Thanks for the feedback. I just did the quest then so I was able to check it all out. Handing over the essence and enchanted emeralds after the third step is quite handy if you need the inventory space, so I've pushed that step up a bit in the guide. He doesn't let you use steam runes from the grand exchange. I'm guessing the game checks to make sure you make the runes after that point in the quest, so no changes there. Added in the tips about colours changing and all that too. Thanks again, you've been credited for your help.

Heya mik, thanks for the correction. You're right that piety does have a requirement of 70 defence. I've went ahead and made the following changes: Added 70 defence as a suggested skill in the Nomad's Requiem quest guide. Mentioned the 70 defence requirement at the bottom of the King's Ransom quest guide. Mentioned the 70 defence requirement in the Prayer skill guide. Your other points are great, but having not done the quest yet I'm unable to confirm them myself so we'll wait for confirmation (or until I do the quest :)). Thanks for your help so far.

Quest Corrections Tip.it aims to provide 100% accurate information, and your feedback and submissions help in achieving this. This is particularly important for quests, as they can only be completed once on each account. This means that once a crew member has completed a quest, we are unable to confirm the submissions ourselves. This is where you, the tip.it user, can help. If you see something that needs improving, correcting or updating, post a thread here letting us know about it. Also, if you see someone's submission, and haven't done the quest yet yourself, check out what they said and see if you can provide screenshot confirmation for it. Both submitters and confirmers are gratefully credited in the guide! How to Help As mentioned above, screenshot evidence of submissions is so important as it allows us to quickly make changes to the quest guides. There are no formatting requirements for confirmation pictures, as long as we are able to see the proof. For help with uploading images check out this thread. When following a quest guide, submissions may include things such as the following: Parts of a quest that have been changed due to a game update. Parts of the guide which may be unclear or confusing. Better methods for a certain part of a quest. Correcting any mistakes that may appear in the guide. Items that are no longer needed since they are already in your toolbelt (some items are still needed, some aren't). Parts of a quest where lodestone use would be convenient. Images in the guide which need updating (see next part of this post). The above is not an exhaustive list, and all submissions won't necessarily fall into one of the above categories. Updating Images The quest guides on tip.it include images which can sometimes become outdated due to graphical updates. Whenever possible, these images are updated to reflect the newest graphics available in the game. Submissions regarding updated images are appreciated, as once a quest is done it cannot be redone to retake certain pictures. Images submitted to be used in quest guides should be taken on the highest detail graphical settings: maximum brightness, 4x anti-aliasing, textures on, etc. Images used in quest guides must be saved in a .png format. They should also not have other players in them wherever possible. Thank You! I'd just like to reassure you that everything is this forum is read, but if it's something like this that needs confirmation that can sometimes take us time. In order for the guides to be as accurate as possible, we like to confirm things in-game (which isn't as easy with quests as it can be with other things) if screenshot proof isn't available. Heya Ravenbloed, thanks for the submission. I've done this quest a few times before following the guide, and I never had that issue so I quickly made a trial account then to test it out. If you follow the guide directly as it is, you are right in saying that you don't get the 'fire' option. However, I was able to do it without talking to Darren Lightfinger and having him tell you to make a fire. Instead, first talking to father Urhney seemed to be enough. For example, pickpocket, talk, light fire, talk again. That worked. As such, I've added the following sentence to that part of the guide: "Talk to him about the chalice." Thanks for the submission, I've credited you for your help.

I've heard 1/100 (maybe I just imagined it, but it isn't anything too rare) and I had about that level of success overall. I got my black egg on my third kill, my blue in under 100 kills, and my red/green in a couple of hundred each.
