Clearing everything but dead ends just takes a long time. 1 minute extra per room without a GD? No thanks. I mean, if the room has nothing but easy monsters and takes like 10 seconds to do and i'm not keying I'll do it. I'll also try to kill anything that I can 1 hit while I run by it. Why? A lot of reasons. For 1 it can help prevent the monster limit, and for 2 why not? I'm not losing time and I'm at least killing something. Getting a 10% level mod just isn't worth it for the time that it takes. Now if it was 20% for everything killed, maybe I'd consider it. This is why shadow silk hood is so great though, because you really don't have to kill everything. For an example of how much opening rooms affects exp, I was soloing a small and was only able to open half of the bonus rooms. End result, my experienced was almost halved compared to the floor before that where I opened all bonus rooms. My base exp was like 700 compared to 1300. That's a 50% difference and it takes less time to open all doors than it does to clear all rooms of monsters. Now, I will skip rooms every so often - if we can't find the key for the room needed and its only like 1 room possible meh just do the boss. There are rooms that are impossible which you have to skip too but that's not your choice. As someone mentioned earlier most bosses are easy to 4 man in a 5 man team - though some require a decent amount of food. Others are a joke (unholy cursebearer I'm looking at you). This is a good idea to do when you have a little bit of the dungeon left and your keyer can go do work while the rest kill the boss quickly. Now for c1ing, that's your choice. However, with 47 prestige, even a f1 5:5 large will give you about 45k experience. f30 gives about 63k with 45 prestige, I can say that. You can pretty much large anything you want. I will say that c1 in f2p is definitely really easy. Off topic: I was randomly soloing c6 small on the high floors for prestige and found that runebound behemoth is super overpowered on a solo :| no matter what I do I die many times, and I had it multiple times. Doesn't help that if you deactivate crystals while its using the spec it doesn't work.

Divine Spirit Shield and Elysian Spirit Shield both lower damage taken, and have no attack negatives. You need the quest to wear these shields. Dragonfire shield's strength bonus is very rarely relevant because most places where you'd use it for that, you can use a defender instead. Anyways, IMO, bottom line of making quest rewards really good is that it ruins the economy and weapons/armour will lose a lot of value because you'd just be able to go get your quest stuff back for free, or maybe a little cost, but still. It also ruins pking because you can't get those items that they pk with and they can get them back easily.

Anchor. Actually anchor's really been underrated as a cheap ko weapon in non +1 pvp worlds. Anchor costs 230k, and DH axe costs 740k. Anchor is +92 crush, +100 strength. DH Axe is +105 slash, +93 crush, and +105 strength. You can use it with a DH set but thats an extra 10m. Add a granite maul to the anchor and you can get some really deadly KOs. Banna Deamon actually has a video which has quite a bit of anchor/maul. I'm gonna be trying it myself soon too. Also, it's the highest strength for a 60 attack weapon other than corrupt PvP weapons, but again those are very expensive due to being a 20 attack requirement. This is Banna Deamons video. Fair warning, the lyrics contain obscene language. And no this isn't meant to be advertising, I'm just saying because it's proving my point that anchor is actually underrated. EDIT: Back onto the items OP talked about... Legends Cape. Very good, cheap cape. Obsidian capes are 90k, and Legends cape are just a little less defence but for a lot cheaper. It's great for edge pking, save yourself some money when you die (everyone dies eventually so yeah..) Dragon sq shield, it's nice and cheap with good defence, though it has a high alch value. The mage and range attack negatives are a lot less than those of the obsidian shield. I rarely ever use obby shields, even pking. Even in +1, I'd rather use a rune kite, cause obby shields are expensive as hell. White armour is 10 def and you only need to kill knights to buy it from the shop I'm pretty sure. I do disagree with the knight killing requirement - though it makes another version of black armour easier to buy, so its nice for 10-19 def pures.

More inspiration to get 99 dungeoneering I guess. Does anyone have the source that says that they're probably going to lower the number of tokens required to buy a weapon BACK? Either way I'm getting a rapier now, along with another arcane stream. Long road but it feels like its going to go a lot more smoothly and quickly now.
