Jagex HAS tried to patch this before old wilderness came back. It didn't work. Just saying, they're going to look at a way to patch this.

thing is they find you anyways, I'm sure when they created logs they created a program to search the database's logs with very specific things that happen :P Who knows maybe they got reset before the vid was even up. The bug was fixed before the video was created I know that.

Well I was talking to a friend who's identity will remain unknown. They are secretly working for a gold farming/power leveling website and they told me what Jagex is actually doing about RWT'ers. Note that this is also happening to some glitchers that make money off what they do. Jagex is actually resetting cash and items from RWTers and some glitchers. Yeah. The same person has actually messed around rwting and bought a little cash themselves, used it to pay crafting. They got a cash reset, their crafting supplies reset, and their crafting level reduced, as well as about a 30% decrease in some other stats. They've also had a customer who has complained about randomly losing their cash apparently. Also, Quint, one of the bug abusers of the staking healing bug (where you healed to full and got full specs) got most of his earnings from staking reset as I've been told. So what do you guys think about this? There aren't a lot of cases of this going about so I assume Jagex is holding back to make sure they are being careful. Also: No, I do not RWT, I randomly met this person through RS and I've known them for about 4-5 months now. They were also high up in the botting community for a while. I've got legit sources. Really? I was using Draynor for 2 hours +, didn't see anybody lol. The only problem with some of these spots: 1. Draynor tele spot is multi but 2 steps and you're in single... but still you can get speared back in. Though most people won't know that. 2. Lunar Isle is multi throughout the WHOLE island. Mind you those 2 spots rarely are pked at but still... if you get caught thats dangerous

What Jagex should be doing is ruining accounts that are botted by actually looking at them. 99 str 1 def all botted? Throw him 50 def with no quests. 50 def is like 1 or 2 hours work, its not like they're giving him a huge advantage. 50 to 10 def on the other hand is impossible and causes things like turmoil and bgloves at 10 def to be possible. Bgloves and turmoil etc at 40 def? Remove the quests. The problem is they rarely have the time to look at all accounts that are botting just because of the numbers of botters. And I doubt they take the time to go "okay is this person a pker, so lets give him stats that will ruin that and take away quests" Course this could all be fixed if jagex would reset quests as well as stats. Also who cares about a level 8 with a fire cape. What impact will that have on the game? OH GOD A LEVEL 8 WITH A FIRE CAPE HE MIGHT WTFPWN US ALL. It's a damn cape. And what low level in their right mind will be willing to risk that until they get to the point where they can get it again with their stats? As for a low level with a cape There you go a level 4 with a fire cape. Woohoo. As I'm saying its more of a big deal when low def gets turmoil because they get a huge advantage. Fire capes take a while to get back and hardly any low levels will be willing to risk that pking. Bgloves are easy, you buy them back. Turmoil is forever. You can lose that by losing prayer levels but a botter could just bot the cash back really lol. Thats another thing, they should reset banks too. Most botters now do it for cash more than stats I believe.
