Alright, maybe if any of you can give me an example of something other than RuneScape where ghosts appear in, where you need a stupid amulet to talk to ghosts, I might take your word for it. But so far all of you have just said "It's fictional so it doesn't matter." At no point did I ever claim that ghosts are real. I am comparing these with ghosts that appear in other form of media. And for the record fantasy creatures NEED rules to be considered the proper one. Why do you think the Twilight movies are hated so much?

I'm talking about most form of entertainment ghosts DO exist in. I literally can't think of anywhere else besides RuneScape where the character needs some stupid amulet to understand what a ghost is saying. Superman can talk to the ghost of his biological father just fine. And Luke Skywalker can talk to the ghost of Obi-Wan Kenobi just fine. Also, none of what you said was really an argument against what I said, since you didn't explain how it makes sense.

Don't worry I haven't given up entirely, I will do this again with a guide soon, I'm just taking a break as of now.

Thanks for the tip, but I'm sure that as long as I follow a guide, I won't have to get Guthan's armor. Besides I got 35K sharks in my bank, and as long as I know when to give up, or look for help, I'm sure I won't even have to spend 2K of them.

That's it, I'm out of this place. At the top of the fact that the puzzle is extremely difficult, these damn shadows are draining my sharks so fast, I will be out of sharks in no time if I keep this up. And I need them. So yeah, I am giving up on this quest, as of now at least. I might go back to it some other time, but I do need a break as of now. There is absolutely no way I can open the final door, I tried everything, nothing worked. At least not without blocking the access to the final blue door, which I also need unlocked to get in there. I might give that guide a chance when I play the quest again. But I'm not playing the quest as of now.

Well, I guess I have no choice but to use a guide, I wanted to avoid it, but I am totally stumped. But the reason I don't read a guide is because I'm worried if I do, it could contain some spoilers, how can I read a guide and avoid that?

There are more than 2 chests with mirrors in them. Oh that must be the problem, I haven't opened all the chests. Thanks, I'll go hunting for more chests. Oh and I won't be reading the guide unless I really really need to. I wanted to find most of the stuff out myself, and I will for the most part.

Alright, this is how I did it. Keep in mind that I have all the mirrors available as I have unlocked both chests. North, east, yellow crystal, north, east, upstairs, west, south, east, then it reaches the room where I can unlock the blue door. Is this good enough for you?

So I'm in middle of doing the quest Mourning Ends Part II, and am doing the light maze, I'm doing good so far in fact I have reached the room with the final pillar. But the problem is I can't think of a way to unlock the final door without blocking the blue one leading to that room. I have used all the mirrors, and one yellow crystal. Meaning the lasers are red. I tried using the blue crystal, and even though it somehow works, I still can't access the room leading to the final pillar. Can someone please help me? I have been trying for over a day, (not exactly, since I don't play 24/7, but it's still around 5 hours, which is quite a lot.)

Not exactly, they used to be useful if you wanted to kill a monster from a long distance without having to waste any runes or ranged weapons. But that's not the case anymore since there now are barely any monsters that only use melee. Granted, using a dragon halberd was a slow progress, but it was still worth it, especially if you have patience like I do.

It's hard for me to see this as a serious problem given that a. we're talking about stuff that's strictly cosmetic with no in-game benefit, and b. you can buy it all with in-game gp. Wait I can? How? When I went to Solomon's Store most of the items there had the currency RuneCoins, not in-game coins. If you can tell me how it works, I would be grateful.

To be honest, it's not that huge of a deal to me since there is nothing in the game that looks better than dragon armor. (in my opinion at least) It just bugs me a bit that the overrides cost real money. And for the record, it might not be Jagex's fault, but it's not my fault either that I don't have infinite money. If I did buy all the overrides I'd be bankrupt in less than a week, and that is a problem with ANYONE who isn't a trillionaire, don't deny it.

I personally can't stand "runecoins". Jagex needs to realize that not all of us can afford to pay 100s of real life dollars. Those of us who have limited money can't buy even half of these overrides. Which does bother me. Yes, I like to wear my dragon armor 24/7, but I'd like to at least try the other overrides for sale.

Seriously, that's stupid. It makes no sense to give the ability to switch between those while not giving us the option to use the old designs of armor and weapons. I mean don't get me wrong, I'm used to the current weapon/armor designs, but this just doesn't make sense.

"Old and new"? What the heck does that mean? Does that mean I have the option between picking between the trimmed and untrimmed version of the cape? Why the heck would I want to have an untrimmed cape? The trimmed ones look way cooler.

Amulet of ghostspeak is the dumbest thing ever. In all other form of entertainment, and I mean ALL OTHER FORM OF ENTERTAINMENT!!!!!, ghosts speak plain English. So what the hell is up with needing a special amulet to understand what ghosts are saying? It's beyond dumb.

I remember when I used to go to Taverly dungeon to use a dragon halberd on the black dragons there. Yeah, sure it was a slow progress but it was worth it since I saved a lot of food since I could kill them without having to waste any of my food. Of course that's not possible anymore because dragons now use magic. Not only that greater demons use magic as well, in that troll town cave. So do halberds have any use anymore? I am not getting rid of my dragon halberd any time soon because I collect weapons, but I have a feeling I will have no use for that except being in my collection.

Yeah you're right, it doesn't make much sense, but the fact it doesn't is the whole beauty of it.

To be honest, I do find it annoying that I can't see who the person is who posted the lastest posts in each forum without clicking on it due to the fact that I'm playing RuneScape while browsing the forums, which is what I do all the time. So I completely agree it needs to be changed.

There should be a stickied thread for minor annoyances. There have been times when I had minor complaints, but I couldn't really talk about them as they aren't worth making a thread about.
