As you didnt have accept aid off it is 100% your fault and i have no sympathy for you at all. Recently i lost 12M+ at barrows but i made it all back and more in just a few days barrowing so that might be worth a try for you, good luck whatever you do.

Yea, and let's say you did get the d2h drop, you'd have to book it to the Mage Arena bank OR get to whatever wild level it is when you can tele. By the time you'd reach either of those spots, it could have gone through 10 pker's inventories and still switching players. :? Drop everything (except the d2h of course!) and protect item :P Pray to god the pkers arent clever enough to smite

He was a great guy and loved by many here and on a few other communities... so just be carefull because your ignorance may offend some of the people who knew him well. OT: Who knows.. I doubt the account would have ever been used again anyway, but i agree it would be nice to be able to look him up and admire his stats/remember him.

i got my first item after 16 trips. For all you who havent had an item i suggest keep trying, recently i had a 50 trip dry spell then in under 10 trips i got torags legs (sold 830k) , guthans helm (sold 3.4M), guthans helm (sold 3.2M) and torags plate (sold 1.4M) (second guthans helm was in same chest as torags plate, and was my first trip after getting the first guthans helm)... it was worth it :P .

umm... well the other day i saw 2 level 95's convincing a level 80 something to take on dharok at barrows, even after he had said he had no prayer potions. I added him, told him what they were up to and gave him a prayer potion. Last week sometime i was buying a whip in world 2, i traded with a level 119 we both put up our items and last minute he took away the whip in an attempt to scam me. It was only after he noticed i had put up 4.3 and not 3.4 (by accident) that he spam traded me convinceing me it was a great deal. I use the general store approach to barrows and earlier i was dissapointed to see a level 114 hanging around buying peoples prayer potions. After taking my potions he said "Haha noob! well the store was selling it...." A few weeks ago i was going to charge some glories wearing my range gear and the Blue Dragon was very tempting so i killed one. while collecting my hide bone and arrows a lower level logged in and as i made my way out of the gate he kept closing it on me... trying to get my ranger set, archers ring... what ever else i ahd fall to the ground. I didnt have teleport runes so i just hid in the safespot till he left. I consider myself generous person and occasionally i empty the stuff in my bank that i dont use and give it to a random lower level player. 90% of the time the person asks me for more things or starts yelling out "free stuffs plz1!!!!!!!!!11111!" and i hate that because i am trying to help other players and just end up making more beggars. These are the things that stand out the most to me at the moment but there has been alot of things.

I never had the pleasure of talking to Shiva but i have always admired his posts and they were always worth reading. He was a clever, respectfull and mature person and i know he will be sorely missed by this community and everyone who knew him. R.I.P Shiva

If you look at the screenshot i posted i take noted lobs prayer pots and cash, then i use the general store to un-note the items. If i listed multiple deaths it would be 2 sets of ahrims, just under 200 pots....in a week. I have just been very careless, been a little distracted lol. I will be going back... just next time i'll take mystic :wink:

Off topic: Well... i just died again rofl lost ahrims no staff, infin boots and gloves, glory, 66 noted pots, about 200 lobbies, 800ish deaths, 4kish minds, around 55k cash, and just over 1k chaos... oh yeh and the karils coif i had just got. My girfriends fault... shedistracted me just after i clicked to open a door, karil popped up and i looked back at around 20 hp, couldnt eat lobbies quick enough.... i'm prob the first person to die at karil lol. Who would guess rune protects over ahrims?

i use Addy or Broads... but you wont need to buy alot i take 100-200 usually lasts untill i bank. Broads are about equal to mith or addy and very conveniant if you bank at canifis (slayer master). Never seen you there valor, im guessing you dont use world 9.

i use about 6 doses a trip, but i dont bank so i dont recharge my prayer every trip. It could be done with no prayer pots on anceints but i tried that it ended up costing more in runes per run than it would in prayer pots so i went back to magic dart. Also last time i went on anceints i was running a virus scan... lagged badly and got owned (you may have notice i die alot :oops:).

It is a slayer staff, 55 slayer required to weild and you need it for magic dart spell.

i dont bank between trips and this was after some trips. I only get 6 kill count thats why there is no bloods or racks incase you were wondering.

Its 55 slayer for magic dart but well worth it. Also dont give up i average an item every 15 trips or so but if you have i dry spell it usually means your due for a few good items. I have spent alot on supplies for barrows but it was worth it and i have made a fair bit of profit.

I died about 10 minutes after taking this screeny, kept Torag plate, Torag legs and obby cape lol. I got really annoyed almost quit, borrowed mystic from a friend went back and got Torag legs, Torag plate, 2 Guthan helms, Karils coif and Veracs helm after 50 trips so i'm now back in business. Also i take infinity gloves and boots now and rune instead of torags.

I have done every barrow trip at 6kc only killing the brothers, but i will try this and cant wait to see your data for 30+ KC.

I'm not sure about this and i agree with valor, but as i type i am fishing/growing ranarrs for another day of barrowing so this time i will get some kc and have a look. Happy to help you prove/disprove this theory. Kudos for the well presented post 90% of tip.it'ers would have just came out with "Z0mg I lyke kild a skeleton and got sum deth roons!!!!!1"
