  1. Also, why is it such a big deal that I question some of the advise I get? Apparently according to a lot of you, if I don't agree with everything you guys say, I'm a terrible person. That is an awful mindset that makes me trust this community less. I'm sorry, but if you guys are just gonna say everything I do no matter what is awful, and claim stuff that clearly isn't true (such as the fact that I ignore all the advise I get.) I can't trust you. I am trying to be as nice as possible, and trying to explain where I'm coming from. Whatever, I'm done with this thread, since I apparently can't question anything without you guys assuming the worst if I don't agree.
  2. How is it my fault that someone gave Bandos to me? I never asked for it, I was gonna buy it myself anyway eventually. Alright, let's say I repair drygore every four hours or less. How much would it cost me? If it's nowhere near million, I might take it into consideration. The reason I wasted so much money when repairing Verac's is because I waited until it was at 0, which took about a week to happen, so that was a mistake, I would have saved more money if I did it more often, I am willing to admit that. And no, you are wrong in assuming I ignore all advice I get. If that really was the case, do you think I would have changed my mind on Holiday events I did recently? No, I wouldn't. I don't mind that you call me a troll, but saying I'm close-minded and never listen is wrong.
  3. I get it, you guys don't like the fact that I dislike degradable items, but I have my reasons for not liking them and I'm sticking to them. There is no need to prove further how wrong I am. And for the record I'm not wrong, I used to have a verac's helm, and got rid of it after realizing how pointless it is to keep an item I have to pay to fix every few hours. Most monsters I fight are simple to kill anyway.
  4. That doesn't explain the purpose of the damage stat though. It shows you the maximum unboosted hit of the weapon. And don't worry, I'm not ignoring any advise at all, I will be getting that whip in the near future. You mean other than the drygore advice? I didn't ignore it, I just don't agree with it, there is a difference. But that would mean I would have to stop fighting monsters for a while to cut trees, mining, or something like that, to get the money back for the degraded item, which is something I don't wanna do.
  5. That doesn't explain the purpose of the damage stat though. It shows you the maximum unboosted hit of the weapon. No it doesn't, I am able to hit 1,500 damage multiple times without abilities with a dragon battleaxe and the damage stat says it's 800 something. And don't worry, I'm not ignoring any advise at all, I will be getting that whip in the near future.
  6. That doesn't explain the purpose of the damage stat though. Good point I guess.
  7. Alright, I'll get that abyssal wine whip thing. It shouldn't be too hard. Oh and can someone tell me what the hell is the point of the "damage" stat is if it doesn't mean jack shit? If it makes no difference which weapon of the same metal I'm using, why the hell even have the damage listed?
  8. Yes, it is a big deal to me since I don't like having to pay every couple of hours just so I can use a weapon/armor. I'd rather use my money for something else. By most powerful, I mean which one has the most damage, not the most accuracy, so the abyssal vine whip isn't really what I'm looking for. Since dragon battleaxe causes more damage. As for that sword, well even though I probably haven't done the required quest yet, I am willing to try. that's not how damage works in eoc. Dragon battleaxe deals pretty much the same damage as dragon dagger for example. The damage is scaled when using abilitys. All that matters is the level of the weapon. I'd suggest saving up for drygore weapons.. Drygore is level 90. Korasi sword is level 78. Abyssal Vine Whip is level 75. Dragon is level 60. Mithril is level 30. Now imagine how much more damage drygore weaponry deals? It's basicly the same jump as between dragon and mithril. Well according to the RS wiki I have to pay million at least every 12 hours or so for Drygore. I'd be somewhat ok with having to pay 120K coins every once in a while, because at least I can make that money back easily. But over million? No, if the item is degradable and it costs millions to repair it, I avoid it at all costs. I don't wanna have to cut trees, mine, fish, or any of that just so I can make my money back quickly, it's tedious.
  9. I didn't realize that one of the people who gave it to me was a member of this community. "One of the people" Alright, that was a poor choice of wording I will admit that.

  11. Why are we talking about the april fools pranks here? Shouldn't it be its own separate thread?
  12. Thanks to overrides, I can still use my trusty dragon battleaxe without actually using it, so I don't have to worry about not using it.
  13. After April 6th, I'm thinking about doing the quest Mourning's Ends Part II, but maybe I should try this one instead. What do you guys think? Is it worth it?
  14. Why would I want more lamps? I already get free xp on a regular basis through treasure hunter, so no loss there.
  15. Which last one? I already completed the event. I know that imp is offering me an extra lamp if I make like two more of these things whatever they're called. But I don't need that, I already did the main event and that's enough for me.
  16. I doubt the egg puzzle is much of a puzzle. I managed to successfully do it by just jerking around with the eggs, and that's it. It took me some time, and some of the eggs were broken, but the fact I managed to finish a puzzle I don't fully understand proves that it's not much of a puzzle. On the plus side I finally got 99 HP, so my thieving cape is now trimmed.
  17. Really? Wow, I can kill over 5,000 red dragons in that time, and red dragonhides are worth more. EDIT: Alright, that is a huge exaggeration, but still I can get red dragonhides more easily, that point still stands.
  18. At my fishing level how long would it take to fish 1,000 sharks?
  19. Well, I'm going to talk about the event itself. Apparently thieving is needed for it. Does that mean that only members can finish the event? Thieving is a members only skill.
  20. To be honest, if I really wanna put a santa claus in a RuneScape video, I can easily put it in there with an editing software. And before anyone gets the wrong implications, I'm not referring to editing the game itself, just the video clips. I would never break these rules, not even if they weren't there since I know there's a good reason for them. Not only can I make it as good as I could if I were able to wear santa suit, I could make it even better. I don't hold a grudge anymore, in fact I am gonna enjoy the Easter event while it's here. I can go back to fighting steel dragons any time, but Holiday events are only once a year, I shouldn't do them for the items, I should do them for fun, that's the whole point.
  21. I didn't realize that one of the people who gave it to me was a member of this community. This does make me appreciate this community more.
  22. First of all, no. I don't expect anyone to find the proper outfit for me. I just would like to make a fun Christmas episode in RuneScape about once. And yeah, I am a hypocrite for complaining about this despite stating many times I would never wear/hold something with no stats. I just wanna try, just once, make a RuneScape video where I am in a Christmas outfit. But I can't. This isn't a huge issue since I rarely make Christmas related RuneScape videos, but it still is something that makes me have such a grudge with Holiday events in RuneScape.
  23. Never mind I managed to get there without turning that annoying tutorial on. So I'm unlocking the lodestone now. The only ones left are ones that require quests.
  24. For future reference, is any way to visit Ashdale without turning that annoying tutorial mode back on? All I wanted to do was unlock the lodestone, which I haven't done yet, and got sidetracked by that annoyance.
