  1. Heya Dreamscapist, thanks for the post. The item entry is now completed, and you have been credited for your help. That item (and all of the 22 Lamp of the Djinn related items) can now be found in our items database.
  2. Heya Fireant, thanks for bringing this to our attention. In the last month (or maybe the month before), Jagex changed how Guthix rest is made, and it seems we started to make the change to the guide, before getting distracted by something else and almost forgetting about it :P. So thanks for the reminder. I've finished making the required changes and credited you for your help, thanks!
  3. Heya and thanks for the post. You've been credited for your help, and you should now be able to see the item.
  4. Heya Roselia, thanks for pointing this out. They were changed in the last few months when Jagex fiddled with a few of the lower level potions. It seems we overlooked them at the time. For example, looking at strength potions: Was level 12 herblore giving 50 exp. Now level 7 herblore giving 40 exp. There are a few other changes too, so I'll update the guide right away and let someone know about the calculator so that can get sorted too. Thanks for bringing it to our attention, you'll be credited for your assistance.
  5. I just checked on it for you too and I managed to figure out what you mean. If you try entering the number using your keyboard, the number is placed at the end of the number already there. For example: 10 hp is shown. You want to enter 50 hp, so you enter 50. This appears after the 10, so now 1050 is shown. That's too high, so it goes down to 99. You can avoid this by using the up/down arrows to the right of the number to get the number you are wanting.
  6. If you've followed a link from google, it's possible it had something in the url to cause it to come up. Mod Chrisso posted how to remove it here: [qfc]278-279-86-64946074[/qfc] (page 2) (if you hadn't found out how to remove it already of course).
  7. With regard to the website tweets, they are usually done only when there is a release of a new guide/calc or an existing one has been revamped. Lately, that hasn't been happening as often due to updates not requiring guides, or when they do we are slow in getting them out. The Worlds Wake guide has been available for a couple of weeks now. There was a small mistake in that it was ready, but wasn't shown on the site so it actually should have been available for much longer. Apologies for that one. As for the other stuff, things come up but I do agree it's been a bit quiet on that front. Even with the lack of major guides being released in a timely manner, there have been around 10,000 edits logged to the site since the end of February. Due to the way that number is calculated, that number is actually smaller but still a considerable amount nonetheless. Hopefully we improve on our timeliness/getting up to date with guides in the next few weeks.
  8. When first asked about oldschool, there was a poll. It got around 450k votes, well short of the amount of votes needed for f2p oldschool support. As such, there were no f2p worlds. Later on, Jagex realised there was a demand from people to have f2p restricted worlds in order to pk on them. They put it to the poll, but due to a misleading wording it failed. They repolled it, making it clear what was meant and it passed, getting 75% votes. That is, the f2p restricted worlds for members only are due to a poll in which the community voted. There are no f2p worlds for non members since that would cost more for Jagex, and they don't really benefit from it. It would allow people to bot without a cost to them (currently people bot, but Jagex gets paid for it). F2p worlds could be argued to be a 'demo' to attract new players, but the game is from 2007. That is a 7 year old game. Most players are those that have played in the past, and already know what to expect and as a result don't need a 'demo'. The fact that you don't understand Sy Accursed's logic reveals a lot more about your intelligence than his.
  9. Hey there, Thanks for your submission. This has been fixed and you've been credited.
  10. I'd like to see an oldschool section added too, but these things take a lot of work to implement. At the moment, it's just too much work so it won't be happening. It's not because we don't want to, but moreso because we can't. The archive (which is linked at the bottom of each page on the site) should work for most things, except for calculators and a few random items. The guides should all be accessible though. The way I deal with it while doing a quest for example, is navigate tip.it regularly to find the quest I want, then I scroll down and visit the archive. The main reason we don't have an oldschool section is the amount of work needed to get it up and running. There is only a couple of crew members (myself being one of them) who actually play oldschool as their main choice of game. As for a combat calc, http://web.archive.org/web/20120513200746/http://www.tip.it/runescape/?page=combat_calc.htm will work if you leave summon at 1.
  11. I posted this on another thread recently:
  12. http://web.archive.org/web/20120513200746/http://www.tip.it/runescape/?page=combat_calc.htm Should work, just leave summon at 1.
  13. Heya and welcome to the tip.it forums. The guide has had that link corrected now, and you have been credited for your help. Thanks.
  14. I'm also confused here, as I thought that you didn't retain anything in '07scape that you had in EOC. People would buy gp in the 07 game by paying for it with gp from the EOC game. It involves a trust trade, and the cost for 07 gp is pretty high.
  15. My understanding of it at the moment is that we won't be putting up guides for the 07 version of the game, which includes quest guides. Currently, it's possible to access the old versions of tip.it's guides through the wayback machine (http://web.archive.o...p.it/runescape/). This stance might change, but there is nothing planned at the moment.
  16. grow up Chris. On Topic, since membership is separate then your normal account/normal RS after the first month, do you think a lot of people will simply use an old account or a separate account, or just bundle it with their normal account? EDIT: Also couldn't find anything on this, is there a rough ETA time-wise when they launch it? it is not seperate. You have to buy EoCScape mems before you can purchase 07scape mems. Separate in the sense it's not included in our regular payments for the current game. I'll be playing 07RS on an old/separate account while keeping my current account a member on the main game.
  17. Has SUOMI decided how he will be getting his last Thieving XP yet? A somewhat unique (compared to a lamp or just pickpocketing) method he could consider is releasing a monkey on Karamja. At 99 Thieving, it would give him 198 Thieving XP. He'd have to be on Karamja for that method though.
  18. Using recruit a friend would work as follows: Pay for membership on the recruited account Get membership for free on the main account You get 2 member accounts to vote with, but you only pay for one. Anyone paying for an account just to vote with would still be paying the same, they'd just be getting 2 votes instead. You aren't paying anymore than you would for just one voting account.
  19. I will be voting yes on my current 3 member accounts. For anyone thinking of subscribing just to vote yes, take advantage of the 'recruit a friend' scheme and you can get two votes for the price of one.
  20. True. And once they DO come back and yall realize where all the fun is at.... I'll leave it at that. If this whole thing becomes a sucess, more than haf of the users online will be on the 2007 servers. Enjoy your empty worlds. This ^ Seriously ... lol, everyone on this board is so negative "i don't want bla bla bla" ... i can't wait to get to 250k. I will gladly pay $5 extrah löl. $15 extra. You only pay $5 more if you hit 500k. $5 more is in the 250k+ tier. The 500k+ tier is no additional cost.
  21. I'd assume no rares in the game, no reason that there has to be really.
  22. A new poll has been added to the tip.it homepage regarding 2007 servers, it'll be interesting to see the results so vote :).

Heya Gugge, thanks for the corrections/updates. I've made the changes which don't need confirmation, and we'll leave this open for the rest. You've been credited for the changes made so far.
  24. Jagex still don't delete accounts, just try recovering it if you can be bothered. F2P accounts don't show on the hiscores, so that's why it can't be searched for on the hiscores. Checking the official RS forums, your account can be found there (with 1 post). If it can't be logged into, that's because the password isn't right.
