  1. For gilded altar you need 69 construction + crystal saw and teak shelves (i) with butler and about 2 mills for marble blocks and gold leaves. i got my pray from 61 to 67 in about 4 hours using alter. it's insanely fast Hunter. u need 4 trap boxes and 63 hunter, and patience. well they drop pretty good, but i'm hunting atm them and i hate it, but i only need few more lvl's and will laid hunter to grave for rest of my rs career.
  2. oh boy :) Construction: thats the best phat in game :). also gilded altar, teleports, teletablets, cheap armor repair, place to display your achievements. Yes it does cost a lot and gives no cash in return but i personally think this is the best skill in runescape. Farming: em tons of herbs? u need power thru and do not wait besides to patch, unless you want to go crazy and bored. 10 minutes ever 2 hours to get 30+ herbs. Also amazing money maker with rannar and snaps. However herbs are not most efficient way to lvl but it adds up. Also at high lvls you can plant mage trees close to bank. Hunter: I hate that skill but ... it gives great range exp if you use red chinchompas (sp?). still it's prolly the one skill where you're not guaranteed exp for your actions. i had blind times when i had to reset traps etc and have no exp for it because those creatures only trigger but don't go in.
  3. i hope it's not another skill. We have enough of them and old ones could use improvements. Jagex needs to star making quality products, instead quantity.
  4. Dear Editor, Thank you summarizing our lives in one nice article. I would love to give you high five and buy a beer (if you old enough). Awesome article and we can fit not just for Runescape but for our own lives as well. Look around and you will see that we are surrounded by stupid people (people, not persons). Anyways this Ditch of Stupidity won't change nothing. There is still plenty of dangerous places in runescape where people can be killed when they don't expect that *lumby caves anyone*. Problem is if Jagex decided to protect player with those measures soon we will have ditch around every monster and any place that can cause harm. "You about to be attacked by Evil Chicken. Click OK to continue". This Ditch won't solve problem, it will only give false sense of security for people that can't take care of themselves, and i believe any 13 years old would be smart enough to know what is true and too good to be true. Happy jumping PS. Pm me for beer :)
  5. i would say slayer with construction would be the skills with most respect. Construction is for amount money it needs and slayer is the only skill that does it is impossible to macro. mining deserves respect because it is really boring.
  6. Welcome back. Here is few things from my perspective: Good: Jagex finally introduced world switching. Improved some old content like traveler. New rune rock (frementink quest). BAD We became babies that needs to be looked over. (ditch update and whole set of updated for people that can't think) tons of useless content, quests and monsters. Noob invasion in runescape making turn of chat on friends, not just private. Happy scaping.
  7. blue drags. Cbow + 70 agility = fast fast cash. i could stay all day there and range them but there is other things to do.
  8. Jagex again has to babysit noobs. Next thins you know they will be asking for confirmation screen for attacking chicken and other monsters. And i thought this game oriented at 13+ years old
  9. i think it's a great update for few reasons: They need to make web page better in general and this might be a start. Finaly we have week without new content. Recently i could not continue with my training if i want to do all new quests (which are lame), explore new teritories and collect new items in my already crowded bank. Maybe next week we will have nice graphics update and then bracelets (the only update i'm looking forward). Kudos to jagex for improving content instead just adding half done new one.
  10. i shuffle skills: Thieving, slayer, farming (my favorite at the time), fishing, cooking etc. I don't set high goal like 99 because you most likely will burn out. If you go for cooking get first lvl 70, then take a break from it and train some other skill, go to cwars or pking, then go for lvl 80 in cooking. take a break, repeat. goal to get 99 is ridiculous because of vast amount exp you need to obtain. Chill out, relax and train skill when u want. lvl's will come faster than you think
  11. run airs in world 16. most crafters pays 1-2k per run and u don't need any ess. easy and no skills needed. If you wanna sit around and be rich, quit this game and look for another one
  12. it seems like hides are the best way. another thing that you can craft in bulk is jewelry, but you will be loosing money on that and without gems it's slow
  13. exactly, what are the chances of getting something good from it? i got a mystic hat once... oo big deal. you go their once and you understand it and thats about it. not alot of people use this place because of a few reasons. it costs 1k(i know not alot...) they have no control over who comes and the placement and division of items is not that good, or at least controlable which is something people like. now if only jagex would make something similar in POH, then it would be awesome. Idea is great but there is no control who will come and when anyone will pull lever
  14. you just pick up from another end next to bank
  15. take nothing but dds and full inventory of cakes. there is always pkers coming to course once in a while and if you're not careful, well they get your pots. keep your hp between 15-25 this way you get less dmg from traps. other than that, enjoy your stay in lvl 56 wildy
  16. tewas

    full dh

they are slow but these only options i can offer you with your skills. last resort is merchanting but i hate even trying to sell or buy anything, i can't imagine standing for hours just to sell items.
  17. well they have no good drops, but axe man jack has beautiful guide how to slay, you can find it in AOW

wcing or fishing. i know it's boring but that would seem best money maker for you. alternatively you can buy steel bars for 550ea, smelt into cannon balls and sell 200 ea. that 350 profit from each bar.
  19. i would just power to lvl 55 slayer then: equipt: full veracs with slayer staff, glory, ROL, pray book RDF gloves or mystic inventory: 1600 minds; 400 deaths; 1 click tele, spade, black body+chaps, flail, cbow, 20k, 100+ monks+ (n); 20-pppots (n), 2 ppots, rest food. each run should take 3-5 mins, u good for 20-30 runs in a row. without dart, get mystic, melee armor, range armor, chaos runes for fire bols, chaos gauts, 2-3 pray pots, fish, ectopial
  20. members are 5x easier to rain any stat given. well maybe mining is same, or smithing bars. Leave training for members
  21. TheKoolAidMan got point. get set that help you in your life. No need get guthans if you pend ages in dueling arena, or veracs to go for slayer. i have veracs and happy about it because it is huge help in barrows
  22. -which skills do i have to raise before im member, to which level and why? Have somewhat decent cmb lvl, finish all f2p quest, other skills in mid 40s + -what should i really do when i am a member? do quest for teleports and other transportation, do quest for new areas, weapons (dragon) and other quest-only items -what are the best monsters to train on, and for clue scrolls? i ahve to say slayer. during slayer tasks i get clues much more often than just killing same monster all the time -when i am a master of a skill, and got a acievementcape, can i still keap it in f2p (it will remain a achievementcape, it wont turn into a 'members item' when im f2p)? you can keep as members object, no stats and you can never take it off -which things do i got to have before i become member? cash, some basic food. thats it -which things i really need when i am a member? anitpoison, law runes and supplies for what u wanna do -which items are good to keep while turning back to f2p? there is guide in AOW section about that
