Main reason I hate the skilling weekend is it makes supplies for anything completely unbuyable and if I wanna train a buyable skill (which of course I do) I'm not going to have the money for it. Rich people are. On the first bonus weekend, I was pretty annoyed by the fact that I could not buy a single thing once it was announced. I had to collect EVERYTHING just to go pk for some money, or do some GWD for some money. I was trying to make money for 95 pray at the time and all. It really benefits the people who are rich though and can make money easily because they don't have a problem getting their supplies. Meanwhile I'm struggling to make money (GWD/TD luck is terrible right now with massive dry streaks) and so something that I'm going to want to train (probably summoning/herb/crafting or something) won't be possible. Even if I had money for that I don't think I would approve of this. Everything gets bought out and it just gets really annoying.

Wow, jagex, wow. Major fail. I've been a supporter of the new skill, but these item stat issues wreak of poor implementation and lack of caring. Which probably means it was originally meant to be a gravite maul. Thats exactly the stats as its listed on the KB though

It's not just good for tanking bosses. It's one of the most annoying tank shields in PvP/BH because you can't land dragonfire hits with dbolts on it, and the defense is good. Also, until you get Super Antifire potions, it's the best shield to kill drags with -- and training for super antifires costs a lot more than a DFS. It's also a KO weapon for summon tanks, lol, but making that money takes them forever unless you find a really good way to make money like my friend Maxed At 62 did. But yeah, you'll see it mostly for tanking bosses. It's the best shield that isn't really high priced and hard to get. Armadyl, Bandos (though tanks don't pull out a dfs very often), Sara (ranging, especially solo), Zammy, Dagannoth Kings, etc. are all places you commonly see people using a DFS. I suppose after you get Super Antifires you forget the uses of DFS though because you don't need it anymore. My friend sold his shortly after getting a divine because he has super antifires and never uses his DFS. Anyways, I think the fact that a lot of these chaotic weapons are 1 handed are enough to show how nice these will be when combined with a rune defender. In my opinion, it's like more expensive barrows that takes a longer time to get and is untradable. The only question is how much these items alch/protect for...

You can always throw up wrath/redemption whenever someone attacks you but theres not many ways to avoid death. And yeah, I talked about the Focus Sight and I'm not sure if Hexcrest is still glitched to only work on monsters with a required slayer level to kill them

Also summer pies with the Bake Pie spell are great cooking, the pies cook 1 per 1.2 seconds whereas fish cook at like 1.8 or 2.4? and its 100% success. On the topic of hacking, I got brute forced by someone with over 10k bots after 11 days of work. I was on vacation for 2 weeks. Came back, had an offense for bad language that had been found and applied as soon as I got the account back, therefore when I tried to appeal that I had been hacked, since i was on the account when the offense had been applied (but had not actually committed the offense), it got denied -.- Anyways. This is my luck at sara. 450+ bosses dry no sword/hilt... We get crashed... They then call for 2 more people. The pmod is talking a lot of crap so we stay until we have something to report him with because he's flaming nonstop. Ended up reporting him for asking if we were 7. :rolleyes: Found out portuguese world was open (first world we checked too, hilarious that they couldn't hop...) We did leave and come back in so that was -40 kc on the kc COME ON really? Second ever silver ore drop at sara I think, if not first Magic seed, not that rare but still rare. Yeah it happened before you couldn't log out with them, so he was able to hop and take it everywhere. After they did that it didn't happen again though it might - I saw a video where someone got a lent item into BH (and this was way after the original BH update) I doubt it though and it will take some really complicated stuff to do that, and the people that find that sort of stuff are a small group of the best buggers that don't leak anything.

I'm sure they made it like SC where if you log out with the item it gets deleted so you can't take it to pvp.
