I can understandwhat you're saying, but really none of it qualifies as a reason not to buy a whip. The fact that it only hit's 1 more compared to a 1.8mill price difference doesn't matter, because you are going to keep the whip forever, have that 1 max hit extra forever, and when you get tired of your whip you can just get the money it cost you back and buy armor, but if you just go get some good drops with your whip you'll have money for armor soon enough. And so you say people walk around in full rune and a whip, it's not that hard to earn 2mill, seriously, runecrafting can get you much more then 1 mill in less then a day so don't talk about newbs saving up for months to buy a whip because it simply isn't necessary. And the fact that you can't train strength with it is also untrue, I understand that many people don't like to train overall but it doesn't really make a difference if you train them one at a time or all at the same time unless you want to keep certain stats low. And then there is the fact that whip is a semirare item ;) you can only get it by doing the hard task of killing abyssal demons, and you can buy a scimmy from the shop whenever you want. For the ones that don't know, at the abby demons it can take several hours to get a whip, hours in which those very same people, using easier to get stats, could have earned millions by making nats. So only to pay their time for getting the whip the price should be as it is. And if people don't like the whip, the price isn't much likely to drop hard, but a lot less people will just kill abbies to get them, and thereby keep the price at a certain level. I would like to ask you, if you had 85 slayer, and whip was worth the same as a dscimmy, would you spent 5-10hours killing demons to get one? And if whip were worth 1mill, would you do it? Because I definetly wouldn't, not even for 1.5mill which they have actually been at for some time. Well that's just what I think about it, I'm pretty much saying that the whip's price isn't as much based on it's statistics, but more on the effort required to get one;) ...Silver

the best one was definetly Recipe for Disaster. That one was great and it was loads of fun trying to figure the hard parts out with friends on the first day :) Then again, it was the 100th quest, it would be bad if it weren't the best quest of the year :P

Hey, I'm silver24-7 I suppose most of you already know me because I used to spend all day on this forums and RS. But I recently quit/paused RS and only visit every now and then. But still I'll introduce myself :P I'm a boy, 16 years old, I am Dutch but I moved to Spain 3 years ago where I still live (Barcelona) don't bother editing that out for me I know that if someone wants to find me that info doesn't get them anywhere My RS accounts are Silver24-7 and my pure 00 srry o0 which has been banned without a good reason but my appeal was auto replied and declined :cry: My main goals in RS were owning the wild and getting rich :) And the moment I achieved both of them I quit rs because it was more or less completed :P As I already said I used to spend way too much time on RS and got pretty for in the little game :P Anyways I suppose you don't but if anyone might have any questions just pm me or reply here :) ...Silver24-7 EDIT: forgot to tell :P I started playing RS around Easter 2005 and joined the forums rather soon, became member in August 2005 and been member ever since, still are now :P bought half a year not long before I quit :oops:

I did :P :) and it's exactly like me :) except for I never wear white pants but those combined well with the oufit lol.

lost connection many times while pking with valuable items like whip, dharoks, veracs, ahrims, etc and actually DIED. And other times that I dced in FIGHT CAVES GRRRRR those are the most annoying ones :P especially when you're near or against JAD. My internet connection is a proffessional 1mbps TELEFONICA SPAIN, [cabbage] CRAP LINE, that it disconnects whenever a gust of wind blows throught the cables, and you can forget about it when it rains. So it works quik and everything but disconnects A LOT. Maybe all those connection losts are part of the cause for me to find rs boring now. Anyways the worst connect lost was while pking with green phat XD but I didn't die :DDD ...Silver p.s. good to see you again beaten ;) pm me your msn or icq or whatever adress so we can keep in touch.

That's the reason why I quit runescape :P If you really don't find it fun anymore just stop playing it until you feel like it again. There's plenty of other things to do in life so don't worry about leaving something you worked so hard on. Look at my blog to see how many hours I have spent on my accounts :P crazy.... lol that doesnt necessariyl mean its hard :P just that's its too boring and useless to get 99 in ;) btw dont try telling me agility isn't useless -.- I know that and I have lvl 70 agil myself. But lvl 95-99 is DEFINETLY not worth the effort. And maybe 80-95 aren't either.
