where to train
my stats are 83 attack 86 strenght 81 defense 84 hp 61 prayer 70 mage 72 range 58 slayer 25 summoning I have whip, dragon boots, dragon gloves, helm of neit, obby cape and obby shield (toktz) and a glory ammy. My gear is kind of weak, so I want to make some good cash while training combat! I can't afford barrows or a bunch of money on pray pots at the moment.

do we really have to have a 2 page discussion of f2p smithing? i think that's more suitable for f2p discussion thread.

I never thought telmom as a contender and now he is arguably the #1 player in runescape.

Nope, Toony can't be passed by effigies, I calculated it the other night. The next closest player is 150M Slay XP, who is at 152.9m exp, and even if his whole bank was filled with effigies (438) using all the lamps on slayer wouldn't even get him to 200m exp. i think he mean for dung

he's really close to 200m defense experience, and if you check his adventure's log, you can see he is currently training it, so he will most likely coincide his slayer achievement with his defense, and maxed combat, achievement.

that would be cool to see the remaining 3 skills to be maxed, all maxed at once!

200M in all Skills
Anyone can cook 1 fish per tick, its only 0.6 seconds. Sure, after an hour it might give them suicidal urges but the real hard thing is not the cooking of 1 fish per tick, its the cooking of 1 fish per tick for 500 hours. get a dictionary and look up the word consistent

200M in all Skills
Drumgun will argue this, but he is the least efficient out of the top15. He plays 18 hours a day but gets minimal exp gains. The only reason he even has the amount of exp he has is because he plays 18 hours a day, which is very unhealthy at that. If he was efficient , he could play half the time and half a life outside of runescape.

can we get back on topic? i don't like having to read through pages of dungeoneering statistics just to read a post that's actually on-topic.

200M in all Skills
Very insightful post /end sarcasm I don't think it will be zarfot. Even though most are rooting for him, you have to take in account most of his 200m skills are in buyables and quick skills, while others like suomi and drumgun have their 200m skills in slow and tedious skills. Zarfot doesn't play as much as them, and will probably fall behind by the end of this year I think. Not that i want one or another to be first, but the natural course of skill its that they become easier and faster, so i do think doing the slow ones now may be kinda of a waste of time. Because imagine that some new method of fishing apears that is 50% faster than the current one, Zarfot could then more easily and with less time achieve 200m on fish. I respect both of them, but i think the smart move is doing the fastest ones already first. To be honest, I don't think it matters what category of skills you decide to train first. You train a slow one, it takes you longer to get 200M exp. You train a fast one, it takes you shorter to get 200M exp. Train one skill to 200M exp, then the other to 200M exp, either one you choose first, you will get to 200M exp in both skills in the same time frame. We don't know fishing will get a 50% increase in speed or not. Fletching is getting a make x -> make all option which will in my opinion make the process of fletching, one of the easier skills, much easier and faster to train. I think whoever gets to 200M exp in all skills will be the most efficient (not play all day), training skills in a sequence that will benefit other skills later on and achieve maximum experience growth in a shorter amount of time, a large amount of GP to train the most expensive methods because in most cases they are the fastest methods (this would require to merchant) etc.

200M in all Skills
what people make up in some areas, they lack in others. By this I mean poor social skills and lack of friends etc, so they escape in runescape. It's ironic I say this because I am one of those people. I threw away a large portion of my child hood to play rs/rs2 and it has had 100 negative effects on my life than it has had 1 positive effect. Someone may read "200M exp in all skills" while I read "nothing but runescape for years". It may seem exciting at first to think someone will eventually achieve this difficult goal, but if you think of it from outside the runescape box, it's essentially a goal of someone who has decided to sacrifice a large portion of their life towards something with zero reward. Plain and simple, it's not a healthy life style to want to live, physically or mentally, or socially. And I know I'm in no position to tell a person how to live their life, but I can't help but think what is going to go through these peoples minds when runescape comes to and end. It's human nature to want to be recognized for something, and we're encouraging these people to be the first to this and have the most of that, but it comes with great sacrifice to these peoples lives. Playing Rs for 18 hours a day or training agility for 140 hours a week is detrimental. I have pretty much lost all my real life friends because when they were out partying etc during the weekends, I'd make up lies just so I could sit at home and play rs, and eventually they stopped asking me to hang out with them etc etc. /end rant
