I'm having a hard time remembering that.. Oh well, maybe it's because people ALWAYS played for 99s :) No they didn't...only when skill capes came out did people start caring about level 99. to be honest, people always played for 99's. it's just, runescape used to actually be challenging and it wasn't "buy stuff from GE and grind for a week" to get a 99. you had to work for your levels and that's why 99's weren't as frequent, because they took longer to achieve.

How would anyone realistically know this if jagex hasn't explicitly said anything about it(and they don't give us any important information on the ge)? Likely, as it seems to be true for partyhats, there doesn't at all need to be sales trough the ge for an item to update- offers active in the ge are enough, though how many and how long they need to be in there, nobody knows, and the numbers for it to update are likely very different for these items. Anyone else have difficulties trying to decipher what this person said?

tbh, i think hotkeys should be implemented into pvm and pvp. I am an avid D2 fan and I couldn't imagine it without binds going through levels. It simply opens up so many more viable doors for training. The only reason I don't mind so much in Rs is because I am used to not using binds.

umm.. no offence, but you're not even 100 combat. you haven't even begun to train combat yet.

i don't think it would be the same if suomi merched.

His account are from classic times yes, but the fact is that he did get 200M flet, 200M agil, 200M mining, 200M smith, 200M cook, 200M fishing and almost 200M mage in 2.5 years (actualy more like 2 years 3 months or so). He had no over xp's that matters in those skills. My point is he has been an active player since rsc. Of course it would be impossible to get 200M exp in a skill in rsc, let alone maxing every skill +200M experience. It was an incredible achievement to have max combat, let alone max 99's in rsc. To my knowledge, suomi had good stats in rsc, proving he would be a worthy opponent in this sort of race. I commend him for playing runescape for so long and having the patience to stay at the top of the highscores for so long (xp wise). If anyone will max, I think it will be suomi. I would have said it years ago, and a few years ago, the majority of the top21 were probably on tutorial island.

to people saying suomi got his skills in 2.5 years.. i'm pretty sure suomi has been a top player since rsc (2004) because i remember seeing his name in the HS back when i played rsc and I think he was top21 in fishing even back then.

lol i remember ranging guards in edge ville in f2p.. i think i got 50 something in rsc and that was decent.

I was at cave horrors but only got 1 black mask worth less than 1.1m now in 2 days and they are so spread out the XP rate isn't great.
