89 cmb with 1530+ total lvl and only 2 skills at 59, rest 60+ :) p2p is soo worth it

Well this update hurt and profited people. It did hurt f2p players because it took easy money flow away from them, also rcers start complaining. However i don't think that it did huge damage to whole rune crafting community. It was huge money made from nature runes, and fast way to level with law runes. With high essence prices, there is no more free laws or making 500k in hour rune crafting natures. Well i don't think that skills should be easy to buy or possible to make huge profits with minimum effort. Of course this update made nice and easy way for lower level members to make money. Loosing some items to unforeseen circumstances is not fun and having ability to make those money back in no time i think is great thing. Macroes? They will always be here, ess, yews, ores. Just name it and they will use it to make money, also it might be even profitable to join members and mine there. Regular essence price raised because of supply and demand. Less autoers create vacuum in essence market that needs to be filled. Yes i know demand dropped too, but supply had more losses in this field. I think price is fair now for pure and regular essences.

@ metalica: People like convenience, and having everything in one place is convenient. I bet you rather shop in supermarkets and malls than drive/walk to 10 stores for milk, break and meat :) @ brave: Congratulations of not being hacked. Most keyloggers comes just from browsing wrong site or downloading ANYTHING that does not have digital respectable company signature, SS has safety signature of about 750 000 people (don't hit me if i'm wrong). You're part of tip.it community because it has good reputation in between players. I think as long as you download from OFFICIAL website, you will be fine. NOTE: i never was hacked either and playing since good old fatigue

The main reason why jagex wants to ban 3rd party is because stupid ppl cannot secure their own accounts and crying out loud after they getting hurt. This is nothing to do with most of 3rd party clients, but because we have plenty of low IQ players in game, jagex simply decide to ban it. SS DOES NOT give any unfair advantage, it gives convenience and pleasure to play. like most of other people said, try it once and see what advantage it gives to you.

Though I support SS 100%, people had brung up good points before about the world switching. Though it refreshes every 5 seconds, you don't need to be at your computer while it does that. I usually go back to the forums and wait for the world to load. Sounds like it's in the same group as AFK training and quite unfair. Jagex states in the rule somewhere that leaving your computer while playing is against the rules. I feel that choosing worlds falls into the same camp. quick question for you: does leaving log in screen and going to eat lunch is AFK playing? All SS does is keeps refreshing your browser, does that counts as playing? Heck no. @ makoto by quoting me you imply that if someone does something easier by using something that might be dangerous is unfair advantage, then we can say that abbys rcing is unfair advantage. I don't trust wilderness even tho it gives me shortcut to craft runes much faster. Does everyone who uses that is taking unfair advantage against me? No, i CHOOSE not to use because i don't trust it. Same with SS, it gives you convenience of playing, if you don't use because you don't trust, thats YOUR CHOICE, it's not MY unfair advantage.

i hope it will be Barbie :) sorry but we have too many easy ways to get exp, one PC is more than enough, clothes, sure why not, just make them untradable.

#1 would be construction - just look how many benefits we can rip from our house, my bank lost few rows due to holding boxes. #2 is royal trouble - great money drain that gives great benefits #3 and #4 are tied: lunar magic and recepie for disaster. Worst will be PC - for ability get huge combat in few days, that is simply lame

That the best point to those people who don't wanna try SS but just complain. you can always change pass one day, check out client, uninstall, scan you PC, change new password and see if anyone will do anything
