  1. lol and even after he posted it's april fools people are still not reading the posts and signing up for a non existent pawhite: open 2k and ess back -silver24-7- -.-
  2. steel is best, and yeah it costs some money. I just bought steel bars for getting 85 smith :) ohw and btw if you are lvl 15 right now you will find out that you wont be going for 99 real soon
  3. thats for sure XD But the fact is most people have 70 or even 80 defence, and go pking in rune, or dhides, or even worse, I've seen mains pking in robes. And then a pure can just own them anytime. :P And it isn't their fault people don't use their defensive skills to the max. It's not like pures are getting 90 attack to hold a whip, or 70 to hold a dlong, no, they get the minimum attack lvl they need to hold the weapon they pk with :P and yes, they are indeed stronger in wildy because they are created for the wildy, I don't think jagex should be against creating an account for pking :S
  4. cant bank em, keep as many as you want in your invent.
  5. Verac has the worst MAGIC defence imo : no he actually has better mage defense then the other melee sets I believe :P And yeah he has less slash defense since his torso is mostly exposed and it's easier to hack him open there  But his flail just hits really hard on you so he isn't easy to heal on :(
  6. I'm going to update the main post to make this clear to everyone. I am NOT saying that jagex discriminates pures because they can't wear armor etc. but because they feel it's not in the spirit of the game and make nasty comments about them. And then I'm wondering why they aren't actually supporting pures, heck, they support new little 6yr olds because they pay, why not support pures because they pay as well :S AND ONCE AGAIN I'M NOT SAYING THEY SHOULD, just wondering why they aren't. geez :S
  7. :XD: ohw and blouinator I completely agree with you, yet they mention that pures are ase said before "against the spirit of the game" I really don't get this :/ And freesia, why would I want to prove an update where they discriminated against pures ? :S would be easy to find one, a barrows weapons requiring def ie. but that wasn't the point, I said they didn't like them, not that they were actively trying to discriminate them. Or are they maybe just acting as if, to keep some mains happy and not complaining while they rake in other peoples pures $$$ ? that might actually be a reason :o
  8. why do people still say "large" instead of full helm ? :S rs2 has been released since ages, and for some reason, seeing things like large helm or herblaw annoy me :S on topic: 99.99% sure they will eventually release more dragon items, and 3rd age armor didn't really change much since it's so incredibly rare... Does it affect staking much btw? I can imagine maxed out meleers wouldn't want to stake with armor on in fear their opponent would suddenly equip full 3rd age :o
  9. How do you figure? I have a pure that I would never even consider making a member. Anyway, I think that Jagex likes pures and sees it as a way of emergent gameplay. srry that had to say at least 1 paying pure, I'm off to correct that. well we've seen through time that jagex at least show disliking to pures "not being in the spirit of the game". and qeltar, come on, you really think jagex can change their combat formula right now? :shame: sniper, I agree they don't have to support pures, but them being "deceptive" isn't really true, they have more attacking ability then cb lvl shows, but a lot less defensive skills then cb lvl shows, and even it they were deceptive, people would know how to recognize a pure and its stats by now.
  10. I cant even remember that myself :S lol, if someone knows please post \ darkstar, nice sig you got there XD and thnx for support blueblood and u 2 as well :) EDIT: I actually got 2 more smithing lvls   and even prepared rune ess to get some rc lvls through air crafting.... wtf am I doing :ohnoes: :ohnoes: I shouldn't be playing now :(
  11. I always pronounce them in dutch so it's like this :P Dharok - d ÃÆÃâÃâàr ÃÆÃâÃâò k same as: dah-rock Karil - k ÃÆÃâÃâá r ÃÆÃâÃâì l : ka-ril Verac - v ÃÆÃâÃâè r ÃÆÃâÃâàk : ver-rak Guthan - g ÃÆÃâÃâù t(h) ÃÆÃâÃâè n : guh ten for some reason I dont pronounce this one in dutch, probably because it'd sound really bad. Ahrim - ÃÆÃâÃâá r ÃÆÃâÃâì m : a-rim Torag - t ÃÆÃâÃâò r ÃÆÃâÃâàk : toh-rak
  12. how would selling veracs under 5mill get its price up ? :? :uhh: #-o ohw and btw dont u want people to read your sig ? or do you just want them to actually make an effort to do so :P I bet I'll never see jagex admitting their mistake and giving me back my pure :(
  13. Jagex has said that they didn't think pures were the spirit of the game (as stated above -.- ). And I can really see why they don't like them. When RS was first made, they probably did it to let people have some fun. train all their skills, go questing, etc. However, they didn't ever imagine some guy drop trading 100m onto his new pure staker (to train no skills but the desired) and Get 99 mage/range at a ridiculously low cb lvl (which is ridiculous IMO ). Well you can earn 100mill without drop trading no problems, not to mention, you dont need 100mill to get 99 strength, you even make money while pcing for it. And I can't see what's wrong with it either, seriously you shouldn't think it's easy to get 99 strength on an account with 1 defense, I should know, I trained up to 87 strength at experiments :ohnoes: and if their objective really was to let people have fun playing their game, then why not let the people decide on how they make their fun? and I really don't think they care that much about fun as they do about money (can we really blame them? we do the same thing, remember the poll about new skill etc.) and since pures make them lots of money....
  14. oh how do you log out? ive been logged in for 17 years already :? whahaha you didn't quite get it XD Lets put it this way, you log out when you LOSE in combat.... O:) Ohw not to forget that most of the time you don't get rewarded for winning in combat, you usually get locked up for some time in a place where you can mainly only train strength which is no use afterwards because you aren't allowed to win combat :S ohw and in some countries you might even get perm banned just for winning combat :ohnoes: :ohnoes:
  15. thnx for actually adding to the topic here screech :) But you are one of the very few ;) I do think that we partially imagine jagex being against pures but they have definitely mentioned and shown their dislikes against pures every now and then. ohw and bobbaldrick 1) where and how am I ranting about US pures? since when am I a pure ? maybe visit my blog and check ;) ohw and yeah I used to have a pure account and never felt offended by jagex for being a pure. 2) About those specific things, the point of this topic was also to discuss whether jagex disliking pures is just our imagination so don't ask me to name specific things -.-
  16. 50 IQ is a little too much credit..? Lovely, isn't it. Well, A monkey has an IQ of 80 I thought. So, that would make the people with dumb posts on the rant forum equally smart to.. pigeons? <-- you say equally to ? -.- O well, they deliver the message too.. I like the Moderators response, a smart one :XD: I like your spelling talent !!! very much. Anyways I think you guys shouldn't be this harsh with the poor little 8 year olds. I mean come on it's not their fault that jagex makes this game so attractive to them and talks their parents into making them play this game O:)
  17. uhm kenshi: you might be pretty close with that percentage, but only because there are some people who make 40 f2p pures and then leave them (like my lil bro  ) Other then that, there are MANY paying pures, believe me. I've seen them :P And why is it not in the spirit of the game that a lvl 60-70+ because it's not very possible at 40 can kill a lvl 90 if the pure is better prepared for wilderness combat and spent more time training his stats? adam, I don't know what difference there would be with primary pures? they are still paying members, and I don't believe there are many pure accounts which are that persons only paying account. but there may be some, I wouldn0t know why jagex would dislike those either though :S smapla, I completely agree on you that pures have no right to rant about not getting certain features or calling people def noobs just because they chose not to get def, which of the two options is better though is not for you nor me to decide. But that still doesn't explain why pures aren't liked by jagex :S I am seriously wondering why they wouldn't like pures, or IF we are really just imagining it.

  19. Well, many times we can notice how jagex does things to bother pures, or just shows some sort of dislike to pures in their game. But I was wondering why they do this? Pures are usually second accounts of paying members, people who make pures don't often stop paying for their main, and some people even make 3 or even more accounts to have all different kinds of pure, AND pay membership for all of them. So what I was wondering, if jagex makes so many chances to attract new members, why not promote making pures? They would double their amount of members if everyone would make at least 1 pure. Discuss if you have any idea what they really have got against pures, or if we are really just imagining them to? EDIT: I REPEAT: I do not think jagex discriminates pures or anything because they can't wear the armor with def requirements -.- please just read all posts before replying ty :) or just don't reply, since this topic isn't really going anywhere, I was hoping to get some good reasons about why jagex didn't like pures but only jagex knows so nvm.
  20. dont copy my name pl0x lol how should I know ? XD

  23. according to jagex you were scamming right there... Anyways that is one heck of a nice chest :o
  24. I saw one being a prayer nooooob in edge wildy XD versus another mod btw, he eventually got pooned though :P And uhm.... a f2per with 99 rc ? :o and I mean someone who never had membership, I suppose there must be someone but omg :o
